5 SHE REALLY BLACKLISTED HIM

Mo Zhouli finally started feeling anxious.

When Xin Weilin had refused to answer his calls last night, he had thought she was just throwing a tantrum and she would forgive him like she always did.

But now that he still couldn't reach her, he started to have doubts. Did Xin Weilin blacklist him?

No, she wouldn't dare.

Mo Zhouli calmed himself down and leisurely continued eating his breakfast. He got into his car and drove to Xin Weilin's apartment. On the way, Mo Zhouli tried calling her multiple times, but it still kept saying Xin Weilin was unreachable.

Mo Zhouli felt his heart sink as a forboding feeling came over him.

She really blacklisted him.

Unknown to Mo Zhouli, that wasn't the only surprise he was left with.

The first thing he noticed was the missing car in Xin Weilin's parking space. She would always park her car in the same spot.

The feeling of unease increased in Mo Zhouli. His tall and handsome figure, clad in a simple shirt and tailored black pants, black hair swept back, well chiseled features, exited the car in a hurry.

He was stopped by a middle-aged man whom he recognised to be the landlord.

"If you're looking for Xin Weilin, she has already moved out. She left not too long ago," Bao Jinhai, the landlord assumed Mo Zhouli was a friend of Xin Weilin's, since he often saw him.

Xin Weilin was one of his nicest tenants, she would always greet him when she saw him and ask about his family. She sometimes even brought him food from that restaurant of hers, so Bao Jinhai decided to be nice and warn him of Xin Weilin's absence, even though he rarely meddled in his tenants' business.

Mo Zhouli felt his heart sink, desperately hoping what Bao Jinhai said wasn't true. He ignored the landlord and made his way to Xin Weilin's apartment. He could tell something wasn't right the moment he stepped into the apartment.

Xin Weilin's room was empty, everything was gone except the furniture. He entered the guest room, it was the same. Apart from his things, there was no trace of Xin Weilin.

All Mo Zhouli's hopes dashed at that moment. She was really gone. All his hard work for the past few months, all gone.

How dare Xin Weilin just cut him off from her life? Who did she think she was?

His despair slowly started turning into anger. No, he wouldn't let her get away just like that. He would find Xin Weilin.

Whilst in a mansion far away, Xin Weilin was marveling at the sheer size of her new bedroom, her new house. She still felt as if she were in a dream, as if she would wake up and find herself in her previous life. Or perhaps her previous life had all been a dream she'd conjured up.

Whatever the case may be, Xin Weilin felt that getting married to Gu Xichen was the best outcome.

Her thoughts were interrupted by her ringtone, a song she had been obsessed with at the time. When she saw the name on the screen, Xin Weilin's eyes trembled as she clutched the phone tightly.

Song Fei... Her best friend. Song Fei had always been against her marriage with Mo Zhouli, and because of that they argued a lot. In her last life, Xin Weilin had cut all ties with Song Fei months after her marriage under Mo Zhouli's instigation. It was at the time she met Han Suli, and she befriended her, perhaps to fill in the void left by Song Fei.

Xin Weilin shook her head realizing how stupid she had been. Song Fei had been right. Her parents had been right. She was the only one who had been too foolish to realize the truth, she still went ahead with the wedding.

But no.

In this life, she wouldn't be so stupid, she wouldn't repeat the same mistakes. And she would start by making it up to Song Fei.

Song Fei...

It was then Xin Weilin realized she had completely forgotten about the call, the phone had long ceased to ring.

Xin Weilin immediately called back, heavily anticipating hearing Song Fei's voice again.

"I thought you were ignoring me," came Song Fei's sarcastic voice.

The tears Xin Weilin had been holding in slid down her face as soon as she heard Song Fei's voice. "Feifei..."

Song Fei could instantly tell Xin Weilin was crying, "What happened? Did that Zhouli guy bully you?"

Song Fei sounded fierce, like a mother protecting her child. Even though she was angry at Xin Weilin she still rushed to protect her at the slightest sense of danger. Xin Weilin felt warmed, yet she had thrown away this friendship in her previous life.

"No, I'm fine," Xin Weilin stabilized her emotions. "Why did you call?"

"Hmph," Song Fei snorted, "I'm sorry for disturbung you and your husband. Do you still have time to meet this friend yours?" Her tone of voice was sarcastic.

"Of course I have time."

They decided on a time and place to meet up the next day.

"Actually, Mo Zhouli..."

Xin Weilin started, but was interrupted by Song Fei, "Hmph I don't want to hear anything about your husband."

Then she hung up.

Xin Weilin didn't know whether to laugh or cry as she looked at the black screen. She had been trying to tell Song Fei that she didn't actually marry Mo Zhouli, but Song Fei did not let her speak.

Ehh, she'll find out tommorow.

After Xin Weilin was done cleaning up, she went to look for Gu Xichen, but instead she met with two strangers.

"So it is true, he really got married." The man who spoke handsome with beguiling eyes, straight nose, broad shoulders and a tall stature.

"Don't scare her brother." Standing beside him was an equally tall and beautiful girl.

Looking closely at the two, Xin Weilin realized they resembled Gu Xichen a little. They looked more like Zhou Lingsi.

As Xin Weilin examined the two, the twins also scrutinized this new sister-in-law of theirs that came out of nowhere.

The girl took the initiative to speak first. "Hello sister-in-law, I'm Gu Man. It's nice to meet you."

"Sister-in-law, I'm Gu Ren." The other boy also spoke, not wanting to be outdone by his sister.

Xin Weilin laughed, "It's nice to meet you too. I'm Xin Weilin."

"Who invited you guys to my house?" A cold voice came from behind, causing the twins to freeze in place.

They looked at each other, both echoing the same thought.

Uh oh
