2 Rebirth

Ring!Ring!Ring

Feeling groggy I instinctively searched for the source of the annoying sound disturbing my sleep as I heavily slammed it.

Hearing the noise stop I relaxed preparing to slumber again but I was once again interrupted from doing so.

"Jeez! Oppa wake up your gonna be late to school."

Hearing a nostalgic voice I woke from slumber as I slowly opened my eyes.

I looked to my side as I found my sister staring at me angrily.

Confused I was dazed for a few seconds.

I've actually come back in time I thought feeling emotional.

I thought I was ready to accept death but now that I had returned I truly felt regret and the desire to change the way my life had turned out.

"Sorry Hye Bin, this won't happen again I promise," I said.

"You always say that Oppa," Hyebin said as she pouted puffing her lips.

Just as she was about to continue I hugged her.

Shocked she looked at me freezing up for a minute.

"What are you doing Oppa!" she said after pushing me away.

I whispered in her ear "There's no need to hold back anymore."

Hearing my remark tears filled her eyes in which I responded by hugging her tighter.

"I'm sorry for neglecting you Hyebin," I said.

Sighing I looked at my sisters crying face that was beautiful regardless as she buried it into my chest.

In the past, I had been unaware of the extent of her feelings for me and lightly brushed them off by saying that she was just confused.

Since then our relationship had started to drift but thankfully this was before that happened.

"We're going to be late Hye Bin, we can talk later," I said.

She looked up at me with her adorable puppy eyes as she nodded as we left the house together after I got ready.

In a good mood, she linked arms with me as we walked to school.

"Oppa!" I could hear a voice behind me.

Turning around my intensities hurt and disgust filled me as I saw a girl anyone with crescent-shaped eyes and a fairly-like physique.

Many male pedestrians gave me a fierce look of jealousy which may have caused me to feel uncomfortable in the past but I was no longer the same me.

I put on a fake smile that had been perfected from years of diplomatic experience.

"Good morning Jung Jae," I said relaxedly.

"Hehe!" She said as she grabbed my other arm and linked it around hers.

Feeling that somebody had invaded her territory Hyebin gave a fierce glare to Jung Jae but she lightly brushed it off seemingly not caring.

While walking with two beauties in arm I received quite a few glares from nearby male pedestrians but I simply didn't care.

Hyebin didn't notice anything different but Jung Jae had always been an intelligent one as she noticed what that I was slightly different.

Curious she looked at me but I didn't return my gaze as if I never noticed.

Smiling she became more interested as her lips curved.

"You seem a little bit different today Oppa. Did something happen?" She asked.

Indifferent I replied, "I had an interesting dream that's all."

"Hmm. It must have been really interesting then," she said as she stared at my face trying to discern something.

I lowered my head to her ear as I whispered: "There are some things in this world that are better off not knowing."

As I followed by sticking my tongue in her ear as she almost yelled out in surprise glaring at me but I simply returned by smiling.

I did this at an angle Hyebin couldn't see so she just seemed confused when Jung Jae's face was red.

"She must be on her period," Hyebin thought playfully wishing she would hurry and leave so that Oppa and her alone.

As they reached school we split up as we each had different classes.

Hyebin was a first year so she had her class on the first floor while me and Jung Jae were in our second year so we had class on the second floor.

Before going to her class Hyebin whispered in my ear "to be careful of the vixen" as I smiled shaking my head.

Jung Jae narrowed her eyes as she seemingly didn't react but I could see the anger in her eyes.

It seems she wanted me to apologize but I had no intention of saying sorry to a woman that got me killed.

As we climbed the staircase to the second floor there were no people in the hallways and class was staring really soon.

It had been a while since he had gone to school so he was trying to recall what class he was in.

If I remember correctly Jung Jae was in Class 2-A while I was class 2-F the polar opposite.

Class 2-F was a bit special as students with problematic behavior were put here to be monitored strictly.

As for how I ended up in this class well…

I had always tried to help people even if I ended up taking the blame for things I didn't do causing the school to label me as a problem child.

I sighed feeling nostalgic.

As I was caught in a daze I didn't notice Jung Jae already left.

She seemingly Ignored me as she walked to class but I was too distracted too even notice as I also walked away.

She looked back and saw me walking away infuriating her more and she decided to ignore him for a while.

"Hmph he's just playing hard to get once he realizes I'm not that easy he'll come begging me to forgive him," she thought proudly.

Unaware of her thoughts I entered class exactly 2 minutes before the bell rang.

As I moved to my seat I could hear two guys behind me excitedly chatting.

"Did you hear about the new virtual reality game?" Student A said.

"Yea but don't you think it's fake" Student B said.

Smiling I gazed out the window

"It's almost time..."

The bell rang as the teacher started by asking students about the Homework last night.

The teacher seemed to notice my lack of focus and was about to say something as the door opened and a gloomy guy with really ordinary facial features walked in.

One thing that seemed to stand out was his blank eyes that seemed to hide something deep within.

Our teacher's focus immediately shifted to him.

"Min Soo you can't always be late like this, I've already warned you multiple times," he said in a stern voice.

Most teenagers would be anxious in this situation but Min Soo simply nodded as if he didn't care.

Angered by Min Soo's nonchalant attitude the teacher took a deep breath to calm himself.

"Come to the teacher's office after school we need to talk."

Unfettered Min Soo moved to his seat in the back.

Call his parents? How they're dead? I thought amused.

Noticing my gaze he glanced at me as I sent a tinge of bloodlust towards him but I faced forward before he could respond.

Shocked Min Soo looked towards Kang Soon's back with confusion apparent in his eyes.

The bloodlust he had felt in that brief moment was even greater than his master's but that should be impossible.

His breathing turned heavy as his heart rate accelerated.

It felt like a primordial beast from ancient times just stared at him.

Terrified he looked at Kang Soo's back.

His master had killed hundreds of people which in modern society was already approaching the maximum before the military got involved.

Yet this young teenager at the age of 16 had stronger bloodlust?

Feeling it was impossible he shook his head but he was also sure that feeling just no wasn't an illusion.

Deciding to test the man he knew not even the name of despite being classmates after school.

As the day progressed I ate lunch with Hyebin while feeling deeply reminiscent of the peaceful environment that school was.

After school ended Jae Jun was nowhere to be found which delighted Hyebin as she could walk home alone with Oppa.

While walking home I soon noticed a presence following us so I stopped.

"What's wrong Oppa?" Hyebin asked.

"It's nothing I forgot something at school can you go ahead I'll come back as soon as I get it."

Suspicious she stared me in the eye.

"You're not going to meet Jae Jun are you?" She asked narrowing her eyes.

"I'm not I promise," I said while smiling.

Satisfied with my response she nodded while walking away.

After I until Hye Bin was gone I took action.

"Come out Min Soo," I said.

In the dark Min Soo inwardly felt shocked.

Other than his master no one else had been able to detect him in the shadows so how was man able to.

Feeling more and more sure this classmate of his was not who he seemed to, he walked out.

"You've really hidden well. What sect are you a part of," Min-soo asked?

"That's rude calling your classmate you. I have a proper name it's Kang Soo," I said turning around.

"Fine classmate Kang Soo what is your true identity?" Min-soo asked.

"I'm just a normal high schooler for now," I said.

Unsatisfied by my response his eyes grew cold.

"Would a normal high schooler possess bloodlust comparable to that of an Asura," Min-soo said.

"That's why I said for now, besides who I am can easily be found out through your connections right. I can assure you all evidence will show that I simply am a normal high schooler," I said.

Surprised Min Soo stared at Kang Soo's face and it seemed as if he was telling the truth.

"Have you heard of the Noah Ark Project," I asked.

Confused Min Soo asked me "Stop diverting the topic," he said growing angry.

He doesn't know about Noah's Ark? I assumed he was already aware but it seems that his master hid it.

"What if I told you Earth will be destroyed in less than 20 years," I asked.

Min Soo's expression grew cold as a tinge of ridicule could be seen in his eyes.

"Your talking about rumors that an enormous asteroid is predicted to collide with earth but there is no way it is true." Min Soo said seemingly unfazed.

"It seems you won't believe me," I shrugged my shoulders. "How about asking your master for the truth then," I said while turning around and walking away.

"Wait, How do you know about master!" Min Soo called out to me but I had already disappeared.

Shocked he looked for Kang Soo's presence but he found nothing.

"Kang Soo huh? I'll remember that name," Min Soo said.

Thinking back on the man's words he turned around heading towards his masters to confirm the truth.

He had a feeling of unease as he shook his head thinking it was impossible for it to be true.
