29 Chapter 29 Handwritten Records

"what do you want to request? As long as it is within my power I can fulfill anything for you", said Hruth Baro

"Grandfather, can you grant me access to the Baro clan's library…. the third floor", without holding back Althea blurted out.

Hruth Baro was slightly taken aback by Althea's sudden request because the third floor of the Baro clan's library is not a place where anyone can access it whenever they want. But without any hesitation Truth took out a black seal and handed it to Althea. "here, with this seal, you can go to the third floor of the library"

Althea was very satisfied with her grandfather's attitude. He didn't question the reason behind why she wanted to go to the third floor of the library besides it also showed that her grandfather trusted her.

"thank you, grandfather, I will return the seal tomorrow", said Althea taking the seal from Hruth Baro.

Hruth Baro waved his hand, "you can return anytime you want"

Althea nodded her head and went towards the library. The reason why she wanted to go to the third floor of the library is to check on books related to the Beast Tamers. Since she also possesses the Golden spirit light she can be a Beast Tamer too so she was eager to find out more about Beast Taming and besides she wanted to check out the history regarding the Void Scepter and the Entrance to the Ancient Beast Realm. This information can only be found on the third floor of the library because the Baro clan had kept all the valuable ancient records on the third floor and is strictly guarded. With the long-standing history of the Baro clan, they had accumulated many ancient records and scripts.

"Halt! No one is allowed to trespass the third floor without the Clan Leader's permission", a guard quickly stood on the way to the third floor.

Althea took out the black seal given by Truth and showed the guard.

The guard recognized the seal and after glancing at Althea he quickly moved away without saying anything.

After entering the third floor, Althea quickly went towards the Beast Tamer section. After searching for a while she didn't come across any records related to Void Scepter and Ancient Beast Realm. Even though Althea didn't have much expectation from before but it still disappointed her. But after thinking that this is the Southern region and not the central region she sighed and smiled bitterly. How could she forget that she had read all the books related to Beast Tamer in the library of the Hall of Mage but she didn't come across anything related to Void Scepter and the Ancient Beast Realm? If a big powerhouse like the Hall of Mage didn't have it then how can a small clan like Baro Clan have it!

Picking up some thesis written by Divine Level Beast Tamer, Althea sat down to read it. Even though she had read almost all the books related to Beast Tamer in her past life she had only come across some thesis handwritten by experts so even though she didn't get what she was looking for, Althea was surprised to find some ancient handwritten records.

The handwritten records can be very useful to Althea since her cultivation is at the third stage of the low level, a time when she can build her foundation. After spending the whole day reading, Althea left the library only when the sky turned dark and excitedly went back to the courtyard where she and her mother is currently staying.

Seeing that Althea was back, Furiana who was waiting for her let out a sigh of relief, "you spent the whole day at the library. Quickly wash up, you must be hungry, Mother will bring you food"

Noticing how worried Furiana was Althea didn't say anything and only nodded her head.

After washing up, Althea sat down near the table, and glancing at the food Althea noticed that there were different kinds of dishes made of spiritual beast meat on the table.

Furiana noticing her gaze smiled and explained, "Your grandfather knows that you are now at the third stage of low level so he especially ordered the cooks to prepared dishes made of spiritual meat which can aid you in your cultivation and also nurse your health"

Althea didn't conceal her cultivation so Hruth might have noticed it even though she didn't tell him. "I'll thank grandfather tomorrow"

'En', Furiana nodded.

After eating the food to her fill, Althea got up and went to bed.

Inside the room, Althea didn't sleep but sat on the bed and circulated her spiritual energy to digest the spiritual meat. After half an hour Althea took out the Reinvigorating pill and swallowed it. Even though her spirit seed was miraculously healed after the strange incident that day, it was yet to be healed completely. Althea had racked her brains a lot thinking about how her spirit seed was healing at a rapid speed that day but no matter how much she thinks of it, she couldn't find any possible answers so she just decided to leave it aside this matter for a while.

Althea cultivated the whole night, comparing to before, now her spirit seed can smoothly absorb the spiritual energy of Heaven and Earth. Though it can't be compared to how the normal spirit seed can absorb, there was drastic change when compared to before when Althea could only absorb only one percent of the spiritual energy.

The next day at the dining table Althea looked at her mother and grandfather and said, "Mother, Grandfather, I want to go the back of the mountain to train"

Immediately after Althea said this, both Furiana and Hruth Baro shouted out in unison, "No"

Althea had already expected this outcome but she understood their concern. Because of the Beast incident, last time left a big shadow on her family.

"Mother, Grandfather, you don't need to worry about me. I am not as weak as before, now I am already at the third stage and besides, I won't venture deep inside the mountain. I promised that I will only train on the outer edges of the hollow mountain range", Althea hurriedly explained

"But..", Furiana was about to persuade Althea when Hruth suddenly patted on her shoulder

"To get stronger one must not only raise the cultivation levels but should also have actual combat experiences and go through life and death situations. I was worried at first and hastily said no but when I think about it again, there shouldn't be any problem if Althea just trained at the rear of the hollow mountain range", said Hruth

Althea nodded, "yes, what grandfather said is right. I need actual combat experiences. Mother shouldn't worry about me I will not go deep inside the mountain"

After persuading her Mother, Althea decided to head out immediately. The main reason why she wanted to go to the hollow mountain range is not for combat experiences but to try out Beast Taming. After reading the handwritten records the previous day Althea had gained many insights so she couldn't wait to try out. Although she couldn't be able to tame the beast of higher ranks, she could try it on low-level beasts.

"After investigating your subordinate had found out that something did happen inside the Baro clan two months ago", said the Black guard with his one knee on the floor.

The man in masked who was enjoying a cup of tea suddenly stop and said, "Get up and tell me in detail about it"

"Yes, My Lord", said the Black guard.

After listening to the whole incident, the man in masked curled his lips, "Found you"
