Lin Huang swiveled on his chair as he reached for the steaming cup of instant ramen on his desk, as he stared at his flashing computer that sat on a cheap table in the corner of the basement he was renting.

He twirled his fork, the pale yellow noodles twisting over and under the utensil. Lin Huang glanced back at his laptop and stuffed the noodles into his mouth, the steam clouding his spectacles.

The heat of the food caused his to breathe in rapidly, the noodles blocking his airhole.

The sight of an otaku choking to death on his noodles was truly entertaining.

" cough, argh"

As lin Huang gasped, a light flashed in his brain, and he blacked out, leaving the world in the heroic manner he had always imagined.

After a few seconds, Lin Huang gasped and opened his eyes.

Where was he?

He appeared to be sitting in a pale yellow bed, with the fit body he only had in high school, and the walls were covered in study sheets and reminders.

Had he traveled back in time 10 years?

There was a sudden knock on the door, and a pretty middle aged woman entered, gently whispering,

"Huang er? Wake up, school starts in half an hour, and I've made your breakfast already."

He stuttered, and replied only after a pause.

"Uh, Mother, Ill be out in a second, I have to get changed.", He said to avoid being suspicious.

After his mother left the room, He sighed and pulled himself together. Had he really gone back to the good days? This was a dream come true, Maybe the gods had finally listened to his pleas.

In his past, he had treated his mother badly and pretended to study, when he was really out with his friends.

This had caused him to fail all his exams and end up not being able to go to university, greatly disappointing both of his parents. He had then been dropped by his "friends" and had proceeded to stress eat, and make money off streaming until he turned 27 and met his unfateful end, or so he thought.

If his theory was right, then he had traveled back to when he just met his problematic friends and started to act disobediently. Maybe he still had his abs and pale skin?

Yes! He did!

lin Huang then made a resolution.

"Whatever I do, I will study hard, and get a successful career, and ditch those friends!"

Today was the start of his new life, and he couldn't wait to get started
