13 Chapter 13:Nicole

{Hey, just before the chapter starts, for reference, this occurs during the same time as chapter 12}

Nicole woke up as she stared up at her ceiling. Sitting up, she saw her room with her desk across the room and her backpack laid against it. She had relatively decent stats, and her parents were happy about this. To her parents, this, her appearance and, intelligence would probably secure her future. Her long brown hair draped down her back and over her shoulders. As she got up and stretched her arms she yawned.

Walking over to her closet she pulled out her white long sleeve and shut it. Then she went and got some black jeans, with a silver chain on the side of her pocket. Then getting a purple hoodie. Quickly pulling her clothes on and her new Light blue shoes on and grabbing her backpack. She then ran downstairs and cooked an egg and toast before taking it with her and going to school. As she got there, students poured into the building, and kids were dropped off by bus or themselves. Walking to class many students were grouped up together talking. Getting to class she sat down and put her bag under her desk. As the bell rang, a boy with jet black hair and a neon-green hoodie on with black sweatpants on with white shoes sat next to her. She looked at him for a moment.

'Isaiah, He's cool and is one of two brothers. We do school projects together and it's fun. Although no one's found out what rank they and their friends are yet. Although I am curious, he might think I only care about his stats instead and not see me as a friend if I ask suddenly, I'll wait till he says something instead.'

The class went by normally and She talked to Isaiah a bit before leaving for lunch. During lunch, she heard from her friend, Casey that Isaiah's brother had gotten into a little skirmish with Barren. Casey had blonde hair, brown eyes, and a blue T-shirt on with orange sweat pants on with sneakers.

Nicole: "Is he ok? what happened, did barren threaten them all?"

Casey: "Calm down first of all. second, he's fine and I'm not sure if he did or not, I only saw that end of the situation." Nicole calmed down a bit and decided to simply let it go for the moment and try to get through the rest of the day. As the end of the day came, it started raining so she zipped up her hoodie and put her hood on. Nicole walked towards the front door. Looking through the glass she saw Isaiah and his group fighting for a moment before they left. Nicole went outside and saw that three people were laying on the ground. 'looks like they're safe.' Nicole left school and went home. Going to her room she laid down to relax for a bit before doing any work. Nicole sat at her desk as she did her work. The pouring rain and thunder pounding down upon the ground. She found the background sound...calming of sorts and she quickly got her work done.

After completing her class's homework, she went and grabbed some food to eat. Nicole took her time eating for a bit then sat and watched the TV. After a while she passed out comfortable and calm. The rain continued all night pouring on the town and thunder echoed out through the town. winds swept up water on the ground and causing a mist in the air. By morning it was foggy out but not too cold, the air was at a comfortable temperature so everyone was happy as it wasn't hot or freezing.

And so, the next day began and Nicole went back to school once again. When she saw Isaiah she asked about the fight. He only said the other three picked a fight with them so Nicole nodded, continuing her day. The rest of the day was rather calm and enjoyable for her, as she felt like she could relax and not worry her friend.
