Chapter 105: Peacefulness.

Qin Qianyu made it to the lab, and she quickly made a few calculations on the white board.

After doing so she pulled out the laptop and started running simulations again while she did a full analysis on the water that she had taken from the pond.

She then pulled out her notepad and started scribing away happily.

She did some comparisons and checks and the more she did, the more sure she became that she was on the right track.

Qin Qianyu decided against suppressing the radiation in Grandpa Wú. Instead, she'd feed it.

The idea came to her while she was with Bai Saan. Tigers like to sleep a lot. The foods they eat become the energy they need to hunt all over again. Then they repeat that process.

The energy stored in the formula that Qin Qianyu wanted to make will do just that.

It'll lay dormant inside Grandpa Wú, "sleeping" then when it's time to hunt it'll wake up and do so. And it's prey of choice. The radiation inside of Grandpa Wú.

She took some bloods that she had taken from Grandpa Wú and ran a series of tests.

This was showing positive results.

3 days passed since she arrived at the lab. But to Qin Qianyu it only felt like mere minutes. She would take the occasional break to check up on Bai Saan and Grandpa Wú, she practically lived at the lab otherwise.

On the fourth day in the lab, things there were coming to a close. She was close to finishing a working solution.

At that time, her concentration was broken by her phone ringing.

"Ah, Dad! . . "

Qin Qianyu answered the phone quickly.

"Hi dad,"

Qin Qianyu whispered, Qin Haoran heard this and apologised.

"Sorry Yu'er, did I call at the wrong time?"

"It's fine, as long as I don't speak too loudly. Is anything the matter?"

"I have you on speaker, your mother and I were just wondering how you were doing. It's been a while since you last called us, we just missed hearing your voice."

Qin Qianyu's heart warmed. She asked her parents to hold while she went to another place where she could talk properly.

Qin Qianyu walked quickly around the lab and checked the machines that were working hard for her. After which, she went through a series of doors and started the conversation over again in her normal voice.

"Sorry about that, it'll be really rude of me to disrupt others work."

"It's fine, we're both just glad to hear your voice. An official mail came today, it has SIC's markings all over it, it was really this and seeing it, that prompted us to call you."

The family spoke about everything and nothing in particular to each other. Qin Qianyu relayed that Bai Saan had been behaving himself.

She told them how she left him in the forest close to the city and would go and find for him on her breaks and he would promptly come to her fully refreshed and energised.

She spoke about some people she met, and also some not so good people too.

"Mhm, well it's good that you're staying away from them, but if they get too out of hand, then hit them with all you got! and we'll just worry about the consequences after, just protect yourself well okay."

Ouyang Zihan stated. This caused Qin Qianyu to chuckle loudly. Just hearing her mother speaking like this reminded her of Lu Mingxi.

"Don't worry mum, I don't think they'll be bothering me. I made my intentions clear that I want nothing to do with them."

"That's good. But be careful. There are a lot of strange people around."

The family spoke for a good hour before the call ended. Qin Qianyu soon found herself in a peaceful state of mind.

That didn't last long however. Alarms started ringing out. This surprised Qin Qianyu and she rushed back into the lab to see what was happening.

"It's done! . . Haha! . . It's finally done!"

Qin Qianyu ran to check the final product she spent some time on making. For three days straight of testing and readjustments to the the formula, she finally got it working.

The initial testing didn't fare to well at first. Then she recalled the "dream" she had with the Asura woman and the "gift" she had left her.

It was part of a broken compound formula but it stuck out to Qin Qianyu. She tried it and this was the results from its inclusion.

"Since the main ingredient is the pond water from the Asura temple, let's just call this the Asura elixir."

Qin Qianyu packed up everything in the lab. She checked and double checked to make sure she hadn't left or dropped anything important.

The last thing she did was derivative the formula that was on the whiteboard but made several corrections to it and added plenty of new information for the owner.

Qin Qianyu presumed it was the professor friend of Zhang Mi seeing as this was his personal Lab.

It was mid morning, and Qin Qianyu rushed back to the hotel room. Again she failed to feel those eyes on her. This time there were more people with the original two that had been keeping eyes on her.

Qin Qianyu paid no mind to her surroundings because she was focused on the elixir she now had in her possession.

Qin Qianyu entered the room and locked the door.

Next, she removed all of the needles she had placed on Grandpa Wú. She had been keeping him alive, just barely though. There were a few times she had to rush back from the lab to resuscitate him. But now, she doesn't have to worry any more.

She was so excited she forgot that he was now naked.

Qin Qianyu had removed his clothing 3 days ago when she used her needles to place Grandpa Wú in a needle induced coma.

She paid no mind to his nakedness and aptly covered him with the bed sheet.

Qin Qianyu then took her elixir and started feeding it to Grandpa Wú. Once it was empty, she started to check his pulse again.

Soon, a smile crept on her face. As her clinical trials had shown on the infected bloods in the lab, the same thing was happening inside of Grandpa Wú.

Qin Qianyu could sense the changes that were taking place within Grandpa Wú's body, and the excitement inside of her grew.

Then Qin Qianyu opened her eyes in fright. She looked down at the wrist she was holding to check out Grandpa Wú's body.

She only did so because she felt a slight tug of his skin coupled with the cracking bone. Soon after this, Grandpa Wú's entire body started twitching, cracking and spasming. Qin Qianyu pulled out her phone and started recording it as proof and to document the process taking place.

This scene shocked Qin Qianyu to the core. She quickly deduced that the Asura elixir wasn't just attacking the radiation inside of him, but every part of Grandpa Wú that was affected by the radiation.

After a matter of minutes, a stark naked young man lay on the bed. Qin Qianyu had watched the whole transformation herself.

Qin Qianyu couldn't believe it. She reached out gingerly with her hand but quickly recoiled her arm before she regathered her courage and went up to Grandpa Wú again, or rather Hot stuff Wú, and ran her finger tips not only over his face but his well defined and sculpted upper body.

The entire transformation process that took place within Wú Haodong was truly earth shattering.

Not only had he regained his youthfulness, but the body changes were utterly phenomenal.

His hair became black as the moonless night sky. It looked more vibrant as the outside sunlight hit it.

The way he looked with his eyes closed gave him a charming, pleasant to be around vibe.

His face was smooth and without blemishes, his brow, wrinkle free, his eyebrows thick and strong complimenting the shape of his face.

His nose broad yet sharp matching his chin and his skin was fair, with shades of pink showing because of the light.

In Qin Qianyu's eyes, he looked like an idol, a model, a marble sculpture made of flesh.

"The Asura elixir, it actually worked to such a degree!? . . . Wait! Does, . . does that mean my dream wasn't actually a dream!? . . The Asura realm really exists."

"But why does it feel like the formula for the elixir was always there in the back of my mind? It can't be that I already had the foundation for the elixir and it all fell into place just now."

Qin Qianyu continued looking, and checking out Wú Haodong's new body. As she held the sheet up while inspecting his body, her eyes instinctively went lower.

Her eyebrows raised and her lips scrunched up as her cheeks sucked in whilst she looked at him unabashedly. Qin Qianyu didn't even blink, blush or shy away, she admired it in fact.

"Ahem!"

A throaty sound came ringing in her ears as a hand came down and pulled the sheet down on his lower half causing Qin Qianyu eyes to show a hint of disappointment.

Qin Qianyu turned to see Hot stuff Wú was scowling at her. He cocked an eyebrow that begged to question, what on earth she was doing.

Qin Qianyu smiled, then in a very nonchalant manner, stated astutely.

"There seems to be no adversed side effects to your body, . . All . . of your body. So how do you feel? . . Are you okay?"

" . . . "

"It's a little chilly!"

After saying so, he went and massaged his throat. He was surprised. It was his voice but at the same time it wasn't.

Qin Qianyu saw the confusion on his face and handed him her own phone after turning on the front facing camera.

He took it from her and looked at himself.

"Is this a filter? . . "

"Nope, . . "

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive. This is the results of the elixir I made to counter the radiation."

" . . . "

"It's not me! . . I mean it is me but, it's me from a million years ago!"

Wú Haodong says as he stared at himself with wide eyes. He was truly gobsmacked. As he ran his free hand over and over his face, he couldn't help but mutter incoherently.

This new look of his started to frighten him a little. His concentration was broken by Qin Qianyu's voice

"Well then, at least you're guaranteed another million years!"

" . . . "

"It's not all bad, I mean, you still have your rooster hair!"

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu pointed to Wú Haodong's bed hair. It was exactly the same when he had met her at the airport still in his night clothes that time she went to the Capital and made those deals, and had a strange dream that then led to her encountering a backlash.

"How on earth could this happen? . . Why did it happen? . . How . . How long would it all last?"

Wú Haodong looked to Qin Qianyu for the answer. She cupped her chin in thought and stated,

"Well . . When you sleep, your head moves and the hair can get caught and pressed down. It'll last as long as you don't brush it!"

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu says while mimicking her words with body language.

Wú Haodong snorted to Qin Qianyu's attempt at comedy. She simply shrugged and replied,

"This is a big thing, I just wanted to break the ice a little, you know?"

"Hmm, alright, consider it broken. Xiaoyu, tell me, what happened?"

"I really don't know myself. It didn't occur to me that this would happen at all. Everything I did, I did with the intention of suppressing all of the radiation that's in you, as for all this, can we chalk it up to a happy after effect?"

"Happy!? . . How am I suppose to explain all of this to everyone!? . . No one would ever believe that I'm Wú Haodong! . . "

"In truth, Grandpa Wú is dead, he died, you're, well, you get to relive your new life over again. No wars! . . No invaders to hide from, you get a new lease on life! . . Wait! . . You don't have to be a single dog anymore either! You now have a chance to fall in love, have a family of your own! . . Hahaha! Isn't that great!?"

"No! . . No it's not! How is any of this great? . . How am I supposed to "young people" in this day and age? with my Dino mindset?"

Wú Haodong says in an aggrieved voice.

Qin Qianyu was trying to find a positive angle for all of this. She really wanted Grandpa Wú to be healthy and not suffer, but now it seems he's suffering in a different way.

She had no idea that the formula she created would lead to this unexpected result.

She then explained her hypothesis regarding the elixir.

"The formula I made hunts down the radiation inside of you. What I didn't take into account was the fact that it would aggressively hunt down all parts of you that are affected by the radiation."

"That coupled with the healing properties of all the other compounds I've added seemed to have caused your transformation."

"Sorry, it's all my fault. I thought, the formula would help suppress the radiation poisoning in you. I didn't expect it to reverse time."

" . . . "

Wú Haodong shook his head, as he was doing so he couldn't keep his hands of his body. He kept squeezing and rubbing here and there, he took a finger and poked his own pecks, he did the same with his abs then sighed.

Wú Haodong looked up at his disciple and just smiled. He could finally see the worried look she was trying to hide from him. He could tell that she had been working tirelessly for some time as well.

Although this new look is a bit frightening to him, he felt far better than he had ever been. He knew it was because he wasn't affected by the radiation.

All of this can only be attributed to the hard work that Qin Qianyu had put in. He realised that he may have gone overboard berating Qin Qianyu.

He reached out and took her hand in his.

"Thank you Xiaoyu. I'm well and truly grateful for what you've done for me. You've worked extremely hard, you truly are my best disciple."

Qin Qianyu's eyes started to well up, be it from the excitement of what had happened to him just now, or the lack of a proper nights rest, or the emotional storm taking place within her due to all of these factors, she just couldn't hold back anymore as she uttered out in a whining voice,

"I'm your only disciple!"

"Hahaha! . . Now you know? . . "

As Hot stuff Wú said so, Qin Qianyu wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his neck. He could feel her hot breath and warm tears on his body as she squeezed him hard.

"What's wrong now!? . . Aren't I fine? I'm not dead you know so stop being like this."

"Five, . . You've died five times while I've been trying to make this elixir for you. I've rushed back five times from the lab to revive you."

Wú Haodong was truly shocked. Qin Qianyu had been doing more than she should have for him. He squeezed her back tightly and let her cry to her hearts content.

After a few moments, Qin Qianyu had settled her emotional state and muttered out,

"I'll book you into the hospital, let's get you fully tested out. I need to know the extent the elixir has had on you and your body."

"I'll do as you say. But first, why are you here?"

" . . That was, Xiong Jianguo, your personal lawyer. He had schemed against me to take my place as your disciple."

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu explained the particulars to Wú Haodong and what had all transpired since meeting with Xiong Jianguo. Wú Haodong explained how he had found her thanks to the map he had taken when he had rescued Hao Zhiming.

"So my nose was right after all, it did smell the scent of betrayal."

"That's a single dog for you!"

" . . . "

"Haha! Don't scowl like that! . . It's way too sexy! It'll give me the urge to . . You know!"

Qin Qianyu quipped while raising her eyebrows rapidly at him twice in succession before she casts a glance lower down his body. Hot stuff Wú pursed his lips and quickly spat out,

"Stop it! . . You're only 15!"

"Pfft! . . Old man! I'm just like you! Young in body, mature of mind!"

Qin Qianyu says proudly, her chest pushed out as she tapped the side of temple with a finger.

"Have you always been this way? . . The lack of oxygen to your brain may have affected you a little. And why the hell am I naked in the first place!?"

Wú Haodong grumbled,

"It had to be done, I applied the Dragon sleeps on you, your clothes were restricting all of the needles I needed to insert into you."

"Haise! . . So where are my clothes,"

Qin Qianyu pointed to a corner. Wú Haodong looked and soon found a pile of ripped and torn rags.
