Preparation

The five juniors' first task is to clean the entire territory. They busied themselves under the hot sun at noon and did their own tasks attentively. They still had big smiles on their faces and sometimes are still lost in thought of what they experienced earlier today.

The barriers and illusion arrays that Qi Meng created earlier is still in place. In this way, nobody would be able to peek of what is going on inside their newly acquired land.

Qi Meng used his invisible soul form to close the entrance gates.

Ever since the defeated Fang Clan left their former territory this morning, nobody dared to enter even though the entrance gates were left opened.

Qi Meng then again used his invisible soul form to plant array flags at the entrance area and around the the perimeter of their new territory. A while later, the same barrier he planted at the Twin Valley Village is activated covering the whole territory.

Inside the territory, aside from the huge palace, numerous courtyards are built around near it. There are guest pavilion on both sides of the palace and behind is a huge battle arena thrice as big of what they have in their own clans. This place is at least thrice as big the entire Twin Valley Village.

In front of the palace is a vast training field paved and tiled with huge flat natural stones where the clansman can do their everyday training and cultivation.

Qi Meng has already roamed around and saw every corner of this place.

All the courtyards were built in good quality and is very pleasant and comfortable to stay in.

He then chose a courtyard for himself near the palace.

The next day, Qi Meng and the five juniors are at the palace hall sitting at one side of the long table.

"Now that we have a place to stay, we can seclude ourselves from the outside world and cultivate here until the tournament starts."

Qi Meng said to them seriously.

The tournament is just a few months ahead and they still have ample time to improve themselves.

"Everyday, we will do a one-to-one combat. Currently, your strength as a group is unmatched. However, each of your individual strengths are quite lacking to a certain extent."

The juniors listened attentively at Qi Meng's pointers as if they are studying under a hermit.

"En! Thank you big brother!" Qi Min nodded with reverence. It sounded weird for him to be calling a 4-year old big brother. But he liked it, anyway Qi Meng is the Qi Clan's prime descendant so it is just right for him to call him that."

Qi Meng lightly smiled satisfied hearing this new moniker of his. Being promoted from being called the little monster to little boss then now to big brother is quite a good development.

Yes, that is right, Qi Meng would leave his soul form to stay at the training field to look after the five juniors every time he beats them to a pulp during their training. After he left the field, all sorts of curses would be heard from the five juniors. But of course, Chu Yuexia's curse is the sweetest of them all. He felt really happy while training these kids.

"Second will be Qi Jiang. Then, Chu Yang, Chu Qing and Yuexia's turn for the next consecutive days. On the last day of the week shall be 5 vs. 1."

Qi Meng stated.

"Alright!"

All of them agreed with excitement regardless of the beating they are about to take.

Outside their territory, the gossipy bystanders are quite curious as they tried get information of these new sect in the capital. But none of them dared to go near the entrance gates afraid of getting the unknown sect's attention in the slightest.

Twin Valley Village, Middle Continent.

Inside the Qi Clan's palace hall, everyone is seated along the long table together with the Chu Clan's sect master, prime elder and the rest of their elders having a discussion while enjoying some of the Qi Clan's delicacies.

"Sect Master Chu Hao, prime elder and everyone, thank you for responding to our invitation promptly. This meeting will decide the path of both of our clans in the future. I hope that this small step forward would turn into a great leap for all of us in the future."

Sect Master Qi Yu greeted cheerfully.

"First of all, we would like to inform everyone here that both of our clans has received the grace of an esteemed senior and is currently guiding our junior elites for the upcoming tournament."

All of the Chu Clan's upper echelon were amazed upon hearing this news. In fact, they were quite curious of where did the Qi Clan's sudden increase in wealth came from.

"The esteemed senior had already expressed to us his intention of receiving our Qi Clan's prime descendant as his direct disciple previously. Upon reaching the capital and gaining a new territory by themselves, the esteemed senior has officially accepted Qi Meng as his direct disciple."

Qi Yu continued to narrate to them with a smile.

"As Qi Meng wanted so much to help both the clans to rise, he had requested to his master to help both of our clans." Qi Yu spoke genially.

Everyone were again astonished how a 4 year old kid could think about all of these at such a young age.

"However, the esteemed senior has three conditions for both of our clans in order for him to fulfill Qi Meng's request."

Qi Yu paused for a moment, looked at everyone, then continued.

"First, the esteemed senior required Qi Meng to be a member of a sect. As written in our letter of invitation yesterday, we wished to form a sect together with the Chu Clan as required by the esteemed senior. He does not want Qi Meng to join just any existing sect out there. We are asking for the Chu Clan to convince your ancestors about this matter." Qi Yu stated.

"We would be happy and have no problem in joining the Qi Clan to form a sect. Our clans have know each other for a very long time. It is just a matter of time until we get it officially done. After we go back to our clan, we will immediately notify our ancestors and forefather about this matter." Sect Master Chu Hao replied earnestly.

"Thank you." Qi Yu nodded with a thankful expression and then continued.

"Second, the esteemed senior needs the sect to be able to defend the newly acquired territory at the capital. He wished to announce the sect's name publicly by hanging the name signboard at the entrance gates a month before the ranking tournament starts." Qi Yu stated.

The Chu Clan were all astounded. They know for a fact that it is difficult to acquire a territory in the capital. Their faces is now showing signs of excitement. Qi Yu and the rest smiled at the sight of their facial expressions. But after hearing that they need to defend it, their faces turned pale.

Upon seeing the expressions of all the people around him, Qi Yu then followed with another statement.

"Not to worry about the defending part as the esteemed senior will be aiding us in this. He will discuss it with us once everyone has mobilized to the new territory." Qi Meng smiled as he said.

"Lastly, the esteemed senior requires the sect to be at least the most prominent sect in the capital within a span of ten years and make Qi Meng their sect master after that. He does not wished to leave behind his legacy to just anybody. He wants to make it sure that the sect is able to continue his legacy forever and not waste all of his hard work. Of course, the esteemed senior did say in his letter that all cultivation resources will be provided to aid the sect in ten years."

As Qi Yu stopped his with his last statement, all of the people inside the hall were flabbergasted. Even his own clan does not know this condition. How is it easy to elevate realms especially at the late stages? One has to know the fact that even a genius early stage Dao Emperor will take at least 10 years just to break through to the initial stage of the Dao Monarch Realm, not even at the early stage Dao Monarch after 10 years. How can they be comparable to the most prominent sects with the capital?

"There is a reason why all three of the conditions I have mentioned earlier must be fulfilled otherwise the esteemed senior will not be wasting his time. He mentioned in his letter that if everyone agrees to the second and third condition after fulfilling the first condition by means of a heaven's oath, he will be bestowing the newly formed sect his unique cultivation technique created by himself. He had mentioned that with this cultivation technique alone, a cultivator at the initial stage Dao Paragon would be able to break through to the peak stage Dao Monarch realm within a span of 9 years given that he cultivates earnestly and wholeheartedly." Qi Yu said with excitement.

Again, all the people were so astounded and almost fell off to the ground from their seats.

The meeting ended quickly and the Chu Clan rushed back to their clan to convince all of their ancestors and forefather to exit their seclusive cultivation and form the sect with the Qi Clan immediately.

Meanwhile, Qi Meng together with the five juniors started their arduous cultivation inside the new territory. Qi Meng sparred with Qi Min until the latter is not able to stand up. Qi Jiang sparred with Chu Yang while Chu Qing sparred with Chu Yuexia.

That night, Qi Meng was in deep thought. He suddenly felt that stream of tears fell from his cheeks. It was about this time around when his parents died in his previous life. He made a conviction that no matter what, he must do everything in this life to prevent that incident from happening again.

"Maybe, it was all really predestined and I am supposed to be reborn in order for me to protect those close to me that I have not protected before. Now that I have almost everything, I am going to change the fate of those close to me. I will not let them suffer like before."

"I had already made the first step and eliminated the cause of my parents death in my previous life. There is no way that the Zhao Clan would rise back from the dead or the surviving weak disciples to suddenly grow strong."

Qi Meng murmured to himself lost deeply again in his thought.

He had not planned this at all and yet the heavens is finding a way for it to happen. When it comes to his family and someone close to him, he could not control his urge to kill especially for the Zhao Clan whom had murdered his clan in his previous life.

From the very start, he has been guarding not only his clan but also the Chu Clan. Along with the Qi Clan, the Zhao Clan had also murdered the Chu Clan that time. Qi Meng only heard of the news about it when he had escaped a narrow death.
