Quality beginning to this story. Very well-written with a vibrant cast of characters, interesting powers and a well-defined fictional universe for them to inhabit. Grabs the reader's attention right from the first chapter as a young woman is hunted through the woods for a token she is carrying, apparently being killed, only then to find herself reawakened in the body of a teenager and swearing vengeance for what happened. Prose is smooth and dialogue flows naturally. Recommended reading!
