Trial and Error

"You failed yet again." A male voice spoke. "How many times does this make it? Over a thousand times." Mocking could be heard from the voice.

"Osmadiel, shut up." This time a female voice spoke. "I or rather my other self will someday in the future break the shackles of my curse and let me and 'her' free." A firm determination could be heard from the woman.

"We will see Shirinerris. Your other self struggles for atleast 2000 years now to break out of the crystal palace and failed every time in the end." Osmadiel spoke.

"Osmadiel, do you remember the start? When she woke up for the first time? She couldn't´t even win against a starving and near death Hellhound or even pick up the weapon because it was to heavy." Shirinerris rebuked.

"Still. In the end she can´t win against the curse Apix casted upon you forever." He spoke to Shirinerris "And as you know, never in history was a curse from Apix been undone. Even you can´t change that."

"We will see. I will grasp my own future and it will not be dictated by Apix, you or any other person in this World." Shirinerris spoke with anger filling her tone. "I swear that someday I and 'her' will be free."

"It takes a fool to do the same thing again and again with the hopes for a different result." Osmadiel spoke in mockery.

"Well, succeeding starts with believing you can." Shirinerris fired back at him.

"Shirinerris don´t you understand even after all this years? You will never be free again." Osmadiel spoke while turning his back to Shirinerris and vanishing from one second to the other.

"Osmadiel just wait and see, I´ll be free again and then the prophecy shall come true!"

Again a disheveled and scruffy girl lays in a coffin inside a dark room made out of stone.

Then Suddenly the girl inside the coffin woke up a found herself inside an old and hard coffin made out of stone.

It was basically the same procedure as the last time the dress was magically again in the same spot as last time. The same events happened like last time the girl dressed herself went to throne room found the sword and fought the monster in before the big metal door.

This time however through sheer luck or coincidence the girl did not receive any damages or wounds from the beast.

Thus leading to another outcome of history. She opened the big metal door and took a glance of the crystal blue room before her eyes.

"What is this? Is it made out of ice?" She spoke to herself not seeing the man at the end of the room nor the altar with the book and the dagger. She touched the ice only to find out that it was not ice.

"When it is not ice what is this floor made out of then?" She asked herself. "Maybe metal or crystals?"

After her findings of this mysterious floor she finally saw the altar, she walked to the altar and saw ten lines of writing engraved to it. Eight out of ten of these lines were grayed out.

"You shall seek out your place in the world and You shall remain determined through times of struggle." She read out "Are these some religious commandments? I understand them, but I cant remember them at all. Shouldn't they be important if they are religious commandment?" She asked herself.

"Well whatever let´s look at the top of the altar." While she spoke she took a glance of the top and saw a book and a dagger lying there. She grabbed the book first and inspected it finding out that it contains some sort of riddle.

"If you want to move onward you shall pay and dye the nature red."

"What is even meant with nature? Is it the floor or the monster that I slayed?" She asked herself. "And how shall I even dye it red? The blood of the monster was blue not red."

Minutes passed while she thought of possible resolutions to her current problem or rather the riddle.

"Maybe I have to use the dagger and use my own blood? But what is meant with nature? Anyway let´s try it with the floor."

Thus she sliced her arm with the dagger and soon blood came out of the wound. She dropped the blood to the floor and dying it red in the process. What she didn´t knew was that a few drops of blood missed the target and fell to the book.

After a minute of waiting the room where she was in suddenly went completely dark. Even she with her innate ability to see in the darkness couldn't see anything. After a while the dark fog was gone and she could finally see again.

What surprised her was that at the end of the room a open door appeared.

"I did it!" She exclaimed with a happy voice.

With excitement all over her body she went to the door and went through it and saw a green scenery stretching as wide as the eyes can see.

From one moment to the other a immense pain could be felt inside her head. When suddenly a voice could be heard inside her.

"It shall be on the day that the ground shifts, an embarrassing defeat shall usher forth an end to our suffering."

"When the horned one returns, the stranger shall bring an age of fury and an era of favorable crop yields."

"There comes a day when the lost heir returns, a proposition shall bring a new fury."

"When the moment comes that air turns to dust, a broken promise shall bring an age of inhumanity and the restoration of balance."
