11 Ch. 11 [Wake Up from Penalty]

The window blinds flicked gently. Light poured into the carbolic-scented room through the wide-open window. The wind gently filled the all-white room.

Sret.

Before the quietness of the room was overtaken by the noise, a blue light appeared in an instant and moved someone who had been trapped in [Penalty]. The black-haired man's breath roared, his heartbeat could be heard by his ears, his clothes were shabby with dirt.

Noah, who felt the pulse on his back, dropped his body onto the bed. Even though it's not as comfortable as at home, at least she can rest. But, before he even closed his eyes to sleep, a familiar female voice could be heard from outside.

"Then, what are you here for!? Why don't you take good care of it!"

'Mom?'

Noah straightened up again, but the pulse on his back grew even worse. He grimaced at what he had done earlier but cursed more at the [System] which caused him to fall into the abyss and his spine might break again.

'Looks like my spine has fractured again,' he thought. He tried to rub his back, but couldn't because his hands were feeling the pain too.

"Should I use that thing now?"

BRAK!

Noah, who was full of thoughts, was surprised to hear the door smash violently. His eyes spontaneously looked toward the hospital door.

Seen from this, a middle-aged woman sitting in a wheelchair. Yes. He was the one who pushed hard at the door. Which almost knocked Noah's heart out.

"Mom?" Noah asked as if surprised by what his mother had done.

The mother, who had a red face because of his emotions, just subsided after seeing his child sitting on the hospital bed. The look on his terrifying face quickly turned to worry.

"Noah!" he shouted with great emotion.

Noah's mother quickly moved his wheelchair and she spontaneously embraced her second child.

'Wow, the power of a mother,' thought Noah. He was amazed that his neck was choked on his mother's hug.

Mother gestured to Riley, who had been pushing the wheelchair closer to Noah.

Her anger just dimmed at the nurse who had lowered her head in fear at the wrath of this struggling mother. How could she not, she is the wife of the owner of the greatest companies in the 5 best countries.

"Geez, brother! What happened to you!" shouted Riley, hysterically.

Never mind Riley, the mother who gave birth to Noah was more surprised to see his.

As soon as he saw the condition of her son who was still pale, with his clothes shabby, his hair ruffled, her emotions flared up again. Like a medusa who could turn people to stone, she snapped at the nurse who was still standing behind.

"What are you doing! Hurry up and check my son!" she snapped.

"A- All right!" answered the two female nurses, stammered.

They quickly ran to Noah and tried to replace the bandages on his stomach. Although they were surprised by Noah's shabby appearance, they brushed off the thought and focused on carefully changing Noah's bandages.

Noah just stared at the noisy scene before his eyes. He couldn't say a word when he saw his mother first throwing a tantrum like this to someone else.

"I shouldn't have let you go to college today."

A gloomy aura was now felt by the two people who were inside this inpatient room. The aura from the mother felt so thick that it gripped them and it left them speechless. Their mouths were sewn and the hairs of their necks stood up.

"I-"

"No! I should have forbidden you to go! Look! Your body is so damaged!"

The mother pointed to Noah's face, which was covered with scratches. The scratches actually came from when he fell from the cliff, but the mother thought they were from the golem's doing.

As if a chick crossed his head, Noah could only answer silently,

'I'm not a girl ....'

The man with the midnight express seemed like he wanted to cry. His pride was like being torn apart by his mother.

'Mom. You forgot I'm a boy,' thought Noah, whose face had turned red. He covered his face with one hand, then looked silently at the girl with the salmon-colored wave hair.

"Worse, hise is Riley."

The girl who was staring at it realized. She looked back at Noah who turned out to be looking at him with annoyance. Innocent she chuckled and scratched her itchy head.

Riley approached mom and whispered,

"Mom, I'll take care of Brother Noah's care costs, so I said goodbye to go outside."

Mother was surprised, then she immediately nodded her head as soon as Riley said goodbye to leave the room filled with the scent of carbolic acid.

"O- oh! Please. Use this card!" She reached into the wallet that had been in her lap and pulled out a black card. Noah, who immediately knew the card, concluded that he was in the VIP room.

'Mom is always overreacting,' thought Noah, staring flatly at the two women who were chatting.

Feeling nothing interesting from the conversation, Noah chose to turn to the open window beside him. The wind blew against his handsome face which always showed his cold impression. His eyes wandered far away as if staring at the cloudy sky.

Riley already went outside. He could hear the sound of the door closing tightly and it meant that Noah would face the wrath of the mother who had given birth to him in this world.

He quickly turned to his mother and right when he saw her face, the tears rolled down the woman's cheeks. Mother cries again seeing her child's condition which is always stricken by calamities.

"M- mom?" Noah panicked as soon as his mother sobbed.

"I'm sorry. I should've hired a bodyguard for you. But, because dad is not well and your brother is studying abroad, you can't do anything about it. I'm sorry, Noah!"

Repeatedly the mother wiped his tears that never stopped. Sobbing between her talking. Her faintly wrinkled face was beginning to clear and made Noah feel worried and sad.

"Mom ...." He reached for his mother's arm which had been wiping away the tears.

"I'm fine. I'm a boy, no need to hire a bodyguard. Besides, I could use my martial arts as a child," he explained, calming his mother's feelings, who were crushed to see him hospitalized.

'Well, even though martial arts are useless with my strength,' thought Noah. Yes. His body was indeed born as the weakest of the men. And Noah admitted it.

"That's right, you are a boy. Mother shouldn't spoil you like a daughter. I'm sorry." Mother nodded his head and went back to wiping her tears roughly. Smiling at her son who was staring at him.

'My son has grown into a man,' thought the mother, smiling wryly. She had to give up his child's growth and stare at Noah's face, which was almost like his father's.

Things slowly improved and Noah, who was curious about the mother's rebuke of the two servants, returned his voice,

"Oh, that-"

"I want to ask you a question."
