Chapter 2

Days passed by as Naruto started to slowly accept that he had gone back to the past as rock lee and he can't use anything but taijutsu. He had already been given a clear by inoichi yamanaka about his mental state being a little shaken due to the battle and that he would recover soon enough. Gai was still worried about his student so he visited whenever he could and tried to encourage him.

Naruto also met Neji, Tenten, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Sakura, Kakashi and the rest. But what surprised him the most was meeting another him, younger still, but he had black hair and blue eyes with the familiar whisker marks but his name wasn't Naruto. That information made him realise that maybe he is in a completely different world that's similar to his. This version of him was apparently called Menma that went through everything that he himself went through but this one felt closer to his worlds version of Sasuke or better yet he looked like any Sasuke bastard. Even this one has this brooding look when he comes and goes. Definitely need to remove that long stick that's stuck up his ass before he starts putting sticks in other people's asses just because he has one.

The oddest thing that Naruto found out though was that his healing factor was still there although he couldn't use chakra or kurama's chakra, it seems he still had the same regeneration ability as the him before. That was one good news and the other was that he would be released in another week, all in all, he would be spending a month in the hospital.

Then came the bad news, if he was in Lee's body than where was Lee, did he die or he was sent to his body in the future or something. The second bad news was, he had no idea who Lee interacted with other than Gai, Neji, Tenten and himself. Then there was the problem of not knowing how Lee fought and how he used the Eight Gates and his memories. He knew nothing except of what he had done and a few others back in his world and the thought that his negligence may have caused another one of his friends to die, haunted him.

He decided, if he can't find a way to get Lee back than he would at the least accomplish the dream he had. To become the strongest Taijutsu master throughout the lands and also to teach this Menma kid the right way. Don't want another Sasuke here when one is already one to many.

With renewed conviction and resolve, Naruto set forth to eat and sleep like nobody's business. Oh, i meant Lee decided to chow and sleep for the upcoming events of the future.

Gai pov

Lee has been weird these days and it's starting to worry me, although inouichi said everything is fine just that he may have been a little rattled due to the attack. I cant help but worry since at times he mutters weird things and the look he had when he saw young Menma like he had seen a ghost and the look of annoyance when he looked at Sasuke and Sakura. It can't be that he forgot who he himself is right, although I've heard about some ninjas losing their minds and some developing weird personalities; it can't be happening to Lee right? No No No, i am sure there is nothing wrong with him, i can still see the fire of youth burn fiercely in his eyes. Definitely fine.

It has been a week and it seems Lee has started to come together and has already healed enough to at the least walk albeit slowly. But i hope he stays longer in the hospital so that he can be fully healed before leaving. I don't want him get further hurt.

It's been 2 weeks and Lee wanted to talk to me about something, it seems it was something serious enough for him to ask someone to send me a message.

"LEE! I am here. What was it that you wanted to talk about?"

"GAI-SENSEI! I AM SORRY! I FORGOT ALL YOUR TEACHINGS AND EVERYTHING! I AM SORRY GAI-SENSEI, I LET YOU DOWN!"

Okay. This is not what i had expected but it seems he is telling the truth. Damn that inouichi, how his Lee fine already. I need to talk with him after this but for now,

"LEE, RAISE YOUR HEAD. HOW CAN I BE DISAPPOINTED. IF YOU FORGOT EVERYTHING I'LL TEACH IT YOU ALL OVER AGAIN TILL YOU CAN NEVER EVER FORGET, SO THAT YOUR BODY REMEMBERS IT ALL. ONCE YOU ARE ALL HEALED UP, WE'LL BEGIN TRAINING TWICE NO TEN TIMES HARDER. LET THE FLAMES OF YOUTH BURN HARDER THAN EVER BEFORE."

"GAI- SENSEI!!"

"LEE!!!"

"GAI- SENSEI!!"

GAI and LEE start hugging each other while crying and as they are doing that the sunsets and an orange glow shines on them. No, dont look at it. It's a SSSS-Forbidden Jutsu where once you look you'll be doomed and also turn into a stone. It's like a physical Genjutsu, a genjutsu that effects the physical world.

ARRRRGH! NO HELP!!! I AM TURNING TO STONE.

A/N : well its the second chapter now and i don't really know if i did a good job at depicting their unique characteristics or not. If not i hope you guys can help me with it whenever there us something that a certain character wouldn't do in the situations i make.

Also can someone tell me just in case whether Menma is evil or not. Like he is the evil counterpart of Naruto right?
