13 Have I Really Found Him?

"I thought this interview was solely about my company and the new products so why I am the centre of attention right now?" Stephanie whispered to the reporter faking a smile at the viewers.

"Hello, guys let's go for a break," the reporter announced to her team. Stephanie adjusted well on her seat, her expression turned cold. She was only holding back earlier because the show was aired live.

"Miss Grace, I thought I clearly told you not to bring up the topic of my retirement or anything that has to do with me on the show?" Stephanie asked drinking from the bottle of water in front of her to calm herself down. The one thing she hated the most was when someone tries to pull a fast one on her. It was clear that the reporter was taking advantage of her.

"Lily, make sure you don't set any interview with this media house ever again. Understood?" Stephanie turned to Lily without giving the reporter the opportunity to talk.

"Understood," Lily replied immediately.

"This interview will be the last interview you will ever have with me so I will suggest you ask whatever question you have in mind because you will not have another opportunity like this," Stephanie said turning to face the reporter again.

"I will be kind as to answer the questions so don't worry," Stephanie continued.

"Miss Woods, I am...,"

"There is no need for apologies and isn't the break over yet. I have another appointment in a bit," Stephanie said glancing at her wristwatch. The reporter quickly signalled her team to get ready. The interview resumed in two minutes.

"I know my retirement came as a surprise to everyone but I really thought a lot about my decision before I made it public," Stephanie paused staring at the camera. Nobody in his/her right senses will abandon a life of fame but she was different. Her sister was the one who would do everything to attain a life of fame and wealth since she was a child but not her. She knew the decision she took three years ago affected a lot of people including her agency President but she was so tired of a life of fame. Her goal for being an actress and model could not be achieved so she did not see a point in why she should continue in that dimension.

She has a passion for what she was doing right now and she loves it.

"I love acting so much but I love my cosmetics profession better. I feel alive whenever I create something that adds beauty and confidence in the lives of everyone. I love what I am doing right now and I hope my fans will stand by me and support me," Stephanie said calmly.

"But don't worry, my fans will be first to know if ever I decide to make a comeback. I assure you that," Stephanie said smiling. All the viewers were satisfied with her answer. The truth was they did not have any other choice but to submit to her charms. Although they all wanted to comeback to acting, they will still support whatever she does.

"That was a fabulous answer Miss Woods," Miss Grace said clapping. She really likes Stephanie. In fact she was a huge fan of hers. She has longed to meet her for a long time. She blamed herself for letting her curiosity and excitement to get the better part of her. Miss Grace could not blame Stephanie for getting angry because she knew she was the one who messed up.

"As your fan, I can see just how happy you are with your new-found profession. I am sure all your fans all over the world are happy as long as you are happy," Miss Grace added. Stephanie just smiles at her without uttering a word but deep she felt bad for getting mad with the lady who had no bad intentions towards her.

"Miss Woods, as exquisite-looking as you are I know you have male admirers worldwide so why are you still single? Have you not met your Mr Right yet or have found him already but is waiting for him to make a move first?" Miss Grace asked. This was her first time interviewing a big shot like the famous Miss Woods. The apple of everyone's eyes and to top it all, her role model. What everyone could not notice was that Miss Grace was trying her best not to jump on Stephanie due to how excited she was.

"She really has a knack for stirring me up I must admit," surprised Stephanie thought staring at the beaming Grace.

"Found him? Have I really found him?" Stephanie asked rhetorically staring at the camera. Her sense of humour when she asked the question was superb.

"Maybe I have found him or not? Forgive me everyone but it's hard to say," Stephanie said humourously, smiling.

"Every answer you give is as beautiful as you. For a minute I really thought you would say you have found him. Your answers would have left billions of guys heartbroken," Miss Grace joked.

"You think so?" Stephanie played along. Her employees who knew how stern she can be who were watching the show were surprised to see how jovial she was. They could only come up with the conclusion that they thought she was cold because they have stayed with her for a long time.

"Yes, I am hundred percent certain," Miss Grace said confidently.

"Ok, I believe you," Stephanie replied still smiling. Just then Gabrielle Adams entered the interview room but she stood far away. She waved to Stephanie to signify her presence.

"I know you have already answered this question about six years ago but six years have passed and so as your preferences, I believe. Can you tell us once again what is your ideal type of man?" Miss Grace asked boldly.
