when he first tried to use his power to probe shirou he was shocked to find avalon inside him, he did not understand why kiritsugu needed to implant the sheath in him when the fire had never occured , he also found out that his parents had sealed a part of illya's memories about magic and other supernatural things,

he was right now sitting in his garden trying for the first time to use his teleportation ability,

"what do you mean ??, i cannot use true magic" he said to which zelretch laughed,
