5 Chapter 5 (Demonic God)
The Knight had smelled something he hadn't for many, many years, life. He could hear animals which weren't demons attacking.
He opened his eyes to see life and light and all that he dreamed of before, but he didn't cry, this made him mad because how much he wished he could cry out of joy.
He was on grass and dirt, which felt amazing under his hands. He looked around and saw a person, they looked pretty small but had pointy ears, this amazed the Knight as only elfs and orcs had pointy ears, but they were all 8 feet plus as adults, which this person looked
"Hallo."
"AAH!"
Janette was exeptional woman, ever since she was a child she was very gifted at cultivation, now she went to a prestigious school of the cultivation arts. This school had not only great medicines and different techniques but also areas of life and rivers and lakes, after all it was made to cultivate cultivators.
She had went to bathe in the females pure blue lake, which was a lake near many fruit trees and aided with calming and regenerating.
Finally peace and quiet, these are the words through her mind, Janette had been overworking in school and finally let herself relax, then of course she opened her eyes to see an at least seven feet tall demon with demonic horns and looking her straight in the eyes, this enormous muscly figure shook her to the core, and then
"Hallo"
"AAH!"
Janette fainted
"Oh my, I am still wearing this demon skull and demon leather cape, this tiny woman needs assistance now."
The Knight put his shirt on the maiden and rested her under the tree, then he noticed fruits, so he ate all of the fruits on the tree and all the trees in the vicinity, he also spotted a poor rabbit and ate it using a controlled fire breathing spell.
"W-who and w-what are you?"
"I am Jin, a great Knight! Who and what are you besides a uh, fair maiden."
The Knight shot Janette a wink, hoping that after many years he was still attractive by the worlds standards
"I'm Janette, a cultivator and mostly human. I'll ask again, what are you." As Janette said this the Knight could see that she had began circulating her power
"Uh, I am also a cultivator and a human, but you are no human, you're an elf, look at your pointy ears! But I don't know why you're so small..."
Janette had gotten curious and wondered what was up with this man, and she looked and saw he had round ears.
"What era are you from 'human'?"
"I was about, 22 or 25 years old before I-? What do you mean what year? And where am I?"
Now Janette had a revelation; this man must be a resurrected undead from the past, an actual purebred human.
"You are in a school for cultivators right now. What animals skull was on your head, and what am I wearing? It is practically like bathing in demonic energy."
"Well, haha, that is a cape I made from a demon-skin. The skull was also a great demon general."
Janette had freaked and nearly ripped it off, then remembered she had nothing underneath, which had actually been forgotten
"Uh, I'll be right back, don't talk to anyone else or go anywhere till I get back!"
Janette scurried away
"Okay haha.."
As soon as her presence was gone the Knight ran the other way, there was no way he wasn't gonna stuff his gullet now, for normal people he was gone in less than a blink of an eye, after a few miles he came to a fence which he leaped over with great strength, he went into a sort of town and saw vendors selling their goods, sweets, he noticed how small everyone was and remebered the girl's reaction, so he used a transforming spell he learned from Daez, to become a little old man that resembled the woman he saw at the lake
He walked up to the stall that had some sort of sweet,
"Hello young miss, can you perhaps spare a sweet for this old man?"
The woman turned to him and her face seemed to be disgusted
(Maybe she hates old people, or men)
"You old pitiful impure.."
The woman threw a sweet at the ground by the old man's feet, when it disappeared
"Wha?"
She had a suprised look at her face and looked around with no sign of it, just an old begger walking away
(Yummmmmmmm... This taste better than any disgusting demon... Oh my...)
The Knight transformed was experiencing bliss, and while distracted he ended up walking into a crowd
(Huh?)
There were many people cheering for a short red elf walking by, the Knight wondered why so he walked up to the short red elf
"Why do they cheer for you young one?"
The elf looked to see an old man
"You impure scum, what makes you think you can talk to a prestigous man such as myself?"
"I guess it isn't for you being a hero haha.."
The elf turned to him as though the old man had just turned copper to gold, then he unsheathed his sword and swung it down upon the old man's head
The crowd had cheered when they saw him bringing down his sword, but the instant the sword had seemed to make contact, in a flash of light the old man was gone and a monster was behind the elf holding him up by the back of his neck and holding the man's own sword to his neck
The crowd went silent, fearing a reaction would cause this monster to go on a rampage
The monster they saw had moved the elf close to his mouth
In a hushed voice the Knight asked the elf
"So why do they cheer for you, runt."
The elf was 6'8", and was of a nobler less mixed breed than that of even guards at the great palace.
And in an instant, the monster was gone as though nothing had happened
It was obvious to the Knight he did not belong in this world, everyone had looked at him like a monster in this world.
[First Mission Completed]
"Hello great and mighty Demonic God! You have used my blessing well, but I see you are left bored already, do you wish for new importance?"
"Great Diety! I do, what may I do in return? I don't think I belong in this wretched world which has no freedom."
[Contract Loading]
"Little human, I sense your Knight's pride overrules your malicious cravings, I will grant you the ability to right the wrongs in this world, the way you want it to be done. I know you do not want to interfere in this world you don't belong."
"Thank you great diety, please do grant me the ability."
[Contract Made]
