A smile so brilliant formed on my face "Vanessa, if I didn't know better I might think you are stalking me with the amount of time we keep running into each other recently." That successfully took her attention off Adrian who quickly kept the receipt and card in his pocket. 

"What nonsense, it's just coincidence. I guess we are best friends after all" She said with a giggle. 

"Really? If you say so" I also got up from my seat since we were done with breakfast. She turned back to face Adrian and said, 

"What have you guys been up too? Would you mind staying for a ch-" 

"I am sorry but we have to go, we have so much work waiting for us back at the company but it was nice running into you today. Have a great day" I cut her off before she could have the chance to invite us to stay, she probably wanted only Adrian staying back. With a kiss blown her way, I turned to Adrian, 

"Come on Adrian" I said tugging on his arm.
