5 Chapter 05. Unexpected Help

Slowly he put the girl's body on the ground. Seeing a mist sect jade hanging from her waist, his brow furrowed.

"Young Master, why are you running so fast? We almost lost track of you," a middle-aged man's voice came from behind, followed by several grown men.

"Tang Mao, come here. Check her condition," said the man.

The middle-aged man immediately approached, saw an unconscious little girl, Tang Mao frowned. "Who is this little girl, Young Master Wu?" asked Tang Mao, squatting down and leveling his position with the figure of the man in front of him.

"I do not know. She jumped off a cliff just a moment ago, I was just helping her," He replied.

Tang Mao had a smile on his lips, the first time he saw Young Master helping someone. Was it because they were currently very far from their Kingdom?

Yes, they were not residents of the Neverlay empire.

The middle-aged man then checked the condition of the girl in front of him carefully, after confirming her condition, he then took out a small porcelain bottle containing several pills.

"She is in good condition, Young Master. Maybe he'll wake up soon," said Tang Mao.

The man just nodded. "Do it, then we will continue our journey," he said.

At night, the rain that had occurred throughout the day gradually subsided. The moon and stars began to reveal themselves faintly, scattered to fill the night sky.

The wind was blowing lightly, the air was very cold. Cold to the bone. The aptitude test conducted today in the fog sect will resume tomorrow because the rain only stopped as time entered the night.

Leina returned to Miss An Na's residence when the maid couldn't find the little girl anywhere. She hoped that Miss An Na would return soon.

Seeing the night getting darker, the feeling of worry in her continued to increase, and it made her restless, and couldn't calm down.

Paced back and forth on the balcony, her eyes never leaving the entrance of the residence. Since earlier she had been praying that nothing would happen to the little girl.

"No, I can't just stay here. I have to find her," Liena monologued, then walked towards the stairs.

Down the path that led to the sect entrance, Liena quickened her pace. The surroundings were very quiet, no one entered her view.

It seemed like everyone was asleep. Liena took a deep breath. The conditions within the sect seemed very calm and peaceful, no one cared about Miss An Na's departure.

Even the little girl's father didn't look for her whereabouts. Even though Miss An Na is also his biological daughter, how could the sect master treat her so cruelly? Seeing the sect master treating Xiao An Ni and Xiao An Na so openly at the aptitude test earlier broke her heart too.

Since childhood, she took care of Xiao An Na, that little girl who was like her own daughter. She couldn't bear to see her suffer like this.

"It's a pity for you, Miss," said Lena. Regardless of the weather getting colder, she is Continuing to move, the sect entrance finally entered her view. She made up her mind, she would not stop looking until she found Miss An Na's whereabouts. Yes, whatever happens.

Suddenly her steps stopped, her eyes caught something strange lying in front of the entrance of the sect. With a feeling of fear and a little hesitation, Liena approached, and the next second the middle-aged woman ran.

"Miss..." she called when she noticed that something that entered her eyes was Miss An Na.

"Miss, what happened to you? Why are you lying here?" lamented Liena, seeing the condition of the little girl, her tears fell without her knowing it.

Miss An Na's condition is truly very pitiful.

"Miss. Wake up. Let's go home, it's cold here," said Liena trying to wake the little girl.

"Eh? What's this?" Her hand immediately grabbed a cloth with several messages written on it.

In the message, everything that happened a moment ago was written there. As well as the condition of the girl. Not only that, there were some pills and other messages in there. Liena read everything clearly, her hands were shaking. Her heart and feelings are broken when she learns that Miss An Na jumped off a cliff.

Liena immediately rose from her position, she looked for the existence of the figure who had helped Miss An Na. But the result was nothing, she did not find anyone around her, there was only the sound of a night animal that broke the silence.

"Whoever you are, thank you for saving her, sir. Thank you," said Liena immediately prostrating herself on the ground while thanking her non-stop. She couldn't imagine what would happen if that person didn't help Miss An Na on time.

After that, the middle-aged woman immediately lifted An Na's body and carried her very carefully. With slow steps, Liena walked back to their residence.

Tonight, Liena couldn't sleep. After changing Miss An Na's dress with a new one, she compresses the little girl's body with warm water.

"You have to be strong, Miss," Liena muttered as she stroked An Na's hair gently.

Like the previous nights, Liena still told Miss An Na a fairy tale even though she knew that the little girl had not heard it at all.

Now and then her eyes looked teary, she kept telling stories until she unconsciously fell asleep right next to the little girl.

Until a few moments later, a small movement came from An Na's fingers. The faint sound of a wake-up groan escaped her tiny lips.

"Ahh..." Her head felt heavy.

Na blinked her eyes until her vision was completely clear. Looking at the ceiling of a familiar room, she was stunned for a moment.

"Was it all just a dream?" she muttered.

"Aunt Liena…" called An Na when she found the middle-aged woman next to her.

"Aunt Liena, wake up. Why are you sleeping here? Your body will hurt," she added, trying to wake her up.

Seeing the dress she was wearing, An Na sighed, "Looks like it was just a dream," she muttered in relief.
