20 Chapter 20. Obituary

Right now Xiao An Na was thinking about nothing but ending her life. She had no one else in this world.

The very sunny weather suddenly turned cloudy.

The clear sky was covered by very black clouds. The wind was blowing very hard.

Lightning flashed and filled the sky, creating an intense roar.

The extreme weather changes make anyone feel shocked and scared at the same time.

Even the two maids following Xiao An Na were afraid to continue on their way.

Being in the middle of the forest, the two maids found it difficult to catch up with Miss Xiao An Na, the strong wind blew away the dust and dry leaves, distracting their view.

Tree branches fell and broke due to the enormous air pressure.

"Where did the girl go?" shouted one of the maids, the man clinging to a nearby tree trunk, one hand still holding the cloth bag containing Miss Xiao An Na's clothes.

The other maids didn't respond, he even found it a little difficult to breathe.

The strong wind didn't stop, and the two maids moved with difficulty to catch up to the Mistress of the Mist Sect, even though they didn't know where the little girl had gone, they still intended to catch up with her.

According to the two maids, with the weather conditions like this, Miss Xiao An Na would not go far from them. With her small body, the little girl must have moved slower than them.

And what they thought happened. They managed to catch up with Miss Xiao An Na, although they were still very far from the little girl, at least she was within their sights.

"How long will she run? Isn't she afraid of extreme weather like this?" Shouted one of the maids, the next second she was coughing as dust entered her mouth.

"I almost gave up. What if we leave her here? No one can get mad or punish us if we do. Right now, that girl is a discarded piece of trash," replied another maid.

"With the weather like this, in the middle of the forest, I'm sure she won't last long. Look, the wind is blowing harder, the lightning keeps hitting, and the trees in this forest will collapse if something like this happens in the next few minutes," he said again. The man shuddered in horror.

The gazes of the two men never left Xiao An Na's body which was getting smaller and smaller from their sight.

"DUUAARR!!"

Suddenly lightning struck followed by a thunderous sound of thunder, making the two maids shriek in fear, their hands reflexively covering their ears quickly. Let go of their belongings without them knowing.

The same thing happened three times. The two maids froze on the spot with their bodies shaking violently. But that wasn't what made them shudder in horror, but the lightning that resembled flames continued to strike at the same place, and it wasn't far from their position.

"Miss..." shouted one of the maids right after he regained his senses.

Flashes of light continued to flash in the sky directly above them, dotting the black sky with silver light resembling a current of electricity.

The strong wind did not abate.

"Where did the girl go?" asked one of the maids, his voice trembling.

Suddenly they looked around, looking for the whereabouts of Miss Xiao An Na, but to no avail. They didn't find anyone.

Where is she going?

"Look, over there!" one of the maids pointed towards the front.

"There's no mistaking it, the lightning struck Miss Xiao An Na. Look, the girl is lying on the ground," he said again.

"Come on over there," he added, starting to move again.

"She's dead. Why go there? We'd better get home before the weather gets any worse. We can report this to the Sect Master," replied another servant.

"Okay. But what about Miss An Na's belongings?"

Instantly they realized that the items in their hands had disappeared without them knowing.

"The owner is dead. Why think about her belongings? We'd better hurry, the atmosphere is very scary."

"Alright, let's go back to the sect," the other maid replied.

Time goes so fast. The bad weather slowly turned for the better. The lightning and thunder had disappeared, and the rumbling, the rain, and the strong winds had also subsided.

When the black clouds disappeared from the sky, it was already night. The moonlight glowed dimly. Slowly but surely, the sky became clear again. Showing thousands of scattered stars filling the night sky.

Nocturnal animals could be heard shouting at each other, occasionally the wind blew slowly, carrying the smell of wet soil.

News of Miss Xiao An Na's death spread very quickly. In just a few minutes, all the people in the mist sect learned of the news.

Receiving reports from the two maids who escorted his eldest daughter, Xiao Jun as Father and Mist Sect Leader did not show any reaction. The middle-aged man looked very calm as if he didn't care at all.

No sadness was shown by people, everyone cheered happily, some people were still swearing, a bad girl was bound to meet a bad ending, while others just kept quiet and didn't comment.

"I never thought that that filthy girl would get punishment so quickly. God was angry with her. God cursed her for a heinous act. A bad ending, but it was well-deserved. She was being born into this world is a big sin, hahaha," said a sect elder to other elders.

"From the start, I didn't like her. But I had to restrain myself because I still respect the Sect Master as his parent," said another.

In the room, three old men gathered and were enjoying some wine. They were the elders of the mist sect.

A very rare occurrence. The news of someone's death was greeted with joy by everyone.

It seems to be true, everyone's hatred towards Miss Xiao An Na is ingrained more than anything.

Including Xiao An Ni. The little girl was very happy right now.

If her heart could move, it might have jumped out and danced with glee.

As soon as possible, she immediately sent the happy news to Qian Cheng.

"You must like this news, Qian Cheng," she muttered with a smile that never left her face.
