1 Chapter One (Unedited)

She's back!

That's the first thing she thought after opening her eyes. She remembers this painful feeling, the feeling of being in pain physically and emotionally. She was hit by a car, had a miscarriage and was neglected by her husband. She will never forget this pain. She will never forget that while in coma her husband did not even set foot in the hospital where she was admitted but have the balls to send a divorce paper three days after she woke up. She clenched her fist.

That scumbag! See how I will deal with you this time around.

She tried getting up.

Ouch! Dammit!

She hates physical pain more than anything, just why in the world she needs to be reborn in this particular time. It could have been better if it was before she married that scumbag of a husband. She shook her head.

Never mind!

The door suddenly open and a woman at her fifties with a bit of white hair entered the room.

"Miss," she said with an obvious worried expression.

"Nanny Lynne," she whispered.

The old woman hurried over to her side and helped her get up. She whispered another thank you.

"Should I call the doctor? What are you feeling?" she asked after another.

"I'm in pain," she whined "but don't call the doctor. Can you peel some orange for me, Nanny Lynne?"

"Of course, of course!" after a while the old woman hand over the peeled oranges to her.

She slowly picked one "That man ... " she saw the old woman turned her head to look at her "did he...." She trailed off.

She knew, but somehow she still hoped that even just once, even just a minute he took some time to look at how she's doing. The old woman looked at her with helplessness and sympathy can be seen in her eyes.

"I know ..." she said softly and put the peeled orange on her mouth. "Do you know where my phone is, Nanny Lynne?"

"It's here."

"Thank you!" she mouthed. She started scanning her phonebook to look for someone's contact number. When she found it, she instantly dialed the number. It did not take long before a melodious voice greeted her.

"Hey there blockhead!" the man on the other line said.

"Hey yourself." She heard him chuckled.

"How you doin'?, how's married life?"

She sighed. How I wish I can tell you. All her friends and family members reside in Country Y and if she was not stupid enough to marry that man she won't be alone in this fricking place. If it was the old her she will definitely tell him that she's doing good, that she's happy. Well, she WAS happy. She married the man that she loved but not anymore.

"I was in a car accident." She uttered.

"I'm flying to country A." he answered hurriedly.

She smiled. She missed this feeling, the feeling of being cared by someone. She suddenly feels warm all over, when was the last time she felt this way? She can't even remember. She was married with him for five years but she never saw him showing any concern for her, even after she miscarried. And to think that it was his baby too. She shook her head, she don't have the spare time to think about all this. She lost her baby, yes, and someone has to take responsibility for it.

"Don't. I ... I am fine."

"No you're not."

"Please, Dean," she heard him sigh. "I have a favor to ask."

"Go for it."

"I need a lawyer."

"I'll send you his contact. Are you sure you're fine?"

"Uh-uh. Thank you! We'll talk later."

"Okay. Laters!" she hanged up.

She held her phone tightly. If she was not mistaken, three days from now that scumbag will send her a divorce paper and before that happen she will give him a big surprise.
