29 Chapter 29: Chill days

Ben sat down on his couch with a bowl of cereal with the tv on. Ben was just chilling like usual. After he ate and watched some tv for a bit he felt bored. Getting up he put on a yellow hoodie and left it un-zipped. Pulling out his phone he started walking to the park where he messaged a group chat with James, Austin, Will, and Isaiah in it.

{Hey, yall wanna come and hang out?}

James:{Sure, be there ina bit}

Austin:{Got it,}

Will:{ight, Ill be there soon,}

Putting his phone back in his pocket he walked over to a clump of trees for shade. He sat down for a bit waiting for his friends to show up. Thirty minutes later they arrived and walked up to Ben. James and Isaiah were talking to Ben when they saw Austin start chasing Will around while Will was running for his life. They all started laughing.

Will: "AAAAAHHH! HELPPPP HES GONNA KILL MEEE!"

Isaiah started to laugh a lot and run over to help out. James just sat next to Ben and giggled a bit.

James: "It's been a bit since we all just hanged with just us four."

Ben: "Yea, it has been a bit, but the tournament has kept us busy."

James: "It's nice to just relax once in awhi-...hold on..."

Ben: "What?"

James: "Is it just me, or is Will's hair look green?"

Ben: "Huh? O...yea? When did that happen? Maybe that's why Austin was chasing him?" Ben let out a light chuckle.

James got up and looked at Ben, "Ima go chase em, you gonna join in?"

Ben: "Yeah sure," Ben got up and brushed off the grass from his pants. When he looked up James was already chasing after them. With a short laugh he ran after them. They ran around the park for a few hours chasing each other around. The sun's rays cast down on them all as they happily ran around as if nothing in the world bothered them at all. They all smiled and laughed carelessly for the entire time, yelling at each other and enjoying themselves.

Eventually James Tackled them all to the ground and they all just laid there out of breath laughing on the grass. Slowly they all sat up a bit and smiled.

James: "By the way, Will, why is your hair green?"

Will: "Huh? My little sister made me get our hair dyed."

James laughed, "Well I guess you would let her do that wouldn't you,"

They all sat there and laughed together before they started talking about their use of the time in between the tournament. As it turned out they had all been working hard to get stronger for the most part. Besides a few specific days where certain ones just relaxed. As they were talking Isaiah was the first person to start yawning before the rest soon did too. They all decided to head home and take tomorrow as their day of rest before the tournament. Getting up they all went their own ways heading home. Ben was glad he got to see his friends again and just be able to relax. But before he could think much on the subject he passed out on his bed.

~The next day~

James and Isaiah got up around noontime and went down eating some food. They had some eggs with pancakes and a bit of maple syrup. Sitting down on the couch they ended up wasting the whole day away just relaxing. Jess joined in with them and watched tv as well as recommending movies to watch. They at first just watched some action films that James had never seen before in his previous life and then watched others from different genres that he also didn't get to see. For a few hours, Nicole came over as well, Isaiah invited her over apparently, and they all hanged out having a good time watching different movies.

Austin went over to Will's place and hanged out with his family. They relaxed for most of the day watching tv, cooking, and a lil baking. Later in the day they went out hunting together for a few hours and didn't come back until dark. When they came back they had a lot of food as well as extra animal meat they could sell for extra money. Serah was really happy to be able to hang out with her older brother and his friend. She looked up to them and thought they were really cool. She even said she wanted to be like them when she was older. Although they thought she probably didn't know what that implicated, it still made them happy to hear that.

Ben ended up sleeping most of the day. He didn't wake up till six in the afternoon. Although he wasn't planning on doing much throughout the day anyways, he made something nice to eat and bought a cake for his family to enjoy. He put the cake on a plate with a cover followed by going back up to his room and getting comfy in bed. Ben played some games on his phone without much thought before getting bored. After spending an hour looking for any new games he might like he gave up trying as they all were too much space or were annoying. In the end he wound up watching some videos on Viewtube from his favorite creators, before passing back out at eleven at night.

Cora searched around her room trying to find a nice outfit to wear. But she wanted to still wear casual clothes to the event but look nice as well. She spent an hour before she managed to come to a decision on what to wear. She spent the rest of the day relaxing and texted Austin latter into the day and chatted with him for a bit. She didn't manage to pass out until around midnight due to her thinking so much about the next day.
