1 Ch 1 Prologue To Carnage.

As, I can smell the tension in the air, I am horrified. I was a veteran infantry soldier , who has roamed the battle field for 15 years and even I can only tremble in front of the army of the Empire.

As, the famed cavalry of the Empire starts galloping, I visibly start shaking. I remember my beautiful wife , my dear son , and my daughter who recently married, I miss them all. Tears start forming in my eyes, death is lingering in the battlefield. Soon i hear the general shout " SOLDIERS WE FIGHT TILL THE LAST MAN STANDS, EVEN IF YOU LOSE YOUR LEGS, LOSE YOUR ARMS; YOU FIGHT. GOD BLESS THE KINGDOM."

The cavalry soon charges.

The cavalry of the Kingdom and Empire soon clash. It was a massacre, the soldier had low moral from the beginning. We had to march huge distance , in a short amount of time, without proper rest the rash general of the Kingdom started attacking , to appease the newly crowned King .

Soon,the battle came to an end, As i could see the general retreating with the remnants of the army. Tue Empires cavalry also soon retreated.

"So we have lost this battle " I said to my subordinates. "Maybe" one of them said. "Retreat!" shouted the adjutant of the general. "No rest, No food and endless battles" one of my subordinates silently said. Soon we started retreating but lingering tension did not die down, I could still feel the lingering danger. Someone started cracking a joke, it was not funny but we still laughed to appease the mood. I could see a green horn, that's what we call a new soldier, he looked visibly saken. I knew what he was going through. A battle like this could destroy anyones spirit.

"Attackkkk" I heard. Soon arrows started raining down. I pulled the green horn infront of me , took my shield and covered both of us. But the arrows still pierced through my wooden shield , I felt a peircing pain in my chest.

'Looks like this is how i die' I thought.

At least tye green horn lived or maybe not.

At the same time; in an empty vaccum like space.

"What is this" said an hoarse old voice. "Looks like a body able to host me , a human child, ah right they're the only species left except those filthy monsters, not more then 16 and about to die."

"Looks like its time to Conquer everything once again, like the good old days."

My name is Adrian Heather. Many call me the 'Butcher' , 'Demon' and a lot of names but I would like to be called a Conqueror or even a battle monger, I conquered practically everything at my times. I was sealed here when i got too old that even death was nearing me. I have been waiting for... i dont know how many years. I even barely even remember much about myself . As you may all ready know I found a suitable body, so looks like I can finally come out of the routine of sleeping and making things up in my head.
