3 Once more all alone

The wolves eyed me but not with malice instead I felt curiosity from them, the larges of the wolves was 1.8 meters and appeared to be the alpha of this pack. It approached me slowly sniffing the air and keeping it's guard up waiting for sudden moments, I stood frozen I knew I had no chance against the pack my only hope was to be left alone, they seemed to harbor no ill intent but I can't be to sure. Minutes past by time moved slowly as the largest wold slowly walked towards me, it felt like hours passed when it finally got in front of me, after more sniffing it licked my face it was disgusting but i think it was a good sign. The other wolves approached sniffing me I caught the scent of each one while mostly similar there was differences that could be used to identify each wolf, the head wolf walked into the cave leading all the wolves including me. Me and all the other wolves where 1.2 meters with a few inches here and there, the cave was quite spacious the alpha moved into a corner where wolf puppies laid sleeping. I found a spot at the back and curled up to sleep I was happy I had found a brand new home, other wolves curled around me I felt a familial warmth once again. My biological clock woke me up at the crack of dawn along with the other wolves it was hunting time, the alpha who I learned was male after seeing a female wolf with him and something I really wish I never saw. I will have nightmares for years to come but for now I need to focus on the hunt, we tracked an elk to an open plain it was alone in the field. Slowly I stalked through the tall grass I observed the other wolves and manged to correct my own movements, it was helpful having natural teachers I doubt I would be able to fix my own movements anytime soon. Jeff my name for the alpha made the first move biting into the elk's neck, the rest of the pack moved in I bit into the elk's leg trying to tear out a chunk of it's flesh. The elk quickly fell over due to the sudden weight change, the force was all I need to tear a considerable chunk of flesh and muscle from the elks' leg, after that we made quick work of the elk, after eating my full I moved away from the group I felt a sudden influx of energy inside my body, unlike when I awoke my physique this was warm. I manged to get to the cave when darkness over took my vision, I once more found myself inside the white room God sitting at his desk.

God: Congrats you got you first evolution.

Lucien: My what?

God: Well the other physique owners gaining power through absorbing Mana and comprehending the law they are in-tune with but you evolve to a higher state after a certain amount of kill's.

Lucien: Well what are my options if any?

God: Glad you asked you have two that will decide you future path, to help you chose tell me what you want for the future.

Lucien: I want to to live my own life free of any destiny or fate, I don't want to be forced by anyone to do anything, I wish to rule my own life. Call me cliche but I don't want to lose control or die in some final battle because fate said so I refuse to lose to such a thing.

God: A common but noble goal if you can achieve it that is yet to be decided by you and you alone, as for what you shall become well that you will find when you awaken.

I saw darkness once more and arrived back in my body but it felt familiar, I looked down and saw my hands they where human, I could see even in the pitch black cave even the individual hairs on all the wolves around me. Before i could investigate further I felt an insatiable hunger but not for meat, I could hear blood rushing through the wolves veins around me it called to me urging me to eat. I couldn't control the urge and tore into the nearest wolf drinking blood but it wasn't enough I started to devour the blood of all the wolves, my eyes turned red I was drunk on the taste. I stumbled out of the cave and into the woods unsure if anything still lived on it that cave, I collapsed besides a lake. The night was dreamless I woke up to the sun high in the sky, my cloths covered in blood I quickly jumped into the lake and scrubbed at my skin until it started to tear off, I felt so much shame I had just met those kind wolves and even felt trust but I massacred them I don't think a single one survived. I stayed in the water weeping I felt as if something that was holding me back from the abyss in my mind broke, I started to laugh out loud so what if i killed them that's what monsters do and I am the king. I washed myself off and started to run away from the cave the further the better, tree's started to blur around me I left the forest shortly after I started to run an open plain stood before me in the distance a village I once more felt a stirring of that hunger within me it was ancient and it wanted blood.
