1 Chapter 1: Truth Enlightenment

"Ahhh..!"

In a silent night, the heartbroken scream echoed all over. A girl was lying numbed in the pool of blood.

She got hit by a minivan. At the last juncture, she hoped that all of it can be a dream, but no it's the bloody reality and brutal truth of her life.

Elizabeth thought back to that it's only been a year since she received the marriage certificate. And what she got to know today made 'her whole life chaotic and meaningless.'

The person whom she deemed as her best friend for her whole life, despite the fact of her miserable family background. The person for whom she contradicts everyone in the world including her family hated her to the bones.

Lucy..!

She has been jealous of Elizabeth's possession, she wants all of it for herself alone. Only when Elizabeth held the final breath of her life she comes to know Lucy whom she took as the closest never considers her as a friend, even far from a best friend. It was all Elizabeth's imagination; she fails to see her true color in time despite the remainders.

What shocked her more was that her husband who promised her to be with her in a difficult time and protect her wholeheartedly his whole life had cheated on her with Lucy.

'An anonymous message was sent to her today, stating, "if you want to know the true appearances of your husband come to the Sunshine hotel, room number 18XX."

At first, she thought it was a prank. Later she received a picture of two persons' back the female's back is blurred and she could barely saw her wavy hair but she could recognize her husband's back at a single glance, the person whom she was in love with.

She prefers to believe him initially and consoled herself that he must be with clients, so she tried to call him for an explanation but no one answered. Now she can't help her hesitancy, be suspicious, and takes off to the given address.

While she was coming close to the hotel her mind cannot help her but waver. She got confused between truth and lies.

A year ago she got married to Kevin Astor with whom she had been in a secret relationship for two years, he was one of her admirers but on her wedding night, he does not even touch her. On that night he received a call after hanging up he came to her explaining that it's an emergency so, he had to travel to London for a business issue overnight. She does not doubt him, but for a year they just held hand or peck on the cheek and forehead, more so only kiss for a short time. They don't have the intimacy which a husband and wife should have.

During the secret relationship, it was her who was against intimate contact before marriage to remain pure but now after receiving the certificate he has the right even so he didn't do.....

He fulfills all other obligations of a husband, but when it came to sexual intimate contact he always tried to avoid it for various reasons. He even didn't reside at home much by taking up a business trip and overwork at the company as excuses.

Sometimes she thought maybe she is not attractive enough to arouse his desire. Therefore, she had consulted the physician in that field and try every means but in vain.

She also asked Lucy, but she only said ''Wait for the right time, he is also conferring the doctor after you to make you happy. Also, you both have your whole life for this and it's a critical stage of life for him, don't let him have too much stress.'' It was a perfect line to suppress her doubts.

He also said, "The doctor advised that I need time to adjust myself because I have suppressed myself in the past. Furthermore, I have a lot of burden on my shoulder, the company has stood a step away from the top, so I can't be distracted in the meantime."

He convinced her by honey trap words explaining that he was doing all this for their better future.

"I know he has a lot of load in his shoulder as he was the in-charge of the whole estate of her inheritance and also CEO of his own company. But isn't a year more than enough to adapt oneself?" she thought

Elizabeth had asked him if he needs help but he declines calmly, "Babe, you just have to enjoy your life to the fullest and leave the rest to me."

As the day went by it arouse uncertainty in her heart because many times he spends the night at the company which she learns through some staff their or sometimes even comes very late having the aroma of a woman perfume in his clothes and the alibi remain the same workload and client meetings.

Just when everything was going to be normal as he promised her that, "one week after, he will come back with completing the final step of reaching the top in business there will be no distance between them." she received this message. She was going to believe that yes her life also could be normal but no look-alike heaven has a different plan for her.

"What does it mean?" her thought came to a halt when the car stops and she was standing in front of the hotel, she didn't lose her vitality, "it's okay, nothing gonna happen."

She enters the Sunshine hotel and asks the receptionist for the way to room number 18XX. Completing the formalities, she makes her way to the elevator and presses the 18th floor. Reaching the floor it turns out to be a presidential suite, rummaging through the floor she comes outside room number 18XX, the door of the room wasn't locked. As she enters, she saw the clothes of men and women widespread on the floor making their way to the bedroom.

She hears the faint moans of the woman and man screaming; 'the voices seem familiar' she thought.

The moaning sound and screaming were heard clearer and were getting familiar as she was getting closer to the bedroom, a bad premonition arose in her heart.

She screams in her mind "NO!" "NO!" "That's not possible."

[But sometimes what we most wanted not to happen always takes place like heaven is playing a game to test you from time to time proving you are wrong.]
