4 Chapter 4 (Devil Realm)

A year had passed now, this was a year of nearly constant fighting and traveling, the demons were larger than elves with thick skin but only had their bodies as weapons, there was no food in this world but killing demons would sustain the fours bodies as well as give them more power, more than the beasts in the normal realm anyways.

They had learned the elfs name was Daez who hailed from the Blue Lake Highlands, and everyone had treated eachother like family

"We have been traveling for a year now, with not so much as a hint of escaping this realm."

Torg had been losing hope for a while as had the others

"Big Brother haven't you noticed? The demons we fight have been growing stronger significantly as we journey, surely this is a good sign." The Knight had been reassuring himself as well with these words.

"That is true Knight, we must be nearing a gate or something, at least going in the correct direction."

"I miss food, I am tempted to try some demon that the elf used fire on to be honest." Gréz said this while rubbing his tummy, which was thick skin and hard muscle

The four journeyed on, as the years went by the four became like family, and Gréz did end up trying demon which was, unsatisfactory. Their power had grown to feats they would have thought impossible before and none had aged though spending decades in this world.

"Hey guys, wanna, settle for a while? I know I wanted to make it back so much, but maybe this doesn't have to be so bad?"

This was the first time anyone had made mention of settling and it was the last they expected, Torg, but they all agreed, they built a house from the rough black stone which the ground was made of.

The four had afterall been traveling for decades and not seen an exit, they slowly built more and more as they stayed, going out to kill demons often enough to grow in power as well as nourish themselves and built a large town as centuries passed.

"Hey Jin, I think Gréz is messing with your statue again."

The four had all made large statues of themselves which were very large, Torg made his about three times as tall as the others though.

The Knight left the throne of demon bones he sat in to check it out, and he saw Gréz writing on a condensed stone slab that he placed

"Hey Brother Gréz whatcha doin there?"

Gréz looked to the Knight and jumped over the fence which was thirty feet away from the statue

"What the-"

The plate read: Servant of Gréz the Great

"Whatever"

This eventually lead to contest, from little slabs to the Knight locking a bunch of demons in Gréz's room for when he went into it, to Gréz building an entire dome around the Knight's kingdom, Daez and Torg liked their reactions and pranks and often just laughed from the sidelines

More centuries went by and the kingdom had grown very large, of course older areas weren't went back to as they continued to travel and hone their skills, not only them but their weapons had gotten more powerful, they had also learned eachothers skills.

One day the Knight woke up and searched for a few hours for his friends, he went into a building which was not there when he went to sleep and it was his three friends

"What are you guys doing in here?"

"Jin, we don't want to do this anymore."

"Do what? Live? We're family, think it over."

"Little brother, we're hundreds of years old now, I don't think I can do this anymore, I don't even remember what my mother looks like, or her voice.." Torg's voice began to shake

The four began to cry

"Little Knight Brother, my days with you have been the funnest in my life, we have decided we would and could not do this longer. Can you?" Gréz had sincerity and tears in his eyes

"I-I can, please don't leave me to do it on my own." The Knight fell to his knees and hit the ground, shaking and breaking the rock."

"Jin, if we leave, will you continue?"

"I will."

"Then, I promise to meet you again in my next life when I am reborn." The elf layed down her bracelet

"As will I brother." Gréz placed his gauntlet and scimitar down

"Me too little brother." Torg placed his hammer and crescent blade down

"Jin, you know the rules of this world, please send us off and absorb our strength, in this way I will still be with you and aid you in your journey."

As hundreds of thousands of years past, the Knight had continued his journey, he had crafted new skills with his weapons and mastered much other as well, ruins could be found and every many years new terrain was found, he had mastered the way of alchemzdx. The weapons he used had been stained with blood and had grown with him in power, his armor skill now gave his skin a black gold glowing shine.

A horde of millions of demons charged the Knight, who had worn the skull of a demon and a cape made of black demon leather. These which charged had been different in many ways, some on two legs, some four, some eight, a black golden glow encased the Knight, he raised both hands with incantation and released a white glow which resembled the sun in bright light, a spear stabbed through a demon and became a red cold spear, the tempurature miles around changed and the air was dry, as it stabbed demons it got more and more powerful and it's deep red hue grew.

Demons around caught up with the Knight and attacked from different sides with snarls and deep growls, the Knight had slashed different demons removing the top from the bottom of the body at the center of the hearts, which demons had two of.

The fight went on for an entire year, which was not very long for the Knight anymore, as when he fought he was in a different state of mind.

After the battle the Knight stacked up all the demons and sat on the pile to begin cultivation, despite the lack of basically any power in the atmosphere the Knight had mastered the art of cultivating which he found a tome of in the ruins, in his life before for a commoner like him cultivating was too difficult to master and the only way to get power was defeating other creatures.

Now millions if not trillions of years went by, the Knight had given up hope long ago but fought out of pure malice, when suddenly everything was enveloped in light
