12 Chapter 12 — Party's End

Hidrus Quintus was in chaos, a great tear opened in the sky, covering the previously beautiful starry landscape with a sickly and disturbing pink, laughter, screams, accompanied by chaotic music and all mortals felt pleasant aromas.

From this abnormal sky, fragments of energy fell like rain, they looked like balls of multicolored light, but when they hit the ground, they turned out to be abominable creatures, with purple skin, claws on their hands and deformed faces, some of these creatures had wings, and others looked like large centaurs.

Upon sighting these creatures unimaginable to the mortal mind, the inhabitants of Le Refuge Ombré, the largest island of Hidrus Quintus and location of the governor's palace, locked themselves in their partially destroyed homes, or fled to the ports, hoping to sail away.

Men, women, and children ran in despair, those left behind were torn to pieces by the creatures' claws, or dragged away, their fate unknown to those who didn't know the creatures' origin.

In port, one of the seamen's greatest laws was enforced, women and children first, the seamen's family members were placed on ships, accompanied only by the crew necessary for the ship to sail.

Simultaneously the planetary defense forces and any man who possessed a weapon did their best to delay the creatures, placing crates and equipment from the harbor in the way, they barricaded themselves.

However, despite their efforts, there was little effect, the creatures were fast, easily dodging the bullets in their path, and those who were hit did not receive considerable damage, or totally ignored the projectiles hitting their bodies.

Eventually they overcame the defenders and approached the ships, the ships that were ready to set sail but there were those still in port, everyone braced for what was to come, families embraced, some prayed to the Emperor to protect their souls, others took a nearby object to use as a weapon.

That was it, everyone would fight until the end, but deep down they knew they were doomed, the imperial guard would never arrive in time, if they ever found this planet, they only saw ruins and bones.

With sadistic smiles and uncontrolled laughter, the creatures advanced.

Suddenly the planet shook, it started with something small, ripples in the water, small objects falling, some houses condemned by the storm collapsed, and then came the real tremor.

Massive waves covered the ocean, the land at the bottom of the sea broke and moved violently, as if something in the depths was forcibly rising, ships rocked, humans grabbed what they could to keep from falling into the sea.

The creatures lost their balance and fell to the ground, the houses in the best condition collapsed, anything that wasn't trapped was thrown to the ground, the shaking continued for minutes, but it seemed like hours, until everything stopped, a deathly silence took over Le Refuge Ombré.

Then a powerful green light illuminated the island, the humans had their backs to this light, everyone was afraid to turn around, but the brave and curious fought their fear, and when they turned around, they had a breathtaking view.

A gigantic pyramid, black, silver and green, shone on the horizon, two smaller pyramids were in front of it, two were on the side and if someone could observe from above, they would see two more pyramids behind the larger pyramid.

These wonderful buildings glowed brightly, unexpectedly, the glow of the pyramids dimmed, the light dimmed from top to bottom, like water being shot through fresh paint, towards the ocean, and then the light disappeared.

A few seconds passed, until a green dot appeared in the ocean, then another and another, tens, hundreds, thousands, millions, the ocean turned green, a noise could be heard by everyone, it was a more persistent low noise, which could be heard even from underwater, they sounded like small metallic objects bumping together.

With a gush of water, the surface of the sea was broken, revealing a swarm of scarabs that blocked the pink sky, with an incessant metallic hum, these scarabs advanced like a green and silver wave towards the creatures, their sharp legs surrounded by a disruption field piercing the flesh of monsters.

This caused the creatures both pain and pleasure, amid moans, the creatures swung their claws, creating cuts in the swarms, more beetles immediately filled in these cuts.

The centaur-like creature charged towards the swarm, its large body able to overcome the damage and serving as a battering ram for a path to be opened and the other monsters to advance.

These creatures didn't last long, as the air in front of the port boiled and electrified, a thin and large green line appeared in the air, this vertical line expanded to the size of a building, forming a gigantic green rectangle in the air.

It was an Eternity Gate.

From this gate, large and powerful war machines emerged, they looked like metallic pyramids, heavily armored, with a large green orb floating on top, four weapons came out of these constructions, each one on one side of the machine.

These machines floated across the battlefield, firing their Gauss Flux Arc Projectors, gleaming arcs of sickly green lightning struck the creatures, turning their bodies to ash and sending their energy back into the Immaterium.

The centaurs withstood the onslaught, then the orb atop the great machines spun as green energy pooled on its surface, with a blinding flash and a bizarre hum, a Death Ray was fired from the orb, erasing the centaurs from existence.

With the area secured, the large constructions landed and in the frontal region of these constructions, a green portal opened, from this portal thin contours were seen, these contours advanced, and when leaving the portal its shape was revealed.

Metallic and skeletal beings marched in unison, forming powerful lines of fire, they shot with deadly precision at the monsters that got in their way.

The Monoliths brought the Necron to the battlefield and no Daemonette or Fiend would stand in their way.

The metallic legions marched like a wall of Necrodermis; the Daemonettes saw their new foes yet another source of amusement, so rashly advanced towards the Warriors.

With a shower of Gauss lightning, the Warriors advanced slowly and methodically, they saw no rush in combat, gaining victory quickly and recklessly will only lead to defeat.

With Immortals leaving the Monoliths, the extermination undertaken by the Necrons became more efficient, with the orders of their superiors, the Warriors destroyed the daemons in their path. Heads were incinerated, limbs were de-atomized, torsos erased from existence.

But daemons weren't defenseless, Slaanesh's daemons could be the most "fragile" of all daemons, but they had an advantage that other Never-Born didn't have, that is, being devilishly fast.

The most skilled Daemonettes danced between Gauss's shots and charged toward Necron's line of fire, leaping, sliding, taking cover behind rubble, their onslaught closing in.

Eventually the Daemonettes collided with the first Necron line, some Daemonettes taking more damage from this action than expected, as they did the equivalent of head-butting a metal wall.

The smarter ones used their claws to slash the Warriors at the knuckles, severing arms, legs and heads, the warrior's Necrodermis being of inferior quality and less armored, the Warriors responded by raising their Gauss Flayers and plunging the blades of their weapons into the creatures' flesh.

A Daemonette leapt towards the Immortal leading that line, the Immortal reacted as a veteran of the War in Heaven would, plunging the blade of his Gauss Blaster into the Daemonettes stomach, lifting her, and firing his weapon, with a loud groan, the Daemonette was destroyed, the rest of her legs falling to the ground and disappearing.

Reorganizing their line into a defensive formation, the Immortal helped eliminate the Daemonettes that were pressuring them, their efforts were not in vain as the Immortal bought enough time for reinforcements to arrive.

From the great Eternity Gate, flying war machines emerged, they were machines piloted by two Warriors, they looked like a large twin cannon mounted on a platform, and they were Barges of Annihilation, the barges floated a little behind the Necron lines.

Firing their dual-link Tesla Destroyers, huge energy cannons that fire devastating arcs of lightning, the barges used their powerful anti-infantry weaponry to eliminate the Daemonettes in their path, ending the pressure on the Necron lines.

Some Barges took up a stationary position, protecting the Monoliths and the Eternity Gate through which the troops arrived, others accompanied the Necron infantry. Slowly the battle left the port and reached the city, the streets were narrow and full of alleys, due to this, and the Necrons reduced the amount of Warriors in their lines, dividing into smaller groups.

A group marched down a small street where it was possible to see the Daemonettes trying to invade human houses, the daemons knocked with their claws against the doors and windows, asking to enter, their distorted voices promising unimaginable pleasure.

The Daemonettes could easily invade the houses, but there would be no fun in that, the more they played with the prey, the better the kill, the Daemonettes' fun was interrupted by the metallic march of the Necrons, with the order of the Immortal, the Warriors targeted the Daemonettes in the streets.

At the end of the street, a Fiend appeared, with a neigh and clatter of hooves, he galloped towards the Necrons, commanding the Warriors, and the Immortal ordered them to focus their shots on the approaching enemy, the Fiend was bombarded by lightning, pieces of your body being de-atomized to the beyond.

Using his claws to protect his face, Fiend charged forward, it looked like he would collide with the Necron line, but suddenly, a powerful green beam ripped through the air and opened a hole in Fiend's claws, and piercing through his forehead, Fiend's body became limp and skittered across the floor, disappearing at the feet of the Necrons.

Looking at the source of the shot, the Immortal saw a Necron on the roof of a building, it was a Necron thinner than normal, a single glowing eye on its head, they wore black shoulder pads and a metallic bow around their heads; they also carried large weapons disproportionate to their physical size.

It was a Death Mark, the Necron Snipers, assassins able to enter and leave dimensions at will, they weren't teleported to the battlefield, and the truth is they were there the whole time.

In a flash of green light, five smudges appeared behind the first Death Mark, these smudges stabilized and revealed themselves to be five Death Marks that came out of their hyperspace dimension where they were observing the battlefield, and materialized in reality.

With their Synaptic Disintegrator rifles, the Marks of Death disappeared into the dimensions between now and then and reappeared at different points on the battlefield, taking out large targets or taking down Angels of Hatred in mid-flight.

The Immortal and the Warriors resumed their march, with the corner of his vision, a Warrior spotted something moving in an alley, following his basic combat protocol, and the Warrior checked the source of the disturbance, upon entering the alley he found a child standing hiding behind some wooden crates.

The Warrior ignored the child, his protocols dictated that he fight only what was considered a threat, and an unarmed small organic hardly would be one, so the Warrior turned away, returning to his group.

CLANG!

Until something hit the back of the Warrior's head, turning around the Warrior saw a stone rolling across the ground, looking towards the likely direction the stone came from, the Warrior saw an organic female, looking at him with anger and fear, no let the Warrior know what these things mean, his ability to feel and think being destroyed millennia ago.

"Stay away from my daughter!" The woman screamed, hurling another rock at the warrior.

But there was something in the Warrior's mind, cold hard logic, commands, protocols, yes and no, zero and one, you can and you can't. So with hundreds of calculations processed in a second, the Warrior determined the organic as a threat, he aimed his Gauss Flayer and prepared to fire.

But a voice interrupted him, the voice of someone overseeing the war.

"No! Protect humans. Take them to the harbor."

The Warrior lowered his weapon and approached the organics, intending to carry out his orders, unfortunately, due to his lack of conscience, the Warrior lacked finesse, he would carry out his orders even if he had to break the organics' legs and drag them through the floor.

Fortunately, an Immortal appeared and took control of the situation.

"You, organic, take your offspring and accompany us." The Immortal spoke monotonously, pointing at the woman and her daughter.

The woman recoiled in fright, surprised that the Immortal was able to speak.

"This is an order." The Immortal pointed his Gauss Blaster, a slight edge of impatience in his voice.

With the gun pointed in her face, the woman grabbed her daughter tightly and followed the Immortal out of the alley, where she had a vision of Warriors and scarabs pulling humans from the rubble of collapsed houses, or pulling them out of their homes.

The humans were herded into a group, surrounded by the Necron and taken in a hasty march to the harbor.

"Who are you?" A childish voice asked curiously.

It was the little girl being carried by her mother.

"SSSHHH!" Her mother tried to shut her daughter up.

"We are…" The Immortal replied without turning around, but his speech was cut off as the light in the Immortal's eyes intensified.

"We are Space Marines from the Phantom Knights Chapter; we are here to help you." The Immortal said gently, emotion in his voice.

This seemed to give humans hope.

"Seriously? Are you the Emperor's Angels? The ones from the stories?" the little girl asked.

"Yes, we are, currently the Chapter Master and his Honor Guard are in the governor's palace, facing the person responsible for this invasion. Our orders are to take you to a safe location." The Immortal replied.

Some humans prayed, others made the imperial keel gesture, but in the end, some vitality returned to the group.

As they walked, the humans watched in awe at the various war machines and technology employed by the "Space Marines." Their march took them back to the harbor, where defenses were set up to ensure a steady flow of troops.

Dozens of Monoliths covered the ground, sending more Warriors and Immortals to the battlefield, the Barges of Annihilation eliminated the Daemonettes in a shower of deadly rays, and these rays were accompanied by the shots of Gauss from the lines composed of hundreds, if not thousands of warriors who occupied the place.

The sky was littered with scarabs that aided in repairing the Necrodermis of fallen warriors, or swarmed over the flying daemons and their earthly counterparts, from the great Eternity Gate, the Ghost Chests deployed more troops.

Doomstalkers positioned themselves behind Necron's lines, their long arachnid legs giving them a high view of the battle so they could assist infantry with fire from above.

Tomb Blades, Night and Doom Scythes ensured air superiority, Canoptek Spiders assisted scarabs in repairs. The port was transformed into a small fortress, groups of surviving humans arrived in droves, and all accompanied by Necrons and their war machines.

The humans were taken to the warehouses in the harbor, where they were placed in heaps, for their safety and so that they would no longer be a problem on the battlefield.

Nevertheless, despite all the Necrons forces advancing in eliminating the daemons, there was a problem, the gigantic tear in the sky, which expanded every minute, more and more daemons fell from the sky, the rain of energy turned into a storm.

A few daemons tried to fall into the midst of the Necron forces, but were cut down before they reached the ground, the devastating fire of the Barges of Annihilation tearing them to pieces, or being shredded by the swarm of scarabs that covered the sky.

Due to this, the daemons landed near the center of the city, near the palace where their leader was, in a torrent of energy balls, thousands of Daemonettes ran through the streets, Fiends knocked down walls of buildings, making a straight line towards the port, Angels of Hatred formed their own swarms to fight their flying enemies.

As the daemons advanced, new types emerged from the Immaterium and joined the battle, the swift and vicious Steeds of Slaanesh with a Daemonette mounted on their backs.

The steed had a serpentine body propelled on two long, muscular legs, with an extremely narrow head, a slender snout with eyes, from which a tongue several meters long capable of savoring the desire of mortals sticks out. With their whip-like tongues and clawed feet capable of eviscerating a human, steeds were feared beings on the battlefield.

This legion of daemons broke into a frantic race toward the harbor, where their enemies and mortals alike lay. Back in the harbor, the Necrons prepared their defenses, taking commands from a place known only to them.

The thousands of Warriors formed powerful metal immovable lines; their bodies forming an impassable wall, behind these lines, there were hundreds of Immortals, ready to assist the troops, using their battle experience and offensive capability.

Doomstalkers stood behind those lines, their Doomsday Blasters ready to reveal their name.

On the roofs of buildings, hundreds of Deathmarks took up position, ready to bring down the quadruped and mounted daemons with precise accuracy.

Barges of Annihilation took up stationary positions above the Necron forces, their guns ready to eliminate oncoming infantry.

The Canoptek Spiders hovered above the Necron lines, ready to offer auxiliary fire, repair damaged units, but they were ordered into this unusual position due to a piece of equipment they had.

The Necron forces were ready.

A cacophony of screams, laughter and groans approached, the ground shook with hundreds of hurried footsteps; the skies were filled with the sound of flapping wings. In the distance, a pink and purple mass was spotted, the demonic forces running rampant.

Protocols Initiated

It was hell, there was no better way to explain it, for a second, all the Necron units were static in complete silence, suddenly they all fired their weapons simultaneously with absurd precision, creating a literal wall of energy.

When that wall of energy hit the daemons, their mad rush turned into a meat grinder, the Warriors and Immortals fired in perfect unison, each shot hitting its target, not a single shot wasted.

The Barges of Annihilation fired their cannons in arcs, taking out rows of frenzied daemons, if their desire for pleasure didn't cloud their reason, they would realize the mistake they've made.

Deathmarks, with their inhuman accuracy heightened by protocol, took out Zealots and Steeds in their frantic rushes, shots blasting holes in their heads and hitting the daemons close behind.

Doomstalkers fired their Blasters, leaving straight lines of incinerated daemons and molten stone nearly a mile away.

But even with all that firepower, the daemons were an endless legion, for every daemon eliminated, a hundred more fell from the sky, and the banished would reform in Warp and return soon enough, with their deadly speed, few daemons managed to cross the line of hellfire.

Initiating Monolith Phalanx Formation.

Suddenly, the Monoliths floated in groups of five and charged towards the Necron lines, the Monoliths landed right behind the units, then the orbs on top of these large constructions spun and gathered energy.

That energy peaked.

Activating Nodal Grid

Then a ray of energy came out of an orb and hit the Monolith's orb beside it, this process repeated until a circle of energy was formed by each group of Monoliths, this circle expanded until it formed a kind of green dome that covered the Necron units.

The daemons reached the Necron lines, with smiles on their faces, having their enemy within range at last, the pleasure of tearing them to pieces was all the daemons craved.

A Daemonette extended her claw and tried to pierce a Warrior's chest, only for her claw to be bent at an unnatural angle as it hit the Warrior, so the legion of daemons crashed into the Necron lines, only to find they couldn't advance, the Necron were like a metallic wall, immovable and indestructible.

This is due to the formation of the Monoliths, this particular formation, in certain places in the fourth dimensional universe, can emit a waveform of frequency with the effect of distorting space-time to create a powerful energy field known as a nodal grid, within the which Necron units are almost impossible to destroy.

And the daemons discovered this first hand, daemons slammed against the Necron, using their claws, tongues, hooves and tails, they tried to knock down the metallic beings in front of them, but ended up doing more damage to themselves.

Activating Gloom Prisms

With that command, the Canoptek Spiders revealed the purpose of their positioning on the front lines, from a small opening on the spider's back, a Gloom stone in the shape of a prism floated and spun at great speed.

Energy built up in the prism, as an incessant hum was caused by its workings, as fast as the prism spun, it stopped, and then a blast of energy was released from the prism, harmless to Necrons, deadlier to daemons.

For with the activation of each spider's prism, a null field was created, the daemons at the forefront screamed in pain as the null field attacked the energy that formed their bodies and banished them to the Immaterium, the daemons right behind suffered the same fate.

Then a command was issued.

"Advance!"

In addition, the command was carried out methodically.

With the fire of their weapons, the semi-invulnerability guaranteed by the Nodal Grid and the Null Fields generated by the Spiders, the Necron had everything they needed to eliminate the Daemons in front of them, the night was long, but at that moment, the air was filled by the sound of Gauss fire, the agonized scream of daemons, and the pace of an incessant, synchronous march.

XXXXXX

Haratek flew in a swirl of confused colors, there was something wrong with the Eternity Gate, and its usual green was replaced by this disturbing multicolored mass.

But he wouldn't let that stop him, his lord gave a direct order and she would carry it out, unfortunately for Haratek, the daemons had another plan.

"HAHAHA!" A high-pitched laugh echoed through Eternity's Gate.

Looking back, Haratek saw an energy ball flying towards him, Haratek was caught off guard being hit in the back, the two were sent spinning through the gate, the energy ball took shape, and Haratek came face to face with the smiling face of a Daemonette.

"HAHAHA! Greetings my new little toy!" The Daemonette screamed as she tried to decapitate Haratek with one of her claws.

Haratek grabbed the Daemonettes wrist in time, stopping the blow, but Haratek realized that this Daemonette differed, her strength was immense, and slowly the Daemonettes claw came closer to his face.

The Daemonette used her second claw to try to slash Haratek in the chest, with a powerful kick, Haratek sent the Daemonette flying.

"HAHA! Look at that! You have courage in that metallic body of yours; I'll have fun ripping you to pieces!" The Daemonette screamed, lunging forward and charging at Haratek.

The two ended up breaking through the energy wall of the Eternity's Gate and disappearing.

Outside the Eternity Gate, in the material world, sparks and bolts of green and purple energy surged into the air, this energy increased, creating an unearthly gale, with a blinding flash, a hole was opened in reality and from that hole, a meteor of green energy and purple fell.

This meteor ripped through the sky at great speed and hit the rocky surface of an island. When the meteor hit the ground, two individuals rolled across the surface; one of them was a metallic skeleton and the other a purple monster.

Haratek and the Daemonette rolled across the floor, the Daemonette trying to slash Haratek and Haratek trying to push the creature away, during the conflict, Haratek put his foot on the Daemonettes stomach and kicked her over him, the Daemonette performed a somersault in the air and landed with feet together and arms outstretched, bowing to an audience that didn't exist.

Haratek got up and floated in front of the Daemonette "I'll deal with you later."

Haratek opened a new Eternity Gate and entered it, only for the gate to close and when it opened, Haratek was back on the island, facing the Daemonette.

"Hm!" With a grunt of frustration, Haratek flew off the island, only to collide with a pink barrier that prevented him from advancing, the barrier popping up and disappearing quickly on impact.

Haratek returned to the island and stopped in front of the Daemonette. Looking around, Haratek recognized this place, the Rugged Isles, Gol D. Loota's former hideout, and now a lifeless stone in the middle of the ocean after the attack on that place.

Looking towards the Horizon, Haratek saw the tomb raised out of the water, the pink sky above the human island, and the great Eternity Gate.

"I won't leave here until I defeat you, will I?" Haratek asked, readying his rod of night.

"You're smart, and you're right. For this night, you'll be my partner, if you beat me, you're out of here, but if you lose, well, let's just say I'll find out what makes a being like you feel pain." The Daemonette said sadistically, opening and closing her claws.

"You differ from other creatures I've faced." Haratek said, circling the Daemonette and she did the same, circling Haratek.

"Oh! You noticed! I am flattered! I am a Herald of Slaanesh, a Daemonette favored and privileged by my goddess, her blessing has granted me deadly power, I have slaughtered millions in the name of my goddess, I am known by many names across hundreds of civilizations, but you may call me Lustfury, The Queen of Avarice."

The Daemonette bragged.

"Haratek." The Cryptek replied, analyzing the Daemonette, she was taller and more muscular than a normal Daemonette, wearing a long purple skirt with room for her legs to move, a bronze breastplate, bronze shoulder pads, a crown that gave the impression of long hair, on its arms, long and great claws, bigger than any Daemonette.

"BHOO! No titles? No introductions? Just a name? You are not funny!" Lustfury leapt towards Haratek at an insane speed.

Haratek blocked the Daemonettes blow with his rod, pushing the Daemonette away, Haratek tried to hit the daemon in the head, but the daemon leaned back, showing great flexibility and leaning on her claws, tried to kick Haratek in the head.

Haratek leaned to the side, letting the blow pass, then he twirled the rod in his hand and tried to strike Lustfury in the stomach with the tip of his weapon, with a swift twist of her body, Lustfury tried to kick Haratek in the side of the head.

Haratek put his left arm in the way, but the kick was hard enough to send his feet skidding across the floor, leaping to his feet, Lustfury lunged forward with a sadistic grin on her face.

Haratek swung his rod, electricity flowing through the adorned weapon and fired a series of bolts at Lustfury, thanks to her absurd speed, Lustfury dodged the beams with unnatural grace and beauty, each bolt leaving a hole of molten stone as it hit the ground.

One of Haratek's bolts seemed to hit Lustfury, creating a large cloud of smoke, but from that cloud a figure leapt into the air, it was Lustfury, Haratek shot more bolts towards the Daemonette, but she dodged them all, spinning and contorting her body in the air. Stunts that would shatter a mortal's bones.

As she fell, Lustfury dove with both feet towards Haratek's chest, Haratek put his rod in front, blocking the Daemonettes blow, and Lustfury used Haratek as support to throw herself backwards, landing in a crouching position with her claws raised.

In a burst of speed that cracked the island's soil, Lustfury attacked Haratek, intending to cut off his legs, Haratek floated, letting Lustfury pass beneath him, while in the air, he slashed downwards with his rod, trying to hit Lustfury in the back, but the Daemonette managed to get right through the attack.

But Haratek wasn't finished, when his rod hit the ground, still floating, Haratek used the rod as support and spun around his weapon, facing Lustfury and kicked her back, throwing the Daemonette away.

The Daemonette rolled across the ground, digging her claws into the earth to recover in time to block Haratek's next attack, the Cryptek didn't plan to give the Daemonette an opportunity, quickly darting towards his enemy, Haratek planned to smash the Daemonettes head with a blow from above.

Lustfury managed to block in time, raising her claws above her head like a shield; Haratek's strike released a shock wave and sunk the Daemonettes' feet into the ground. Then Haratek energized his rod, electrifying Lustfury, but that only excited the Daemonette.

"Impressive, no one has ever lasted this long with me!" Lustfury screamed ecstasy in her voice as electricity coursed through her body.

"Clearly you need to be reminded why we are the most feared in this galaxy." Haratek replied with anger in his voice.

Spinning his rod, Haratek tried to hit Lustfury in the chin, with a blow coming from below, the Daemonette jumped back, dodging the blow and stepping on a large rock on the island, she propelled herself forward, spinning her body in the air, the Daemonette delivered a spinning kick to Haratek, hitting him in the chest and sending him backwards.

"Serious? So show me! Show me what you're capable of!" Lustfury screamed.

"With pleasure." Haratek replied.

Suddenly from Haratek's back, several arms appeared, these arms moved away from Haratek, revealing to be two copies equal to the original. Pointing their rods at the Daemonette, the two Harateks advanced, one on the left and one on the right.

The Haratek on the left tried to hit Lustfury in the head, while the one on the right tried to hit Lustfury in the legs, using one of her claws, Lustfury blocked the blow towards her head and making a small jump, dodged the blow towards her legs and stepped on the rod of the Haratek on the right, pinning the weapon to the ground.

Using her other leg, she kicked the right Haratek in the chin, knocking him back and using the staff as support, took a big leap and kicked the left Haratek in the side of the head, knocking him to the side. Then Lustfury charged towards the original Haratek with her claws raised.

The two Harateks stood in Lustfury's way, but the Daemonette didn't care, she sank her claws into the chest of each copy of the Cryptek, for a moment nothing happened, until the fake Harateks exploded in a strong blinding light.

Lustfury screamed as her eyes were attacked by the light, the Daemonette backed away, her claws covering her face in an attempt to protect herself, unfortunately for Lustfury, this was a mistake, suddenly the Daemonette was hit in the stomach by something, that something lifted her on the air.

Gradually receiving her vision, Lustfury found herself facing Haratek from above, looking down, Lustfury saw that Haratek lifted her into the air with his rod, and then came to pain.

"AAAAHHH! HAHAHA!" Lustfury laughed and screamed as agonizing electricity assaulted her body, in a mixture of untold pain and overwhelming pleasure, the Daemonette screamed, her muscles spasming, her flesh burning, Lustfury felt her eyes melt, the crown and clothes she wore caught fire, searing her body and adding a new kind of pain.

This was heaven for Lustfury.

"HAHAHA! M-more!" The Daemonette screamed, wrapping her claws around Haratek's staff, fighting the electricity, Lustfury wrenched herself free of the weapon, and sliding down the weapon, Lustfury caught Haratek by surprise with the action.

During her fall, Lustfury caught Haratek's left shoulder between her right claws and closed it, separating Haratek's left arm from his body. Haratek stepped back in surprise, and quickly caught his weapon with his remaining arm before it fell to the ground.

Swinging his rod, Haratek tried to strike the flaming Lustfury on her head, but the Daemonette ducked, dodging the blow, Haratek raised his rod above his head and tried to crush Lustfury with another blow, but the Daemonette was faster, and darting forward at in a squatting position.

She placed Harateks right leg between her left claw and closed it, separating Harateks leg from his body at thigh level, Haratek had to lean on his weapon to keep from falling, surprise preventing him from floating for the moment.

That was more than enough time for Lustfury to kick Haratek in the chest, knocking him away, Haratek landed on his back on the ground, with a burst of speed Lustfury ran forward and performed a huge leap, diving with both feet into Haratek's chest, luckily the Cryptek was incapable of feeling pain, but the damage was worrisome.

Lustfury sat on top of Haratek and then lay on the Cryptek's chest, stroking him with her claw.

"You know, I will miss you. No one has ever taken me on such a fun date, I feel like our night together was special but unfortunately it has to end. Don't worry; I'll bring something special to remember you by." Lustfury said with sadness in her voice, whether it was fake or genuine only Lustfury knew.

Lustfury placed one of her claws on Haratek's neck, ready to decapitate him.

Haratek glared at Lustfury with his one eye, letting out a long sigh, Haratek spoke "This galaxy has really forgotten who we are."

Suddenly Haratek's eye glowed brightly, all regions of his body where the green light normally shined intensified, and then the pain returned to Lustfury, green lightning covered Haratek's body, electrocuting Lustfury.

The Cryptek had activated its Lightning Field, normally a device that would only electrocute those who got close to the user, but Haratek was not a normal Cryptek, all of his pieces of technology were modified and integrated into his body by himself.

Unexpectedly, something grabbed Lustfury's head, covering her right eye and burning part of her face, Haratek had a new arm now, a left arm made of emerald lightning.

"AAAHHH!" Lustfury screamed as her face was burned, still holding Lustfury Haratek stood up, now with a new right leg, similar to his new arm, when he touched the ground, Haratek's right foot melted the stone he stepped on.

"I will show you why we are god-slayers." Haratek threw Lustfury away with great strength, the Daemonette rolled across the floor, her body colliding like a stone on the surface of a lake.

"That's nothing! I am Lustfury, chosen by my goddess! I'll show you why! So come closer and see the true power of the Queen of Avarice!" Lustfury screamed, recovering from Haratek's blow.

Haratek walked towards Lustfury, each step leaving a pool of molten stone, the rays from Haratek's arm ran across the ground, slightly melting what they found in their path.

Then Haratek disappeared.

"Well, that might be a problem…"

Lustfury heard a voice behind her, the Daemonette shivered as she felt a hand on her shoulder and the pain of her flesh burning.

"…I'm already behind you."

Lustfury jumped out of the grip and turning, saw Haratek staring at her, with a scream of rage, Lustfury tried to hit Haratek in the chest, but Haratek disappeared in a flash of green lightning.

"Where did you…" However, Lustfury didn't finish, the Daemonette was viciously slashed on the side of the head, the blow releasing a powerful shock wave, similar to a sonic boom.

The Daemonette was sent inland, her body flying like a cannonball. As Lustfury flew, a mass of green lightning passed her body, stopping further, and this mass revealed Haratek, raising his rod; Haratek slammed the Daemonettes body against the ground.

With a shock wave, Lustfury was violently thrown against the stone floor, creating huge cracks and a hole in the shape of her body outline.

The earth shook as Lustfury leapt out of the hole, fury in her eyes, wounds covering her body, her bronze breastplate destroyed, her crown and clothes reduced to ash, her face burned and disfigured, the crazed Daemonette tried to attack Haratek again, her fury clouding her judgment.

But the Daemonette never got the chance, Haratek disappeared, and what came next was impossible for normal eyes to capture, Lustfury was assailed by a barrage of blows, each powerful enough to shatter bone and tear away chunks of flesh.

Haratek had turned into a storm of green lightning around Lustfury, the Cryptek disappeared at one point and would appear at another, delivering deadly blows successively, for mere mortals, Lustfury was surrounded by a circle of lightning.

No matter how hard Lustfury fought, she would never reach her target, with every step Haratek took, the rocky ground melted and a sound of thunder echoed across the island, a blue mist formed around the Cryptek, a result of the electrified air around it.

With a final blow, Haratek hurled Lustfury away again, the Daemonettes flight stopped as her back collided with a large rock, the injured Daemonette tried to rise, but the mass of lightning returned, slamming Lustfury against the rock and sinking her body into it.

Haratek struck Lustfury's head repeatedly, with each blow a powerful shock wave was released, and a deafening sound echoed through the island, the Daemonette could no longer fight, her body bruised and broken; her vision was darkening, her body falling apart into energy.

"I'm not done with you yet." Haratek said, pulling his rod back and slamming one end into Lustfury's forehead, slamming her head into the stone, and then releasing a wave of electricity.

Lustfury screamed, the pain intensified by Haratek's Lightning Field, the stone Lustfury was trapped in melted on top of her body, lightning ran across the surface of the island, turning the place into a landscape of war, when Haratek finished, the daemon did not showed signs of consciousness.

Haratek retreated exhausted, using so much energy left him in critical condition, but he still had a mission to accomplish, pointing his rod upwards and shooting a beam, Haratek saw that the barrier no longer existed; Haratek glanced at the Daemonette who was standing there.

"Normally I would eliminate you, but now I have the opportunity to study creatures like you, plus I believe my Lord would like another trophy for his collection." Haratek said teleporting a Tesseract Labyrinth in his hand.

Haratek touched the cube to Lustfury's forehead and the Daemonette disappeared, holding the cube in front of his eye, Haratek checked Lustfury's diminutive form, sending the cube away, Haratek opened a new Eternity Gate, but the gate still had a rosy tone.

"The longer way then." Haratek took flight and dashed towards the tomb, his form creating ripples in the water and the lightning from his limbs rushing across the surface, midway through, the lightning in Haratek's body grew weaker, and eventually his arm and leg disappeared.

As Haratek approached the tomb, an opening appeared in the side, entering through the opening, Haratek flew through the great halls and walkways of the tomb, past the thousands of awakened Necrons and War Machines.

Eventually Haratek reached the pylon room, but there was a Necron in his way, it was a Necron with his body covered in golden adornments, his body looking like a work of art that displayed power and wealth, it was a Noble Necron.

"You, Cryptek! I order you to explain what is happening this minute!" The Noble demented, but Haratek's response was not what he expected.

"Get out of my way! I don't take orders from you!" Haratek yelled, slamming his rod into the side of the Noble's head, throwing him against the wall.

Approaching the pylon, Haratek quickly typed with his single arm on a green holographic screen, then the great machine came to life, a green light glowed at the base of the pylon, that light rose and intensified, shining brightly through the holes in the construction.

A humming sound grew louder and louder, then with a sound similar to an imperial titan war horn, a powerful green beam shot upwards from the top of the tomb, pushing away the ocean surrounding the tomb and opening a hole in the clouds in the sky, the ray fired by the pylon hit the pink sky, and the big tear in reality began to close.

"Advance!"

CLANG!

I was taken out of my concentration by something colliding with my body, my vision returned and I saw the world around me, and what I saw were the Warriors and Immortals destroyed, torn to pieces, being teleported back to the tomb.

The thing that collided with my body was Thaszan with a big gash on his chest, looking at the Keeper of Secrets, I saw Rahkikh blocking a slash from the Keeper's spear with his shield, but the blow was strong enough to hurl Rahkikh towards us, I saw that the Lychguard had a hole in his chest.

Glancing at the Keeper of Secrets, I saw that the Greater Daemon was covered in burns and cuts from the Gauss weapons and blades of my Lychguards, but the daemon looked fine.

"My Lord, please do not worry, we will soon eliminate this abomination." Thaszan said, taking a step towards the Keeper.

"Just give us more time; you don't have to worry about getting your hands dirty with something so insignificant." Rahkikh spoke, taking a few steps with difficulty.

"Thaszan, Rahkikh, you fought well, you carried out my orders perfectly, no harm was done to me, now let me help you." I said, readying my staff and gauntlet.

"My Lord..." The Lychguards tried to speak, but I cut them off.

"You, daemon! What is your name?" I said approaching the Keeper.

"Well, well, look who decided to join us; I thought you fell asleep during our fight. Your tin toys did their best to protect you, they were annoying but I had fun breaking them and you're next." The Keeper spoke mockingly.

"That's not what I asked." While talking to the demon, I took the opportunity to send a command, since I wasn't fighting, I could concentrate while I was talking.

"Well, Malya, your trespass on my planet is a serious crime, as a punishment, you will be executed." I said to the Keeper.

"HAHAHA! What arrogance! I'll have fun breaking you!"

"That's what we'll see, but in the end I can only thank you."

"And why is that?" Malya asked curiously.

"For chatting away and giving me time."

Initiating Stratagems.

Suddenly the Eternal Protectors' stratagem took effect; Rahkikh and Thaszan were enveloped in green energy, their Necrodermis repairing itself and power emanating from their eyes, their weapons glowing brightly along their bodies, indicating the increase in power.

Stratagem of the Eternal Protectos, when their master is in danger, the Lychguard fights harder.

"Rahkikh, Thaszan, finish off our unwanted visitor." I said pointing to the Keeper.

Unanswered, Rahkikh and Thaszan charged toward the Keeper, their bodies empowered to their limits by the stratagem.

The Keeper gave a surprised look to the Lychguards that approached, as the two faced her, I concentrated and sent a command for a unit to come to the tower. With that done, I joined the fight. I cannot let Rahkikh and Thaszan do it all alone.

Running towards the Keeper, I sent a wave of lightning with my staff, quickly the Keeper put her shield in front, blocking it, simultaneously, Thaszan advanced towards the Keeper's legs, the Keeper tried to trample Thaszan, but the Lychguard quickly dodged and dealt a great cut to the Keeper's leg.

The Keeper growled in irritation and tried to impale Thaszan with one of the blades on her arms, but Rahkikh stepped in front, protecting Thaszan, even with the increase in power, the strength of a Greater Demon is not to be underestimated, Rahkikh was forced to his knees, as his shield fought the daemon's blade in a shower of sparks.

Taking advantage of the opening, I fired a series of bolts towards the Keeper, again she protected herself with her shield, but because she was busy with Rahkikh and me, Thaszan advanced towards the Keeper.

Taking a great leap, Thaszan swung his scythe into a green tornado and slashed across the Keeper's shoulder, yet the daemon was unfazed by the blow, using another of her blades, the Keeper slashed Thaszan across the chest, leaving a wide gash.

Thaszan was sent flying by the blow, with Thaszan away, the Keeper focused on Rahkikh, removing her blade from the Lychguard's shield, Malya tried to kick Rahkikh.

However, before she could do so, I walked over and pointed my gauntlet up towards the Daemon's face, a wave of green fire covered the daemon's face, and Malya let out a cry of pain as her face burned.

Taking a step back, I saw that the crown of feathers Malya wore was on fire now, Malya let out an angry scream and charged towards me, trying to pierce me repeatedly with her spear. I backed away while shooting lightning at her.

Each of her blows opened a hole in the ground and each step of her gigantic body made the ground shake, Malya blocked my lightning bolts with her shield, but I alternated in different parts of her body, legs, arms, torso, face, the shield it wasn't big enough to cover everything.

Then Malya muttered in a language unknown to me, a heap of rubble floated and enveloped my body from the waist down, a spell, I pointed the gauntlet and staff at Malya, releasing a wave of flames and lightning.

The Daemon ignored my attack, not caring about the damage done to her body, and lunged forward; her spear covered in Warp energy, and thrusted it toward me.

But the blow never came, Rahkikh jumped in front of me and blocked the blow with his shield, a mixture of demonic energy and green lightning collided in front of me, but slowly Rahkikh was pushed back, I energized my staff and hit it against the rubble that involved me, but it was taking time, the spell made these stones difficult to break.

Fortunately, Thaszan returned to the fight, using Rahkikh's shoulders as a springboard, Thaszan leapt towards Malya and landed a great slash across her face, blinding one of her eyes.

Malya backed away, fury on her face, "My face! My beautiful face! The face my goddess gave me! How dare you?!? No more playing with you!"

Malya raised her spear, Imaterium energy gathering in her weapon, with unnatural winds and voices speaking long-forgotten languages, Malya cast another spell, pointing the spear in our direction, a powerful wave of energy shot out.

Finally, I managed to break free, and I saw Rahkikh putting himself in front of the attack, when the wave collided with his shield, Rahkikh was sent backwards, his feet sinking into the ground, the shield fighting the absurd power in front of it.

Thaszan positioned himself behind Rahkikh, and placed his hands on his back, trying to keep him in place. I decided to do the same. I slammed my back against Thaszan's and dug my feet into the ground, but even the three of us together were pushed back.

"My lord?" Thaszan spoke.

"Not now, Thaszan, I need to concentrate!"

Reality was distorted, the three of us were covered in green quantum shielding, like transparent armor over our bodies, we stopped being pushed back, Malya's attack being diffused and deflected.

"Insolent beings! Die now!" Malya screamed, building up the power of her attack.

The entire tower shook in a clash of energy, I could see ripples in the air, and the fabric of reality being distorted by our actions, the attack intensified and the quantum shield fought back, suddenly I saw a flash and the world disappeared.

When it all came back I, saw we were still standing, the top of the tower was covered in smoke, I couldn't see anything around us, I heard metal breaking, looking towards the source of the noise, I saw Rahkikh raised in the air, pierced by the spear of Malya.

Malya swung her spear, throwing Rahkikh away, Thaszan tried to attack Malya, but with a swift swipe of her blade, Malya severed Thaszan's arms from his body.

I pointed my staff at Malya, but before the bolts could be fired, I received a kick in the chest, sending me flying, I fell backwards to the ground, with the daemon approaching me with heavy paws, I pointed my gauntlet at Malya, but the Daemon stepped on my arm, crushing it, as if that wasn't enough, pierced my arm with the spear, separating it from my body.

"You gave me trouble, more trouble than necessary! I was willing to play with you some more, but after what they did to my face, I will crush your head and then conquer this planet in the name of my goddess!" Malya screamed, raising her spear above her head.

Suddenly a Monolith landed on top of the tower, opening its Eternity Gate, from that gate a powerful green ray came out, hitting Malya in the chest, throwing her back. Standing up and looking at the portal, I saw the Cult of the Destroyer coming out.

Skorpekh Lords, Lokhust Destroyers, Heavy Lokhust Destroyers, Skorpekh Destroyers, Hexmark Destroyers, Ophydian Destroyers, all led by Lord Lokhust.

Dimensional Corridor Stratagem, obeying recovery protocols, this unit enters a temporary dimensional shift tunnel and respawns from the eternity gate of a nearby Monolith.

"So this is the first enemy we will face on your behalf?" Lord Lokhust asked as he approached me.

"Yes… Feel free to end this thing." I told the Lord.

"Hump! With pleasure. Attack!" Lord Lokhust commanded his troops, every member of the Cult of Destroyer rushed forward firing their weapons, and it proved to be more effective than what Rahkikh, Thaszan and I were doing.

Noble Necrons see their bodies as works of art that should not be altered, cult members don't think so, their bodies have been heavily modified for wiping out all life in the galaxy, and in other words, each of their weapons causes hellish damage.

As the destroyers fought, I approached my Lychguards.

"My Lord, I am sorry we failed." Rahkikh spoke.

"We swear this will not happen again." Thaszan spoke.

"Don't worry, you didn't fail me, I'm satisfied with your work. But now you must go." I said as I grabbed Rahkikh with one arm and led him towards the Monolith.

"My lord?" Without responding to Rahkikh, I put him into the Eternity Gate.

I did the same to Thaszan, despite his protests, also throwing my arm and Thaszan's arms.

Watching the fight, I saw that Lord Lokhust was exchanging blows with Malya. Malya tried to pierce the Lord, but he blocked the blow with his war scythe.

"FIRE!" The Lord shouted.

Every destroyer able to fire targeted Malya, their heavily modified weapons tearing chunks from the daemon and opening holes in her body. Malya used her shield to protect herself, but was left open to a blow from the war scythe that left a large gash in her torso.

Malya tried to strike the destroyer with one of her blades, but her arm was severed from her body by a blast from the Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, his Emitic Exterminator, obliterating the daemon's flesh.

Malya tried to dodge the shots that assaulted her body, but the Ophydian Destroyers dove to the ground and out from under Malya's feet, wrapping their slender bodies around her legs and ripping the daemon's legs apart with their claws and Hyperphasic Threshers.

This forced Malya to her knees, bringing her low enough for the Skorpekh Lord and the Skorpekh Destroyers to attack with their Hyperphasic Reap Blades and Hyperphasic Threshers, in the Lord's case with his Hyperphasic Reaper, Sundering Claw and an Emitic Annihilator. Filling Malya's body with deep cuts and shredding flesh.

While everyone else was busy fighting, I took control of a scarab swarm, ordered the scarabs to circle the lower area of the tower, wrap around the Psyker holding the minor portal open, and take her to the Eternity Gate.

"Fool, I don't need the girl anymore! Did you look at the sky?!? This planet will be ours!" Malya screamed, impaling a Skorpekh Destroyer with her spear.

"My lord! It's done!"

"Very well, Haratek, take care of the human I sent to the tomb!"

"Yes, my lord!"

I heard Haratek's voice in my head. I "smiled" at that. Suddenly everyone heard the sound of a siren, a powerful green light illuminated the entire island, looking back, I saw a gigantic green ray coming out of the tomb and heading towards the sky, the portal that tore the sky was closing.

"NO!" Malya screamed desperately when she saw the portal closing, I noticed that the daemon was slower; its blows slower, the weapons of the Destroyers did more damage, the connection with the Imaterium being severed by the Pylon.

"You will pay for this… AAHHH!" Malya screamed as Lord Lokhust severed her jaw from her body with a swipe of his scythe.

"You talk too much." The Lord pointed the tip of his scythe at Malya's face and fired a powerful Gauss beam, taking a piece of her head.

"AAAHHH!" With a scream of fury, Malya summoned the last bit of power she had left before she was banished to the Immaterium.

Swinging her spear, Malya ripped away the Ophydian Destroyers that enveloped her legs, with a swing of her shield, Malya sent the Skorpekh away, and using her remaining blade, attacked Lord Lokhust, the Lord blocked the blow with his scythe, but was pushed away.

Raising her spear again, Malya built energy into her weapon, using one last spell she readied her final strike, a literal tornado of Warp energy covered her weapon, screaming faces swirled around the spear as colored lights danced wildly.

"Tell me you have a plan for this." Lord Lokhust said beside me.

"Actually, yes, I just needed to get the girl out of the line of fire." I replied to the lord.

"Line of Fire?" the Lord asked.

I smiled as the unit I had called arrived, floating right behind us, the Tesseract Vault had arrived, the great machine opened, revealing the C'tan shard inside, I saw Malya's eyes widen.

"HAHAHA!" I laughed maniacally at what I was about to say.

"C'TAN, USE ANTIMATTER METEOR!" I yelled pointing at Malya.

The Vault forced the C'tan to do my bidding, the C'tan screamed in agony as its body was forced to use its power, a roiling orb of antimatter formed in front of the ark and shot towards Malya, simultaneously Malya launched her last attack.

The meteor clashed with Malya's lightning, the two attacks battling for dominance, reality falling apart around us, glimpses of other dimensions being revealed as the fabric of reality was forced to its limit, but even with all the blessings of her goddess, the daemon was no match for a star god shard.

Malya's attack was overcomed, the meteor advancing more and more at great speed, Malya raised her shield, but it was in vain, the shield, her arm and soon after her body, were obliterated, erased from existence by the enormous and ancient power of a C'tan.

"AAAHHH!" With one last cry of despair, Malya was no more.

When the smoke cleared, and the sounds of fighting ended, I realized what I just did, I permanently killed a Greater Demon, and I doubt it will ever go back to the Immaterium after being obliterated by a C'tan.

"HAHAHA!" I laughed at the absurdity of the situation, looking at the sky, I saw that the portal was almost closed, taking a quick look at the city, I saw that the Gauss fire was decreasing, the daemons must be banished by now.

"Our goal is to eliminate all life in the galaxy, and the first enemy you make us face is one that doesn't bleed. How cruel of you." Lord Lokhust said, approaching me.

"What's the problem? You had fun, didn't you?" I asked the Lord.

"Hump! I must admit. You weren't that bad either. I will watch your progress, Overlord." The Lord said, returning to the Monolith with the other destroyers.

"My Lord, we have a problem!"

Haratek spoke to me.

"WHAT NOW?!?"

XXXXXX

Tomb

In the tomb's throne room, dozens of Necron Nobles gathered, they argued among themselves, the reason for the argument long forgotten.

"ORDER! ORDER!" A Necron Noble called out, slamming his staff to the ground, and sitting up on the throne.

The nobles fell silent, waiting for the seated Necron to speak.

"As everyone can see, the Tomb Overlord is missing, and his location is unknown, we have to assume that he was eliminated in his sleep…"

As the Nobleman spoke, the listening Nobles moved out of the way when they saw someone approaching behind them, they backed away in fright upon realizing who the figure was.

"…Therefore, I declare myself the new ruler of the tomb…"

The figure climbed the stairs leading to the throne and stopped in front of the nobleman.

"…Does anyone have any objections?" The noble finally finished bragging and noticed the figure in front of him, the noble fell silent immediately when he realized who it was, because the Overlord of the tomb was staring at him and he didn't look happy.

"You are in my seat." The Overlord spoke, swinging his staff and hitting the nobleman on the head, knocking him off the throne and making him fall a considerable height, so the Overlord sat on the throne, resting his head on the arm that had not been removed.

"Excuse me… Let me pass…" A voice said between sighs, it was Haratek, missing an arm and a leg, the Cryptek passed by the nobles and climbed the stairs of the throne, using his rod as a support.

Next to the Cryptek, there were two Lychguards, one without arms and the other with a big hole in his chest, the two stopped in front of the throne. In addition, Haratek stood beside the throne.

"Ladies and gentlemen… I present to you Akatosahk Ulthagakh, the Denied, Wretched Herald of the Impenetrable Eclipse, the Foreseeing Spiteful Keeper of the Cursed Distortion, the Collector of the Cryptic Labyrinth, Slayer of Orks and the Scourge of Demons!" Haratek said with difficulty.

"COULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!?"
