Underground Secret of the Clad Village Part 01

Zeek removed the VR helmet and looked at the clock, then her mom knocked on the door and open it up.

"Are you feeling well now?" his mom worriedly asks.

"I'm okay mom, I'll go to school today," Zeek said.

"Then eat your breakfast before leaving, I leave it here in the table," Zeek's mom said before leaving.

Zeek took his breakfast, showered, and prepared his things, and waited for the school bus to arrive.

After climbing the bus, he looked at the faces of his schoolmates, searching for someone that he might know.

"Zeek! Here!" Grid shouted.

Zeek ran towards Grid and asked.

"What level are you, and what race?" Zeek asked

"I picked Elf, and my job is a hunter, Level 7, What about you?", Grid proudly said.

"Human, Thief, Level 12," Zeek said.

"Seriously!?"Grid shouted, and all the kids in the bus glare at him.

"Shhh. . . lower your voice!" Zeek scolded Grid.

"How could you level that fast?" Grid asked

"Try to talk to all the NPC's, and if your lucky, you can unlock the hidden quest." Zeek guided Grid from the whole process of his hidden quest.

"That's just too hard, so you're the one who finished Frost Flame !?, and you did it all by yourself?" Grid was astonished on Zeek's achievements; he can't believe God's Realm is his first game.

"Try to get it first, I think that the hidden quest can only be acquired once," Zeek explained.

Grid nodded his head.

The two arrived at the school; the two didn't even try to study; they just started researching for guides about the game's first 8 hours. at recess, they talk to each other regarding the dungeons and strategies that they can use. After school, the two decided to walk home while communicating with each other.

"Oh, I almost forgot, The official website release the full map and drop items guide for the Trial of the Forrest, a 5 man Dungeon in the game available at level 10, but the normal mobs and bosses are level 15 and up, do you think we can finish it if we try?", Grid said.

"I'll need to finish my quest first, and you need to see if you can get the hidden quest," let's think about it after we are done in our quest," Zeek answered.

Time passed, and the two decided to go home, Zeek connected his VR helm on PC and laid in his bed, pushed the power button, and logged in to the game.

After Logging in Endless checked his inventory for the Underground Map Level 1 quest item, later that day, Endless checked the forums for information regarding the Underground Map but didn't see anything.

"I'll make some money first before venturing to the Underground Map," Endless entered the auction house and scrolled for items that he thinks are valuable, then suddenly he heard a commotion outside."

"Stop selling those cheap potions here! these things are worthless!" a huge man with leather armor shouting on a young lady.

"I... I'm sorry," said the girl while picking his merchandise one by one.

Endless picked one up and checked on its stats.

Flower Remedy's Vitality Potion - Earth (Novice)

Restores +20 HP for 10 seconds

Elemental Defense +10% for 10 seconds

"These Potions are awesome! Young lady, how much for this potion?", Endless asked the young lady, still picking up some of his merchandise.

"5 copper coins, sir, but if you buy in bulk, I can give it to you for 3 copper each," the young lady answered.

"This is so cheap, you're what they called a Lifestyle player, am I right?"Endless asked.

"Yes, I really don't have any idea in online games but my friends told me that I can make money out of this if I can become a Lifestyle Player in a game, they said that guilds give out monthly salary if I'm lucky enough to find a guild, but with my skills. . . I don't know if a guild would want a Brewer like me". Flower Remedy said sadly.

"You need money, right?"

Flower Remedy nodded.

"Then let's talk in private,"

Flower Remedy's face was shocked.

"Mi. . . Mister, I need money, but I don't do those kinds of things, I just want to sell my potions nothing more, nothing less".

"T...That's not what I mean! you silly kid, lets talked privately because were chatting in the middle of the street!"

The two sat near the restaurant and started to talk.

"First, I need all of the potions with Earth Attributes, I'll buy them all, second, I want you to work for me," Endless said.

"Work for you, sir?"

"Yes I'll give you 10 gold for a month, just your starting salary, and I'll give you 30% of the profits if I sold them to the auction house, what do you think?"

"10 gold!?, sir, I only Brew potions, 10 gold is just too much, are you sure about this?"

"Don't worry, I'm planning to work you for 8 hours a day". I just want you to Brew as many potions as you can starting today. I'll give you an additional 5 gold so you buy all the ingredients that you may need to brew them."

Endless traded her the money, and Flower Remedy Gave him all the potions that he brewed.

"Thank you, sir, Thank you for giving me this opportunity" Flower Remedy happily bowed her head.

"I'll add you up if you need something just PM me, understood?"

Endless thought about the 5 man dungeon that recently opened, the monster with earth element is surely roaming inside of that dungeon, the potion that he bought with 10% additional def in earth element will be handy.

Endless knows how essential potions with elemental defense can be, after playing for so long he understands that these kinds of medicines are a must if you want to finish or conquer a place quickly, after sorting everything out, selling all items that he picked while hunting Vagabond Wolfs he profited 5 gold and 72 silver in the transactions, he auctioned the [Frost Staff] and the [Ice Crystal Necklace] that he picked from the Ice Imp Leader. After the auction, he profited 52 gold from [Frost Staff] and 27 gold from [Ice Crystal Necklace]. He then clicked the Underground Map, and a system appeared.

System: The Underground Map is unreadable, please identify the map first before using it.

Endless walked to the Item Identification Hall inside of the City Hall and approached one of the tellers.

"Can you please Identify this Item for me?"

A young man with glasses hurriedly turned his chair while organizing some of the papers on the floor.

"I'm sorry, my Name is Cony; can I see the Item that you want us to Identify, sir."

Endless gave Cony the map.

"Hmm. This is a valuable map, there is only a 70% success rate in identifying this map, do you want to proceed?".

"Please Proceed," Endless answered.

A blinding white light enveloped Cony's hand, and as he touched the piece of parchment that light slowly transferred to the object after the glow covered the whole paper, a notice suddenly appeared in front of Endless.

System: Congratulations on successfully identifying the Underground Map.

Cony gave the map to Endless, and another System appeared in front of him

System: You got Underground Map Level 1 [ Silver Rank ]

Endless clicked the item, and a red path appeared in his minimap, suddenly a call appeared in his game menu.

"Undying Flame?"

Endless answered the call.

"Zeek, it's me, Grid, I received the hidden quest, you're right about the NPC's in the town, but I only got 8/10 out of them, but the quest is different, I only need to kill the Forest of Lies Boss and clear the dungeon".

"I think the quest's difficulty varies depending on your score." Endlessanalyzed.

"I think so too, I finished it and acquired some good items on it, so I think it's okay, by the way, what are you up too."

"I'm planning to go to the Underground Map, do you want to come?"

"Give me an hour, Let's meet at the city gate," Undying Flame said

"Just use the teleportation portal," Endless argued.

"Portals cost 2 gold! are you insane!?" Undying Flame said

"I'll send you money and just use the portal," Endless said.

After Undying Flame received the money, he used the portal and arrived at Clad Town, Undying Flame, then PM'ed Endless.

"Endless, I'm here, where should we meet?"

"I'll add you up" Endlessreplied

A notification appeared on Undying Flame.

System: Endless invited you to form a party, would you accept?

"Yes"

As soon as the party was created, Undying Flame checked his map to see the location of Endless and followed it.

"So, where are we going?" Undying Flame asked

"The map indicates that the hidden dungeon is north of Clad Village; let's just follow the direction the maps lead and see for ourselves," Endless answered.

The two ventured deep in the forest north of Clad village; after walking for 10 minutes, they arrived in the foot of the mountain.

"It's here. X marks this spot." Endless said.

"What now? Dig and search for the entrance?" Undying Flame said.

as Endless walked near the foot of the mountain, he suddenly heard a loud voice.

"Who dares to come in my territory!?"

Suddenly the surface of the mountain started to move, and a Golem 12 feet tall appeared in front of them, Undying Flame used Detection to see the Golems stats.

"Endless I'm only level 10 with white equipment set, this guy is level 15, I know this is a game but I still don't want to die, "Undying Flame said

Endless remembered the potion that he received from Flower Remedy, he gave some to Undying Flame via trade window.

"Do you have any skill that has wind element on it" Endless questioned Undying Flame.

"I have two, Wind Shot and Arial Shot," Undying Flame answered.

"Use it and start attacking, I'll try to tank it," Endless said.

Endless started to lure the Rock Guardian, and because he doesn't have enough skill and just relied on regular attacks, the battle lasted for 40 minutes.

"Let's hide are named for know, will have a problem if our names suddenly spread on the guilds of this game, "Endless said to Undying Flame.

"Guild can be tough sometimes, they want to hog the glory for themselves and don't want independent players achieving these kinds of things, so hiding our names is good for me, I don't want problems in the future," Undying Flame said.

"Please hide it" Endless answered the system notification

"Let's loot the boss" Undying Flame said

Endless approached the carcass of the Rock Guardian and looted the items.

Endless saw a shining object on the Rock Guardians' chest.

Endless then examined the place where the Rock Guardian appeared and saw a door carved with Aztec like drawings, he placed the power crystal on the top of the picture of two people raising there hands in an illustration of an altar.

"What now?" Undying Flame asked

Suddenly the rocks begin to move sideways, opening a dark path.

"So, this is the secret dungeon?" Endless asked

System: Congratulations on opening the Path to the "Dungeon of the Rock Empire."

"This is an instance dungeon Endless, a 5 man dungeon," Undying Flame said.
