Back in school Part 2

After finishing lunch, Ben asked his friends, if they could summarize the missed lessons for him. With the help of 7 friends, Ben understood fastly the main points of the missed lessons.

He already knew approximately what he had to revise for the coming exams, but each lesson taught important information. It was just that the subjects like science, which he would make a skill had a lot more value, then subjects that he would rarely use and slowly forget.

The third lesson was German, Ben wasn't particularly talented in languages, but even less in languages that he wouldn't use in the future.

Right now the most used languages were Mandarin-Chinese, Spanish, and English. So why, should he care about German, except for the grades he will get at school. He patiently survived the boring lesson, while taking notes.

In the last lesson, he had arts.

Until the next holidays, the students had to build a house with mainly matches and glue. The house could only have two floors and couldn't be wider than 30 dm^2.

´In my last life, I hesitated a long time how to build my house. One week before having to submit it, I worked my ass off to build a nice looking house and I got a 2 for the house.

It was quite depressing because I didn't fully understand what the art teacher was looking for.

After seeing the houses, which obtained a 1, I understood exactly what he wanted, creativity, and a lot of details. On my school report at art, I received the grade 1.5, we only had 2 exercises, the first one was creating a short cartoon for which I got the best grade (1) and the second got me a 2.

This time I will get my 1 for this project. The main reason, why other houses scored better, was because they painted the ground on which the house would be build, because they used pictures printed on paper to decorate the walls and because they sparsely used other substances.

So first I will paint my ground in a beautiful green and a blue trail, the green represents the grass and the blue represents a stream.

Afterward, I will build a complex building with many small details like books, tables, chairs, beds, and even a small pool, which I will fill with a blue substance. Outside I will glue a lego man on the ground, I will also create a tree and build a fence.

By submitting my house I will definitely shock my art teacher, raise the difficulty of the project and I can help them with their houses, resulting in them having better grades. It shouldn't be difficult to do most of the project in the exam preparation time. ´

As Ben already made his plan, he gathered the materials he needed, most people would build their house in the lessons, but he planned to only do small parts in the lessons and the main build at home. Without hiding the progress of his project, they wouldn't be any big surprise effect.

Having finally finished school for today, Ben and his friends were on the way to the train station.

„How should I even begin with this God Damnit project!?" Thomas asked the group.

„No idea, but look at these pictures on the internet! I will probably just copy one of these houses." Alex said, showing the picture from google search.

„Guys, we have more than enough time to create something acceptable, don't stress over something so easily!" Tobi said, sounding mature.

„Tobi is right, but even though we have over a month, don't wait till the last week. If you want to get a good grade, you will have to invest a lot of time in this project." Ben agreed, stating the truth.

„Why did you bring back all these materials? Do you plan to work on the house at home?" Asked Amadeus stupidly.

„Yes, I do. I plan to do my best to get a 1 in art." Ben affirmed his questions.

„So that's why. But shouldn't you concentrate first on the exams, you already missed a lot of lessons." Alex said concerned about Ben's grades.

„I think I can organize myself better and easily achieve all of that." Ben optimistically declared.

Jonas frowned and said sarcastically as he didn't believe that it was so easily achievable: „Aren't you thinking quite naïvely? I don't want to discourage you, so I just wish you good luck!"

„Thank you."Ben said and followed a two second later with:

„Guys, isn't that your train!!!"

„F*ck, we have to run!" Alex shouted, taking speed to run as fast as possible.

Alex, Jonas, and three other friends began to run. Their train headed to the downtown, while Ben and Amadeus waited for the train heading to Ostfildern. Tobi and another of his friends had to take the bus.

On the train, Ben and Amadeus talked about the games they played like in the last life, just that this time Ben's interest wasn't as high. It was more Amadeus discussing with Ben about what he was playing and liking and Ben smiling at him or nodding.

Arriving home, Ben finished looking at the topics of the missed lessons, took dinner with his family, and fell asleep early on as today was quite exhausting for him.

An hour later, his parents came into his room, wanting to talk with him and say good night, but they found their son already sound sleep with a smile on his face. They looked at each over and smiled.

Before they left the room, they gave him a good night kiss.
