2 Chapter 2

Zach woke up again 3 hours later.

It seems like his headache was now completely gone, making his mind clearer while leaving only the feeling of a slight weakness.

He has also now received the previous owner's memories, Zachary Adams and now he finally knew that the world he is present in was different compared to the Earth that he had known!

Although the difference was not that big, since there was still 7 continents and 195 countries in this Earth. The various industries in this world are also kind of similar to his. Like the new oPhone X that was newly released by Maple, was awfully familiar to the one that he knows. The brand name and logo may be different, but their products were essentially identical compared to the ones he was familiar with.

The entertainment industry.

Based on the memories that he had received, this was the part that was completely different from the ones that he knows. It was extremely prosperous, in a sense that the top stars of the industry can even sit at the same level as the president of a country!

There was even a worldwide association named Star Association, responsible for the classification of levels for the most famous stars in the industry, ranking them from 1st to 60th in a list called the Golden Star Rankings. Their board members are composed of five representatives for each continent except Antarctica, with each of member has given a worldwide contribution to the entertainment industry. You can even say that they are the figureheads of the entertainment industry and this association has a very huge influence not only to the stars, but also the masses alike.

The Star Association also has a branch for each continent with different set of rankings called the Silver Star Rankings, for those stars that are not yet qualified for the Golden Star Rankings. Their members are also composed of one representative for each country in their respective continents, each of them also has a contribution to their respective continent's entertainment industry.

Starting from F-class Star the bottom level, E-class Star, D-class Star, C-class Star, B-class Star, A-class Star, up to S-class Star, the top level of the industry, with 1000 ranks for the F-class Star, 750 ranks for the E-class Star, 500 ranks for the D-class Star, 250 ranks for the C-class Star, 100 ranks for the B-class Star, 50 ranks for the A-class Star and 10 ranks for the S-class Star. By being in the S-class Star in the Silver Star Rankings, they will be qualified to be included in the Golden Star Rankings.

It just shows how hard it is to rank up from the Silver Star Rankings as there are only 2660 ranks that are available for stars to grasp for each continent! Even more so for the Golden Star Rankings as there are measly 60 ranks worldwide!

Thinking about the extremely competitive entertainment industry, Zach can't help but smile with joy, as he realized that this world was really to his liking.

He had no father and mother in his previous life. After leaving the orphanage, he had to struggle everyday just to make a living. Thanks to his good looks, he was warmly received the by the aunties and uncles where he works for, as they thought that he could be a good mascot for their stores. Until he was scouted by an agent to join an audition to be a star of Royal Entertainment, discovering that he had a knack for acting, singing and dancing that made him the King of Entertainment in just 7 years. After that, he received a serious illness, rendering him unable to enjoy the peak of his life. Before he died, he said farewell to his friends so he no longer had anyone to worry about.

This world was like a gift by God, as it was tailor-made for him. As he reached the pinnacle of the entertainment industry in his previous life, he wanted a more challenging and exciting stage for him to conquer and show his brilliance.

Zach suddenly recalled something and went to the spot where the five feet tall poster was hanging.

He stood in front of it and stared on it for a long time. The man on the poster was slender and tall, with blonde hair, and gentle green eyes. He has a handsome face and thin eyebrows with a gentle and smart temperament. But behind that face, Zach can see the unnaturalness and pretentiousness of the man. This man was his best friend— oh wait no, ex-best friend Lance Moore.

"Putting a big eye-catching big poster in a room with almost no design, he must have admired him that much, huh. But never would he expect that the person that he thought was the most gentle and caring, was just a snake in human disguise, baring its fangs in the dark and waiting for the time to strike its prey."

Stopping himself from his reverie, Zach unhesitatingly reached out to the poster, tearing it down from the wall and casually kneading it to a ball and throws it to the trash.

After circling the bedroom, he found a simple and clean wallet. He opened it and found $500 inside. Beside the wallet, there was also a phone, which seems like the oPhone 8 by Maple. He opened it and checked what time and date it was.

2:43 P.M.

Thursday

He turned off the phone, and walked to the closet. He opened it, as he was intending to go for a check-up on a hospital to check the condition of his body.

But before he could pick up one, he stood there, gobsmacked at the sight of his clothes. The clothing that he saw in his closet, from the jackets to the pants, they were all simple! For example, on the left side was a plain white shirt that was probably used as an undershirt for his high school uniform. It was okay, as it was really needed but why was all the shirts are plain with just the colors of white, gray and black!

"Well at least, it's not pretentious like a certain someone that I know."

Zach awakened from his stupor with a laugh and searched the closet before finding some good clothing to match. He chose a plain white shirt, matched it with a light denim jacket, and brown slim fit pants. Fortunately, the original owner had good taste in shoes so Zach selected a pair of white sneakers with a black stripes on the side by Reddidas.

Before going out, he deliberately ruffled his hair so that it would cover his forehead. It was just a casual wear, but after Zach left his apartment, he received the stares of people passing by. Even as he walked through a cafe, there were two or three female waiters staring at him, causing them to slip up their orders.

'You see, you can grab everyone's attention by just wearing something casual. And, from now on, I will not only let Lance Moore regret his betrayal, but also show the world your brilliance!'
