Teacher Zhang adjusted her hair slightly causing the loose curls to bounce on her voluptuous curves.

Her eyes though were steadily fixed on the scrawny little girl in front of her, coldly scanning the shabbily dressed teenager from top to bottom.

Eluraa might have worn shabby clothes, but there was an aura of undeniable elegance, power, and nobility around her that annoyed and irritated the proud woman.

"Hmm... As I was telling you Jemma, it looks like nowadays they just about let anyone inside the damn academy!" Teacher Zhang sneered, with disdain and contempt clearly visible in her eyes.

The administrator Jemma chuckled, seemingly in cahoots with her close friend.

"What brings you here? Don't you have physical training now? Hmph. If you let weaklings in, this is what you can expect. Slacking off at all hours!" Jemma sternly looked at Eluraa as she chided her.

"I want to sign up for group missions." Eluraa ignored the two prattling woman and got straight to business.

She already knew that this was the attitude she was going to be predominantly up against at the least for a few years.

"Hmph. Don't you know you need a group for group missions?" Jemma scoffed angrily.

"Don't stand around here and waste my time. First, go and get your basics straight. Then you can march on to the outlands and commit suicide."

"Heh. Let her go Jemma. At least the academy would be a little cleaner." Teacher Zhang chuckled condescendingly.

Though they were sarcastically mocking Eluraa, there was a truth to their words.

The missions were usually located in the forest areas surrounding the human settlements or the villages and towns on the outskirts.

The dense forests extended for miles and miles, with untold dangers and mysteries hidden within their hearts.

Missions that required the students to enter the forests were usually not issued in the academy, but sometimes, missions associated with a certain degree of danger were allocated to sharpen and train the students.

But ultimately, what Eluraa can do and cannot do was neither up to administrator Jemma nor up to teacher Zhang.

The academy had a solid set of rules that had to be followed unconditionally, irrespective of the student's social status.

Considering that she was still new to this academy, Eluraa was pondering about her abysmal chances of actually joining a legitimate group.

Even if she was willing, a group unfortunately required other people as well.

Just as Eluraa was fidgeting, a solution to her problem walked towards her.

"Bro, this bumpkin is stalking me!" Fatty's loud voice disrupted Eluraa's silent thought process.

Shi Meng ignored the yapping fatty. Well, he barely even registered his words. His eyes were rather fixated like a hawk on the slender girl standing in front of them.

Noticing Shi Meng's awkward stance, Jian Tan, the tall and lanky guy of the group, quickly interjected.

"Hey fatty! For someone to stalk you, they need to arrive after you, not before you."

The commotion beside him finally snapped Shi Meng back to reality. He quickly used this chance to test the waters.

With a polite grin, he calmly walked towards Eluraa and magnanimously offered her help, "We are short one team member. Would you mind accompanying us for some missions?"

Near him, Jian Tan and fatty Chutput Yan gawked in surprise.

Oh no! There was going to be hell raining down on them today!

Both of them looked at each other with a puzzled helpless face and simultaneously gulped in fear.

An academy student group can only have a maximum of six members.

This was a set rule. Otherwise, dozens would combine together as a group and easily achieve their target missions, which seldom bodes well for their training.

And the fourth person of their group was actually the Crimson territory King's daughter, Reina.

After bugging Shi Meng endlessly for days together, she finally made him accept her and two of her friends into the group through the sheer power of intense nagging.

And now, this guy instantly turned the tables on her after seeing this new transfer student!

Of course, this will never be an issue for him.

The actual people who will face the aftermath of this situation would only be fatty and Jian Tan, and probably this new girl.

Reina was definitely going to unleash hell on them.

Without considering the two stick figures who were subconsciously shivering behind him, Shi Meng graciously extended an invitation to the mysterious new girl.

And Eluraa didn't hesitate much. She immediately accepted the offer without standing on ceremony.

She was not so stuck up as to reject the solution to her problem, that came knocking on her door.

Besides, the people standing in front of her, even the fatty, all seemed to have decent cultivation bases.

So, there was no real reason to reject the offer.
