5 Heaven's Child

The day of Qi Meng's second realm break through came quickly. At night, when everyone else are asleep, Qi Meng waved his hand and all ten of his dao palaces flew above his head. The first and second dao palaces are noticeably white in color and brighter than the rest which are looking transparent.

At this instance, there was a dim light that flashed across the sky over their courtyard. A new dao palace descended and like the first break through, it merged with the tenth palace. After the merging, the tenth palace became more brilliantly shining than before with a hue of faint gold but not as bright as the first two dao palaces.

And just like that, Qi Meng is now at the Dao Apprentice realm. Just barely one and a half month old and is already as strong as a 7 year old average kid Dao Apprentice. Not even mentioning a genius, even a 4 year old Dao Apprentice heaven's proud son in not comparable to him. The contrast is just like the distance between heaven and earth.

Qi Meng continued to cultivate diligently everyday and 2 months passed by so quickly without any mishap. Along this period of time, Qi Meng would casually toss out some of his precious top-tier earthly treasures every month. Now, the Qi Clan already has a total of three top-tier earthly treasures.

The sect master and all the elders are greatly overwhelmed by the blessings they have received from the heavens. Up to this day, the Qi Clan are still oblivious about Qi Meng's silent act of support to the clan and still blindly believed that they are being blessed by the heavens.

Onto this day, currently the 13th day of Twelfth month of the present year, the Qi Clan received the invitation for the Princess Chu Yexia's 3rd birthday celebration. The Qi Clan knew that the birthday party was just a cover up to the real auspicious event.

By now, the Chu Clan already knew that the princess's dao palace would descend next year due to the faint signs present within the princess' soul. It is now emitting a faint brilliance which is a sign that her soul is preparing for the receiving of her first dao palace. At three years of age and already destined to be blessed by the heavens, truly gifted and a heaven's child.

This could only mean that the Chu princess is way above the contemporary geniuses in terms of talent and can be called as a Heaven's Daughter. It is believed and known for the fact that Heaven's Children are more talented than the contemporary geniuses which only received their blessings on their fourth birthday. The statistics or calculated ratio for the emergence of such talents are one out of one million geniuses based from the records thru time.

When the Qi Clan sect master mentioned to all the elders about his wish for Qi Meng to reach the Dao King Realm before his coming of age ceremony, he is hoping for his own child to be gifted by the heavens as the heaven's child as well.

It is a fact that most heaven's child breaks through to the Dao King realm at the age of 10 years old. By the time they turn 14 years old, also known as the coming of age, a heaven's child would have a cultivation realm of peak stage Dao King. How wonderful and awe inspiring is that?

But what his father do not know is that Qi Meng himself is a monster compared to these so-called heaven's children.

Middle Continent, Twin Valley Village. At the Chu Clan's Palace Hall, the sect master is sitting around a huge table together with all their elder level figures. Opposite them are the uninvited guests from the Immortal Sect consisting of two elders.

Although the Chu Clan have the advantage in numbers and within their territory, they would not act harshly and offend them even in the slightest manner.

A small mortal sect cannot be compared to this Immortal Sect. While most of their clan's elders are at the early stage Dao Emperor realm, and their prime elder being at the mid stage Dao Emperor realm, the Immortal sect average elders are mostly at the middle stage Dao Emperor realm. An average elder of the immortal lineage is as strong as their prime elder. How can they go against this monstrous sect?

Immortal Sect also have their high elders mostly at the late stage Dao Emperor realm while their prime elder is an expert of the peak stage Dao Emperor realm. Just by the strength of this immortal lineage elders alone can easily flatten any mortal sect to the ground and wipe off their existence.

"We sincerely apologize to the Immortal Sect esteemed elders for having one of your disciples injured by our clan's direct disciple. Please accept this earthly treasure as a compensation. We hope that the esteemed elders would let this matter go off." The Chu Clan sect master bowed and said apologetically.

"Well, our sect is not that aggressive towards small mortal sects like you. We will take this earthly treasure then as a compensation." One of the two guest elders replied with a serious look.

"We will not be as kind if the same incident happens again in the future. Do not blame us for not giving you face then." The other guest elder warned them with a stern look on his face.

The Chu Clan sect master waved both of his hands hurriedly scared to death while stuttered saying, "No, no, no.. Of course we guarantee the esteemed elders that there will be not a second time. Thank you for you benevolence and kindness to our small lowly clan." This was not an exaggeration as he truly feared to enrage this Immortal Sect and have a taste of their wrath wipe off their clan.

The Immortal Sect elders did not speak further and bid their farewell. The Chu Clan walk them outside and waved their hands.

In a simple courtyard, the Chu Clan sect master is playing with his beloved daughter.

"Yue'er, your birthday is almost coming. Do you have any request from your father? Is there any gift that you want?" Chu Hao held her and asked cheerfully.

The cute little toddler looked at him with her eyes glittering, "I always want to be with father and mother, all the time." The toddler replied with her cute sounding voice.

"Well, that is what your father and mother supposed to do. You will always be our little princess no matter what and we'll be together all the time." Chu Hao told her with a smile while holding her in his arms.

The cute little toddler waved her arms and legs while being held up by her father above his head. Laughing to her hearts content.

"Come the two you, dinner is ready. Let us eat." Chu Ning'er, the Chu Clan sect master's wife, called.

"How was the negotiation with the Immortal Sect?" Chu Ning'er asked.

"Well, our clan is still lucky to avoid a sect-destroying disaster." Chu Hao replied with a smile.

"That is a good thing for our clan. Are they also coming for Yue'er's birthday celebration?" Chu Ning'er curiously asked.

"We handed the invitation to them and they will give us a reply soon when they are back to their sect." Chu Hao replied.

Chu Yuexia ate quietly on her own and did not join her parents conversation. At such a young age, Chu Yuexia already has a bearing of a female adult. Her father and mother took a glance at her and cheerfully nodded with satisfaction at her well-behaved manner.

"We can only hope for Qi Meng to be as good or even more talented than Yue'er." Chu Hao stated.

"That would be the best." Chu Ning'er replied.

Chu Yuexia felt a tingling sensation in her heart a bit when she heard the name Qi Meng. She was curious and confused. She did not put much attention to it afterwards, after all, she is only a 2 over years old child.

Back at the Qi Clan, while sucking and feeding from her mother's breast, Qi Meng paused for a bit and then suddenly..

"Hachiii..." Qi Meng suddenly sneezed. Qi Meng pondered for a bit and then continue having his fill of breast milk.

Tsup.. tsup.. tsup.. tsup.. tsup.

Later that night, Qi Meng continued on his pain staking and arduous cultivation until dawn. His parents are still oblivious of his miracle. Qi Meng is just too good at concealing his cultivation. He had set-up a formidable array formation every time he is cultivating.
