27 Chapter 27:Depth

Nicole was sitting in her room as she watched TV. After the core matches she's been relaxing around the house mostly. Her friend Casey was busy with her family for the moment so she didn't know what to do really. As she sat on her bed zoning out, she heard a buzzing sound from her phone.

Picking up the pink phone and unlocking it, she saw she had gotten a text. It was from Isaiah.

{Hey}

{Sup?}

{Um, I was wondering if u wanted to hang out?}

{Sure, where to?}

{Um...}

{You have no clue do you}

{Not really,}

{XD leave it to you to forget to think of a place}

{>^< what about the park then? theirs that lil hill with a large tree. Supposedly u can see most of the town from there.}

{Hmm.... what about we go at night-ish so then we can see the lights :3}

{ok! sounds like a plan! :)}

Nicole locked her phone screen and put it in her blue shorts pocket. She was about to go back to TV but then heard her stomach growl, '...ok, maybe I should get something to eat' Getting out of her bed she stretched a lil, but not enough to make her shirt rise.

Walking out her room and down the stairs, she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bag of popcorn. After cooking it and adding some salt and butter she went back to the stairs. out of the corner of her eyes she noticed her parents and lil sister sitting on the couch watching movies. She smiled and went up to her room and laid in bed after shutting her door.

Nicole was glad that her family spent time together. Although she didn't enjoy hanging out with her parents much, she was glad her little sister was happy at least. She was used to not spending much time with her parents, so at least her sis, Gina, was getting attention from them. She wished her parents gave her attention like that too when she was younger. But the past is the past. She shook her head and went back to her tv. As she looked at different movies for a bit she finally found a few that seemed interesting. One was a new horror movie she hadn't seen yet. There were also a few action and romance movies she decided looked interesting to watch. she decided to watch 2 action movies first and another romance movie after those. After that it should be about time to get ready to go out.

Both action movies lasted around 2 hours. the first one was about a cop and how his kid was taken. He spent all his effort with his friend to find his kid and make the kidnappers pay. The second one was about how a soldier went MIA in the middle of a battle. The soldier had left he battle due to his disagreement with the orders given, he goes out and tries to make a new life for himself in a village but is dragged back into fighting by the local criminals.

She enjoyed both of them a lot before she then went on to watch the romance movie.

The plot of the movie went along the lines of this. There was a boy who transferred into a new town due to his father's work. When he attends his new school he introduced himself and quickly becomes a popular student. The boy excels at sports and academics. In his class, there is a pretty girl who likes him. She slowly comes to terms with her feelings towards the new boy. She becomes close friends of his and finds out that he lost his mother when he was young. She comforts him and they sit together for a while. They talk for a bit before the boy asks her out, which she says yes to him and they kiss.

Nicole felt many emotions about the movie and what it presented to her. Although it was a relatively straight forward story, it resonated with her for some reason. Well, she enjoyed the movie much more then she expected. Most romance movies don't usually have an effect on her, but it did this time. She was kind of happy she found one that she finally actually enjoyed a lot.

Looking out her window she saw the sun was starting to set and she should text Isaiah to see if he was ready. She picked up her phone again and pulled up there DM.

{Hey, you ready yet?}

{um, yea almost. Just got to do something quickly}

{ok, I'm gonna get ready to head out then}

{ight,}

Nicole got up and looked around her room to pick what to wear. She grabbed black jeans and put them on. Afterward, she garbed a white t-shirt with a gray jacket. Putting on her blue sneakers she got up and went down the stairs and outside.

{alright, ima head to the park, what are you doin}

{On my way there right now, see you there :) }

Putting her phone in her jacket pocket she started walking down the street towards the park. All the houses had a few lights on with a few exceptions. She saw in the distance many tall buildings that looked like they reached through the clouds as if they pierce the sky. By the time she arrived by the park, the sun had set and it was dark out. Some of the stars had started to show already. She walked through the park and up the hill to the tree. She saw Isaiah sitting down next to it with his eyes closed. Nicole sat down next to him and looked out. She felt like she could see for miles. All the building lights throughout the city were viewable. The shimmering stars blended with the endless space that hovered over the city. Isaiah fell over and he ended up laying on her legs. Nicole stared down at him for amount, partially confused. she had a slight blush on her face as she stared at his peaceful face. After a few minutes of him not waking she decided to just let him be there. She played with his black hair as it was very soft. She leaned up against the tree and stared out over the town as she played with his hair gently as to not wake him up suddenly.

As the night went on she slowly drifted off into sleep. A few hours passed through the night peacefully. Isiah slowly woke up. All he felt was something soft and warm under his head. As he opened his eye slightly he saw Nicole passed out peacefully. Her brown hair draped down her back with a few strands over her shoulders. Isaiah blushed hard Immediately. He was laying on her lap and she didn't mind at all. He had an embarrassed smile on his face as he quietly and happily went back to sleep. The wind lightly blew on the hill making a nice breeze. The cars in the distance were quite. The trees ruffled as the two slept comfortably without stress. A moment of peace and balance was brought to them. Where they could relax and be calm. At home with nature and the world. The night went on in tranquility and peace. As the stars shun their light upon the world and the moon reflected its own. The clouds slowly drifted on and the sky looked at ease.
