12 The Live Show

Lily did as she was ordered. After Stephanie entered her office, she busies herself working to the core. She did not step out of her office until it was time for the meeting. She was so damn busy to the point that she forgot that there was something called food. Immediately after the meeting with her colleagues, her phone beeped on her way to her office. She checked to see who texted her.

"Hey pretty little sister, I know you forgot to have your meals again that is why I sent you my normal warning alarm. I order you to get your ass off your chair and get something decent to eat. There will be no launching of the new cosmetics if the host collapsed on the event day, don't you agree with me? So don't starve yourself if you don't want that to happen," that was Clifford's warning message to her. Taking care of his sister in this manner has become a habit. He always sends her this message daily no matter how busy he was.

"That is so sweet of you big bro," Stephanie said smiling. When she got to Lily's desk, she told her to get her something for her lunch.

After eating her lunch she resumed her work, she only stopped when it was fifteen minutes to the arrival of the reporters. When she went to check the place where the interview was supposed to be held. She smiled when she saw that everything was set for the arrival of the reporters. When the reporters arrived it took them twenty minutes to set up all the instruments for the live show.

After all, the basic questions about the preparations of the launching were asked, the reporter moved to the main questions.

"Miss Woods, what inspired you to create this set of cosmetics? How did you come about this?" the female reporter who was directly facing her asked. She was an average beautiful middle-aged lady. From mere glancing at her, Stephanie guessed that she was between 35-37 years old.

"As a lady, I know the amount of time and efforts it takes us to dress up. We do this because we want to look our best. We feel that we can only stand out if we look our best. And looking exceptionally beautiful gives us a sense of pride and satisfaction. I was inspired to create these set of cosmetics because I want all females out there to look confident at all times thereby giving them a sense of pride and satisfaction. I don't want any lady in this world, be it the beautiful ones and the less beautiful to ever feel inferior because of her appearances," Stephanie explained. She was inspired to create this because of how miserable and inferior everyone made her feel. She did not want any girl out there to ever experience what she went through in her childhood.

"Wow, Miss Woods has a big heart. I really love your answer and I am sure that your fans out there love your reply too but I am just curious. Are your company's new products only for females? Don't you think that guy's also feel intimidated too in the presence of a beautiful lady? Especially if they meet a natural beauty like you," the reporter asked beaming at her.

"Oh, my bad! For the guys, the perfumes and other unisex cosmetics products are for you. It also gives guys the confident they need to stand out. The fragrance of the products is unique, it makes you stand out in a crowd. Smelling nice gives you a sense of satisfaction and belonging especially when someone compliments how nice you smell or don't you agree with me?" Stephanie asked smiling at her too.

"You are so damn right. Hearing you say these, I am really looking forward to using your new products. I promise I will be the first to purchase your new set of cosmetics when it is launched," the reporter replied delightedly.

"Miss Woods, what makes these sets of cosmetics different from other cosmetics produced by other companies? What makes it unique?" asked the reporter.

"All the ingredients used in producing these products are rare to come by, some are even impossible to find and these rare ingredients gives the products its uniqueness," Stephanie paused. "What makes it unique is the long-lasting fragrance it leaves after using it, and there is one thing I failed to mention in my first interview. It's about the magical effects of all the products," Stephanie said.

"Like how many hours can it last?" the reporter questioned curiously.

"For as long as you want it to," Stephanie said smiling at the amazed reporter and colleagues.

"For as long as I want?" The reporter asked amazed. Stephanie shook her head affirmatively.

"Do you mean that it can last for three days if I don't wipe it off or take my bathe?" The reporter asked inquisitively.

"Yes, that was what I meant by making all the consumers confident. The fragrance is second to the best if not the best in this world," Stephanie said proudly.

"Like seriously? That is amazing," The flabbergasted reporter replied.

"I am serious. I would never deceive anyone. I have tested the products on myself and so has other people who volunteered to be our test subject, we can assure everyone of its credibility," Stephanie assured.

"We trust you, Miss Woods. Everyone has high hopes about your company's new products and I remember you mentioned something about the products magical effects, what did you mean by that?" the reporter asked curiously.

"It's suppose to be a secret. Everyone will get to know what I meant on the day of the launching. So everyone should look forward to it. We won't disappoint you," Stephanie said smiling.

"I can't wait for that day to come and I am sure everyone is eager too, " said the reporter.

"Since the launching of these products was announced to the public we noticed that your company has been getting positive feedbacks. Are you confident that the products will be successful in the market?" the reporter asked giving Stephanie a stern gaze. Stephanie was silent for a moment. It's wasn't because she was not confident about the success of her company's products. She hesitated because she did not want to look pompous to the viewers watching the show.

"We have been getting positive feedbacks because our customers have confidence in our products. They know that our utmost priority is to provide them with the best products and I am grateful to all of them for having faith in us," Stephanie replied. "Success is sure for us with our consumers on our side that is all I can say," Stephanie replied confidently.

"Your level of comportment and confidence is overwhelming. I love this about you. No wonder your fans still love you so much even after three years of retirement from the entertainment cycle," the reporter complimented.

"I still love them very much too," Stephanie replied beaming. Everyone who was watching the show was so happy with Stephanie replies. They wished their favourite actress and model did not retire so early. They were all eager to hear whether she will make a comeback after the success of the launching.

"I am sure they are happy to hear this confession from you," the reporter replied.

"Miss Woods, as a former popular actress and model, can I be so bold to ask you why you quit acting and modelling? I know I shouldn't ask this but I know that all your fans out there are curious to hear your answer because they are still hoping for your comeback, so can you tell them why you had retired back then?" the lady asked. Stephanie bright expression changed when she heard her question.

"If you know you shouldn't ask me this damn question, then why did you do it?" Stephanie muttered angrily.
