1 The Reincarnation

Nothing exists. There is complete darkness all around. The only thing present is empty space. Until...

*BOOM*

The Big Bang occurs. The universe starts expanding at speed much more than that of light. But just after 10 seconds, the universe ceases to exist.

*BOOM*

Another Big Bang. Another expansion. Another destruction. This has been going on for the last 200 million years. The battle between the King of the Dragons, Ragnak and the Guardian of the Throne, The One. Each time their fists collide, the energy released is so much that it leads not only to the creation, but also the destruction of the universe. The Celestial Beings watched in utter shock as Ragnak takes the destructive attacks of The One, a being said to be ever powerful, nigh omnipotent.

"Why are you doing this, my Lord?" The King asked The One while sparring.

"You are asking ME? Do not forget, Ragnak, it was YOU who is behind the destruction of so many lives. And now, because of your ever growing power, you are trying to take control of the Throne of Might? You know how big of a sin it would be? The Throne would punish every being alive if someone tries to take control of it. It is the Throne for the entity that can take charge of the different universes. If anyone unworthy sits on it, it may cause a mishap!"

"Like creation, destruction is necessary too! I destroy things to create new ones. It is to maintain balance! You have been blinded by the Supremes, my Lord. They fear that I might overthrow their position and hence want to eliminate me. Your kind heart has been man-"

"SHUT UP, RAGNAK!" The One exclaimed in anger. "The Supremes can NEVER lie to me. They are my students and they respect me!"

Ragnak remained silent. He knew it would be futile to argue. His Lord's heart was too pure to notice the lie in the talk of the Supremes. *BAM* Another of his Lord's attacks hit him. He looked at the Supremes. They were staring at him getting beaten with coldness in their eyes and smiles on their faces.

Ragnak knew it. That it would someday happen. They would try to eliminate him so that they could maintain their position as the Supreme Rulers. But why? They were not like this, but their personalities changed nearly a billion years ago.

"Now Ragnak..." The One said, "It's time... You have been weakened enough for you to be sealed."

Ragnak widened his eyes. "To be sealed? What does that means, my Lord?!"

"I SHALL SEAL YOU FOR AN ETERNITY, UNTIL YOUR SOUL CHANGES YOUR BODY AND YOUR MEMORIES FADE. YOU SHALL TAKE BIRTH AS A DIFFERENT CREATURE!"

"But what about my kingdom?!" Ragnak countered.

A voice came from light years away.

"We will take care of them." Said one of the 22 Supremes standing there.

Ragnak looked doubtful. He knew there was something behind that line. How are they gonna take care of Dragons? And why would they do this? Even if he is sealed here, there will be one Dragon out of the 88 universe big kingdom of Dragons that would rise for revenge. Dragons have potential far greater than 99% of creatures, so the only way to stop them will be to kill them.... To kill them...?

Ragnak realised this, but it was too late. Before he could say something, he was entrapped in a huge cube.

"Stay there for an eternity, Ragnak. Any of your powers won't work inside the Cube. It is made out of Cursanium, the same material that makes up the Throne and can nullify anything. May your soul be cleansed and you may return as a pure being."

Billions of years later...

The day is full with crowd walking around, a busy street. It's market day! The shops and stores sell goods at a much less price than they normally do. The people are roaming, the trucks are honking, the vendors shouting.

*BOOM*

Suddenly, on an overhead bridge, a monster appears. It was a large, black, hairy bat type monster.

"Emergency! Emergency! People of Fourth Avenue are requested to empty the streets as soon as possible. We are under attack by a Tier 4 class monster. I repeat, empty the streets as soon as possible"

The people started running around in horror. The monster screeched. It's sharp teeth were ready to devour flesh. The teeths were sharp until a bomb landed inside it's mouth and exploded, causing many of it's teeth to break.

It was a snipersniper standing on the top of a 10 floored building nearby. His had the magic ability to turn his arm into any kind of shorting machine, and this time it was a mere slingshot with a bomb which he carried around.

"Good aim, Zack. Looks like the monster was shocked. But pretty lame though." Another one commented.

"It was lame because it was so weak, Lyla. But at least I stopped that annoying screech." Zack the sniper said.

"Well it would have been a lot more effective if I would have used my slicing to cut off his lower jaw." Lyla said.

"What are you guys blabbering about?" A voice came from behind them.

"Just discussing. Zack doesn't knows how powerful slicing can be."

"Well let me try to show you Lyla how much better I can shoot than the last time. Watch how I kill the monster."

"What monster?" The voice from behind said.

"Tha-" Zack was about to say, when the person standing behind extended his right arm and flicked. The force of the flick was so strong that it hit the monster and the monster exploded, dead.

"JIMMY! It was my target!" Zack exclaimed.

"Early bird gets the worm!" Jimmy said.

The police started navigating the body of the bat monster. The place of impact was so much that the internal organs of the monster were obliterated.

"Who in the right mind could cause such force without physically touching?" They thought.

Meanwhile the trio, Jimmy, Zach and Lyla were walking out of the scene. They were a part of the Secret Heroes Guild, a group which hires people with supernatural powers to help and protects the weak.

"Man you stole another kill from us. What are you, a God?" Lyla complained.

"I don't know about God. But I surely felt different from others since I was born. I feel like I don't belong to this world, like I am a higher deity." Jimmy said.

"How much more are you gonna praise yourself?" Zach mocked.

"Hehe."

While walking, the trip encountered another man. He was standing in front of them, just staring at them with a blind look.

Zack, who had his hands behind his head, raises his eyebrow in question. Lyla was standing with hands in her pocket, and she didn't care if he was looking at them. Jimmy, standing simply, however was more confused. As the person standing in front of him was constantly staring at him.

The expression on the man's face was blank one moment, and another moment, it felt filled with joy. He started running towards the trio.

"H- hey does he wanna fight?" Zack questioned.

"I'mma slice him up." Said Lyla.

The man dived and knelt before Jimmy. He placed his arms on the ground and lowered his head, expressing immense respect.

"L- LORD RAGNAK!! I FINALLY FOUND YOU!!!" The man exclaimed in joy.

Jimmy was confused. And so were the other two.

"Where have you been, my Lord?!" The man said with a shine in his eyes.

Jimmy looked at Zach. The at Lyla. Then he pointed at himself.

The man jumped and grabbed Jimmy's leg.

"YES MY LORD! Yes, I have been searching for you, the KING OF THE DRAGONS!"

Jimmy was weirded out by the man's action. He stepped back and little and raised his leg, along with the man, without effort and started shaking his leg get the man off.

After a while, the man himself got off.

"Sheesh, you are weird." Jimmy said. "Who are you, and why were you searching for me?"

"Huh? You don't remember me..... " He sat in a corner in sadness. "My Lord doesn't remembers me..... Wait. You must have forgotten!" He got cheered up again.

"You can change emotions so quickly. What are you?" Zach said.

"Well, my name is Byreus, and I am the assassin servant serving the Kingdom of Dragons which is ruled by Lord Ragnak, or here on earth, Lord Jimmy!"

While they were talking, there was a crowd to see the corpse of the dead bat monster. Realising this place isn't the best to talk, Lyla asked the rest three to move to a place with more space.

They walked to a coffee shop nearby. On the way too, Byreus was continuously smiling at Jimmy. "What a weird guy... " Jimmy thought.

Meanwhile on the other side of Earth...

The sea was calm. There was no disturbance in the water. This was the Galafic Ocean, the biggest water body on earth that connects the North and South Pole. No ships, no fishes.

The sun slowly started setting. The orange light spread through the place where the sea and sky meet, the horizon. It depicted a beautiful scenery, with the lights and the water and the clouds. If one would see this with his own eyes, they would feel more peaceful than they ever had.

But this scenery was not long lived.

Suddenly, from inside the water emerged four big mountain like rock pillars, forming a square. They kept getting taller and taller. After a while, land emerged from the inside. Rocks, black grass and flowers, red ponds. In no time, a majestic island was formed with four big pillars on it's either corners.

This was immediately noticed by one of the reporter the Secret Heroes Guild. The news was directed to the base.

The main base of the guild was on another island, called the Brave Hand. It was an island with no sleep. People worked night and day, as the world isn't small to take care of. There were white flags with an orange symbol on it. The symbol was that of a hand, as in representing the shape of the island, with its fingers spread out. There were large monuments and also statues of the heroes who contributed when the whole world was threatened.

As soon as the report was received by the base, an urgent meeting was held, the directors held an urgent meeting. They were seated on chairs in a black room lit with just one light lamp in the middle. There were various notes hanging on the walls, and no windows.

Morston - You would have got the reports... What do you think about this?

Claymore - What could we, Mr. Morston? We have never seen such activities in Galafic. This ocean is known for the peace of its waters. Something like this isn't normal at all.

Thompson - Our branch in the North Sento held a research camp on the ocean, more than 80 years ago. But we didn't found even a single hint of the four big pillars.

Morston - Hmm.... What do you think, Mr. Emphess?

(A noise comes from the darkness. Two eyes could be seen, then they became four. The directors were startled.)

Emphess - I am sorry, gentlemen. If it was not because of my fatal weakness of light, I would have talked to you openly. But according to me, this situation is serious. Ever since we started this guild 318 years ago, we witnessed several different cases. But nothing was like a creation of a landscape this suddenly.

Claymore - What are you trying to say, Mr. Emphess?

Emphess - We are calling the Higher Order Heroes.
