1 Getting Scammed and Being Reborn
I lived a very boring life.
I came from the Tanaka family in Kyoto. We were a family that practiced martial arts at our dojo and also were practitioners of traditional Japanese medicine. Our martial arts pursued the pinnacle of both physical body strength and sword arts. Our martial arts were so great that even the military had soldiers come and study under my grandfather, who was the dojo master.
Let's talk about me.
My name is Tanaka Shouyo. My dad was the next in line to take my grandfather's place as the dojo head. I grew up only seeing pictures of my mother, never seeing her or even knowing who she was. All I knew was that she was dead and that she was the only woman my father ever loved. Whenever I ask anyone besides my father and grandfather, they would always say that they didn't know her at all. Whenever I asked my father or grandfather, they would always find a way to change the topic without telling me anything. I couldn't even find anything within the government archives about my mother, so I gave up and decided to ignore the issue, although it always gnawed at my heart .
In my youth, I was born an academic genius; my mind was like a sponge and would absorb all the knowledge it came across. I mastered subjects and courses at rates that didn't even make sense. By the age of 9, I had already finished high school. By the age of 15, I'd already gained a masters degree in multiple courses.
At that point, I became bored of studies and work, so I holed myself up in my room. And spend my days doing nothing by surfing the internet, reading light novels and manga and watching anime I lived this way until the age of 20. In those 5 years, my favorite anime was Naruto. Although I had my issues with Shippuden, it was still my favorite thing to watch.
That all changed when my grandfather forced me out of my room to study martial arts. It was at that time that I came to discover my intrigue for martial arts. I trained day and night, for I had nothing else to do with my life. I was hailed a supreme genius by my family, but I didn't care. All my focus and attention was directed to my martial arts.
By the age of 25, I had already surpassed my father in both strength and skill. The only one above me in the dojo was my grandfather. Everyone was proud of me and made me the center of attention. I grew bored as there was no one to fight me in the dojo except my grandfather, so I began dojo hunting.
I went on to single-handedly destroy every reputable dojo in Japan. My strength soared and my blood boiled, but that came to an end. Feeling a thirst for greater strength, I went to China to battle every single martial artist of considerable strength. By the age of 40, I stood at the pinnacle of martial arts.
I once again grew really bored. I had reached the lonely summit and had no one left to fight me. There was no competition to contend against. There was no more meaning to any further strength gain. I felt really tired of everything.
But it didn't last long.
One day, I was browsing the internet while on an island resort, and came upon a weird page. The page was blank except for one question.

Now, I had a feeling that this was some shady shit but I didn't really care, so I went along with it and pressed yes. A new question appeared below the first one.
[If you had the chance to go to the fictional world of your choice, would you go? Y/N]
Are you kidding me? Anyone who has watched as much anime and read as many light novels at me would jump at such an opportunity, but unfortunately, such a thing isn't real.
'Who cares? Might as well go the whole way with this.'
So I pressed yes, and this time, two questions came up, each with a dialogue box underneath.

[State 3 gifts you'd like to be born with in said world, given that said ability doesn't break the balance in the Universe.]
For the first question, there wasn't even a need to think: I immediately wrote 'Naruto'. For the second question, I put 'Instant mastery', but that was rejected. I put 'Instant comprehension', but that was also rejected. But why though?
I began to think about it, before writing 'Enhanced wisdom and comprehension speed'. I downsized the effects of 'Instant comprehension', so it should work right?
It worked. Nice. Let's see, how about 'All basic elemental affinities, including space and time'. It also worked. Time for the last one. How about 'Rapid growth and mastery'. Also accepted. Great.
A new question came up.

If I were to go to the Naruto world, I might as well go to Konohagakure right? I mean, that's the most obvious thing to do, so I pressed the button for Konohagakure.
The page became purple and a new message written in shining gold appeared.
[Congratulations. The requirements have been complete. You shall now go to the Naruto world. Beware, there may be a bit of pain.]
Without giving me time to finish reading the last message, a golden bolt of thunder suddenly descended from the sky and struck my head, effectively killing me instantly.

'WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT SHIT!'
As you can see, I'm not exactly feeling okay about what just happened. I did DIE after all. I can still feel the pain of having lightning strike my head. That is not an experience I ever want to relive. I wanted to scream but realized I couldn't open my mouth. I couldn't even open my eyes properly. Where am I? It's dark and I seem to be suspended in some sort of liquid. I feel a tube coming out of my stomach.
Wait. A tube? Coming out of my stomach? What's going on?
I try to move around only to discover that I did not have space. I was curled up with my knees and elbows tucked in and unable to move around.
Tucked position, tube coming out of my stomach, suspended in liquid...Am I in someone's womb?
How did I get in someone's womb? What's going on.? Wait a second. The only explanation for this is that I reincarnated. How else would I end up in someone's womb?
Was it those questions? They were fake weren't they? Does this mean I actually left Earth?
FUCK! I got scammed! I didn't even get to have a wife yet! What the fuck!!
My rant got cut short by the liquid I was in disappearing and everything around me convulsing and contracting.
