42 Chapter 42 Land of Amyrstal

Ethaan wasn't surprised by Althea's question. Whatever Althea wanted to know he will tell her all honestly he doesn't have any intention of hiding anything from her. Ethaan gave a smile and said, "It's called the Land of Amyrstal. It's a hundred times bigger than the Land of Dura"

'hundred times bigger than the land of Dura!', Althea was shocked inside though she maintained a calm demeanor on the outside. The land of Dura is also considered a vast continent and to think that another plane that is a hundred times bigger than the land of Dura exists made Althea think of the land of Amyrstal in a different light. Althea didn't dare to think about the power division in the land of Amyrstal. 

"Land of Amyrstal", Althea softly murmured.

Ethaan was patiently waiting for Althea to question him more about the land of Amyrstal but after waiting for a while, he noticed that Althea didn't have any intention to question him further which puzzled Ethaan. He raised his brows and asked Althea, "You don't want to know more about the land of Amyrstal?"

Althea shook her head, "It's not that I don't want to know but for now I don't want to know much about the land of Amyrstal. My priority now is to get stronger and stabilize my foundation. I don't want to be pressured by that information for now and get anxious. It's good to have pressure but sometimes it can also become a burden and form a heart demon. When the time is right, I will eventually come to know about it"

Ethaan nodded his head in agreement. He didn't say anything further, whatever she wanted to know he will tell her, whatever she doesn't want to know he won't utter a word of it. Sometimes curiosity can kill a cat and Ethaan knows this very well. 

After finishing the meal, Ethaan asked, "What do you plan to do next?". He knew that Althea's visit to the Baro clan is not simple. 

"It's been a month since we left the Alfing city. The southern kingdom and the Beast Tamer Organisation is brewing something and I have to go back to warn my father and do enough preparation for it. We will leave in two days, I have decided", said Althea.

"if I am not mistaken, the whole of the southern region including the Southern kingdom is under the jurisdiction of Rainbow cloud Academy and both the Beast Tamer Organisation and Rainbow Cloud Academy is the first-rated powerhouse. It won't do any good if both of them clashes, instead it will pave way for other powerhouses to stand above them, so why is the Beast Tamer Organisation poking their noses in others territory?", asked Ethaan, he knows very well the workings of the first rated powerhouses. No matter the place or realm, the greed for power, strength, wealth and beauty remains the same. 

If Althea didn't get the news of the void scepter from her grandfather, she too would be confused like Ethaan wondering why the Beast Tamer organization would be allied with the southern kingdom. This is a declaration of war against the Rainbow Cloud Academy. 

"It's because the Southern King handed the 'void scepter' to The Beast Tamer Organization", Althea cleared Ethaan's doubts.

When Ethaan heard the name of 'void scepter' his pupils constricted. Althea didn't miss the change in Ethan's eyes. "You know about the void scepter too!", asked Althea with a surprise.

Ethaan didn't answer but instead questioned Althea, "Do you know what this void scepter is?"

In front of Ethaan, Althea didn't need to hide anything, she nodded and said "The void scepter is the key to enter the Ancient Beast Realm. For five thousand years, the Ancient Beast Realm remained closed because the void scepter was missing. I just didn't think that the something like void scepter would be in the hands of the southern king"

"Since the Beast Tamer Organisation wants to take over the southern region from the Rainbow Cloud Academy, you are suspecting that the Entrance to the Ancient Beast Realm is inside the Southern Region!", Ethaan had figured out too. 

Althea wasn't surprised, "Yes, the void scepter and the Ancient Beast Realm is something the Beast Tamer Organisation had always wanted to get their hands on ever since their establishment. They place great importance on it so it's not surprising that they would go against the Rainbow Cloud Academy for the sake of it. Besides, if they were able to enter the Ancient Beast Realm, their strength and resources would be upgraded too which will make them stand a step higher than the other four great powers of the land of Dura"

"So, do you think they are taking a gamble!", asked Ethaan.

"If they win this gamble, not only the southern region will become the jurisdiction of Beast Tamer Organisation but they will also emerge as the biggest and strongest powerhouse in the land of Dura. However the risk is too high, the Beast Tamer Organisation would never gamble if they don't have the slightest confidence in it. What I don't understand is the source of their confidence, as the former sovereign of the hall of Mage, I know very well the insides and outsides of all the five great powers of the land of Dura. If both the Rainbow Cloud Academy and the Beast Tamer Organisation truly went against each other, the latter will be slightly at a disadvantage", Althea said with a frown. 

She had thought about it a lot but she couldn't seem to find out where the Beast Tamer Organisation got the confidence to face the Rainbow Cloud Academy. Besides, she didn't believe that the Rainbow Cloud Academy is unaware of the things Beast Tamer Organisation is doing in their jurisdiction. But why are both the forces acting like nothing is going on till now? Given the temper of the President of the Rainbow Cloud Academy, he could have already flown into a rage and declare war against the Beast Tamer Organisation for meddling in the affairs of the southern region.

While Althea was lost in her thoughts about it, Ethaan on the other hand was also contemplating deeply. Both of them were silent for a while until Ethaan break the silence, " The Ancient Beast Realm can be open with Void Scepter, this is what the ancient records say but aside from the void scepter, there is one more thing which is needed to open the realm"

Althea raised her head and looked at Ethaan. All the things she knew about the Beast Tamer come from the books and ancient records she had read, she was a little surprised with what Ethaan just said. It seems Ethaan knew more than her, "what is the other thing?"
