Rebirth

Karna opened his eyes and saw an unfamiliar ceiling. "Where am I? Is this the Hospital? Am I saved?"

As he looked around he saw an unfamiliar room with comic books and action figures that most cultured high school students (weebs) will have.

" Which comic books are these? Even though I am an old man, I am still in touch with comics and recent cultured things, because if I may get to act again I can connect with this generation on a higher level."

"But I don't remember any comic book with these names like "Worm Man" or any action figure of man with no arms or legs, only a big mouth, who looks like a guy that will crawl and eat you to death. Was the comic artist Idiot to make such a weird character and who the hell puts them in hospital."

He was even more surprised when he looked into the mirror, which was unusual sight for him to have in a hospital room but what surprised him is not mirror's presence itself but the reflection of a handsome young man with hazel green eyes who looks like he was just more than 18 year old and just got out of high school.

Just as he looked at the mirror, foreign memories started playing in his mind.

In the memories he was Karna, top graduate out of No1 High School in the state of Maharashtra and one of the top students in the country who was selected to enter any of the top prestigious colleges, the IITs.

Even though he was a handsome man, he never focused on his looks. Instead he always studied hard to fulfill his parent's dream for him to enter the IITs.

But that was not Karna's own dream, his true dream was of becoming a World Famous Celebrity who will have millions of fans and his any work would be termed as a masterpiece.

He tried his hands in learning many things to become famous like writing, singing, acting etc. but he could not be considered as talented in any of them.

Of course many people approached him for an actor role because of his looks but he refused them all himself because he knew 'all shine and no substance' is no way to go for anybody going into entertainment industry.

Either way as he was unable to fulfill his own dream so he tried fulfilling his parent's dream for him of studying in IIT's which came naturally to him because of his High IQ. Yes, he was the so called an intelligent type.

His condition was like a warrior who has the strongest sword in the world but he wanted to become a magician for which he has no talent for.

He has a family of four which consists of him, his father, his mother and his cute little sister Deepa, a lamp who brightens this family.

He was just packing his belongings in the room as today was the day when he moves out of his parent's house in Pune, the educational capital of the country, to the IIT college he has selected.

Coincidentally enough or deliberately maybe he has chosen IIT Powai which is situated in Mumbai City the most core city of the entire Entertainment Industry of the Country.

Mumbai is also called 'The City of Dreams' a city that never sleeps but each person living here has a dream of his own which may realized beyond expectations or quashed into dust with no turning back whatsoever.

Maybe Karna has not fully given up on his dream that's why he chose this IIT in Mumbai to get a last chance to realize his his own dream or be as close as possible to the treasures he cannot possess.

While packing his belongings he was electrocuted and 45 year old Karna's soul came from another world and transmigrated here.

"Who am I exactly? Am I Karna from this Universe or the Karna from another one? I have memories of both Karna's and Maybe because our souls are merged or something I feel both Karna as me itself. "

"I am both, Karna of 18 year old and 45 year old as well. So lets sort this out, we have many differences but our dream is exactly the same. I can use intelligence, cunningness and youth of this life which other universe's Karna lacked and talent and memories of past life which this universe's Karna lacks to actually become the top most Superstar in this Life." (A.N.: "we" is slowly replaced by "I" indicating soul merging fully and considering his memories as of past and new world not of two different Karna's as both are same now)

"This world and past world is completely different from one another, to be honest this world's entertainment industry sucks compared to previous one. What kind of superhero comics was this WormMan anyway I can't believe I liked such shits in this world, how can it compare to the superheroes comics I had read and saw in my previous world".

"Maybe I can recreate some masterpieces from my last world and give this world some enlightenment on how things should be done."

"Lets make a plan on how to proceed in the future, the biggest takeaway from my past life is to find solid backing for myself to depend on in times of crisis and have lots of money, otherwise I will quashed in the line of millions of talented people who have same dream of becoming somebody in this entertainment industry, for now I can use my IIT college as my backing, it may not have big weight in Entertainment Industry but top tech CEOs of the world not just the country are from this IIT. No-one in their right mind would want to become enemies with such giant readily. This kind of backing will enough for initial stages. Money problem may have wait for now. My parents have there hands full just by looking after my sister and me. If not for the Scholarship I got, procuring tuition fees for IITs may have even forced them to poverty"

"And I should also start practicing my acting and singing skills. I may have memories and talent of my previous life but I will still need to practice with this new body of mine for good body language and vocal pitch control."

"YouTube has become a big thing in the country recently. Many creators have started to become famous using this platform. Maybe I can start here as my first step new life."

"Okay then lets pack this all up and meet the half familiar and half unfamiliar family of mine."

"Oh.... But before that WormMan you are going to the place you belong". Karna throws all his comics and action figures into the dustbin (A.N.: #JusticeforWormMan)
