1 Beginning

I wake up and look towards my brother "if you want to be a warrior you will have to wake when I do or you'll surely die to an assassin like me you know that right Zero?"

I rise out of bed "I know that but I like my sleep Infinite." I start getting dressed my brother heads downstairs his weirdly shaped golden eyes piercing me as he leaves almost like he's threatening to kill me if I go back to sleep.

When I get downstairs I noticed how empty our house has become I then remembered what happened a few days ago…

~flashback 2 weeks ago

There was a haunting thud "Mom!" I practically teleported down stairs how fast I was going Zero followed I would be holding our mom.

"My sons Zero, Infinite I have some truth to tell you. You have different fathers." Eyes would widen. "Go to Starcross Academy and get stronger go on adventures make friends and most importantly have fun and once your ready and not second sooner find your fathers and take your rightful places."

"Mother who are our fathers?" I would say my voice trembling.

"Infinite you are the son of hades that is why it's so easy for you to kill and you never quiver in the face of death. Zero you are the son of Zeus himself that's why you long for battle and a glorious end. Don't seek them out until your strong enough to kill them!"

After this our mother would die no amount of our cry's would bring her back there would then be a golden beam of light as it would shoot to the sky my eyes would then change into that of an infinity symbol as I looked at the pillar of light and my brother would grow wings as dark as the night.

I had started doing 2 finger pushups when Zero walked down the stairs fully dressed he would join me him doing 1 finger pushups we would do this until sunrise I would stop "You ready."

I would stand up and grab my sword and gloves off the table attaching my sword to my waist and tightening my gloves I would say "let's go Infinite."

I would grab a jerry can spilling gasoline everywhere and then light a match the house will catch flame and as we walked each step we took reminded us of our childhood a different memory but as we left the threshold of the front door we both saw an image of our dead mother smiling.

We would be on the road for hours neither of us saying a word I would bring something up "hey infinite how about we use fake names." infinite's eyebrow was raised I would then continue "how about I call you Fin short for Infinite and you can call me Ero short for Zero.

"Ok brother if that's what you want but anyway I sense a small village up ahead I will go scout and we can Rendezvous later."

We would smile at each other both of smiles being fake and both of us knowing it. "Come back soon Fin."
