24 Mock Battle

When Rudy was outside of the Greyrat house, the three adults are having a serious conversation.

"I think I'm against for Rudy to leave us... I'm worried that something might happen to our son..." Although Zenith was already gave her approval about Rudy leaving on a journey, she's having second thoughts due to his enigmatic abilities.

When Rudy was trying to convince his parents to let Sylphy go to him in Ranoa University, explains to him about Rudy didn't reach advance in his sword lessons, his age are not 12 yet, and about the expenses.

Rudy already knows that he will be hired as Eris's Home tutor, so he just play all along with them and satisfy them about becoming advance in all the sword styles and wait patiently until he becomes 12 years old

Zenith immediately intervene and explain to his child that if he allowed to use this kind of magic in the open, it may attract a group with evil intentions like slave traders, bandits or even nobles.

Rudy compromised that he won't use his transmutation magic with one condition, they must find a suitable job for him and earned Sylphy's tuition. Which makes his parents agreed, at least for now.

Zenith suddenly thought something that it might work.

"What if we introduce our son to a person who has demon eye, maybe she can help our son." Zenith's suggestion makes Paul shocked.

"Oh right! We can ask our friend Ghyslaine!" Paul declared happily while Zenith nods with approval look.

"Who's Ghyslaine?" Lilia, who's still a bodyguard of the princess at that time, didn't meet Zenith and Paul's previous member and friend, Ghyslaine.

"Ghyslaine Dedoldia, one of the beast race who has cat lineage, she's also a sword saint and has demon eye in her right eye." Zenith tried to remember any information of Ghyslaine.

"Rudy still stuck at intermediate in his sword styles, so she can help him, and Ghyslaine can help him about his demon eyes." Now Paul was excited that they had lead on helping Rudeus about his demon eyes.

There was once a promising party of adventurers before, the members are Paul, Zenith, Ghyslaine, Elinalise and Talhand. But there acting leader, Paul Greyrat took advantage of everything, like when Ghyslaine's mating season, Elinalise's deep curse and Zenith's innocence.

And suddenly, Paul decided to elope with Zenith, making Ghyslaine and Elinalise become disappointed. One thing led to another and the promising party of adventurers has been disbanded.

"I already know where Ghyslaine was, according to my cousin, Philip, he's been hired as a bodyguard by my uncle Sauros." Paul informed his two wives about where she is.

"Come to think of it, they tried really hard to find a tutor for there daughter. Philip said to me in one of his letters before that his daughter has a temperament... I think I know now what Rudeus's job will be." Paul added while sneering.

"You're going to send Rudy in the Boreas household? Okay, I approve it, since I can trust Hilda on taking care of our son." Though Zenith was refusing before, deep inside, she thinks that letting Rudy find his path was still the best thing. After all, she also abandoned her name Latreia, a prominent family who believes in Millis Religion.

The three adults decided to make a letter for Ghyslaine and Philip. They also want to inform Rawls to delay Sylphy from going here when they start there operation.

Paul suddenly receives a letter that came from his cousin. Seeing this, Rudy thought something that the plot was now advancing, so he prepared himself on what's to come.

When Rudy was helping Zenith on taking care her garden in the courtyard, Paul suddenly approach us, with wooden sword in hand and look at Zenith intently. Of course, Zenith already know that there plan was starting.

"Rudy, I'm going to look your sisters now, you should have a talk with your Dad for the time being. I bet he wants to tell you something important." Rudy smiles at her mom and nods, then Zenith proceed to his sisters to look after them.

"Since your mom was gone now, I'm going to ask you an important question." Paul didn't wait any longer and asked him bluntly.

"What is it, dad?" Rudy tried his best to become innocent and looks at him with curiosity.

"If I tell you that I want you to separate with Sylphy, what would you do?" Paul's question was hinting him that this is the plot that he's waiting for.

Rudy looks at his dad with Scarlet Sharingan in his eyes.

"Then you have to defeat me first, father." Rudy declared him full of confidence.

Looking at his son, Paul activated his immense touki and suddenly slash downward diagonally, making him hit his shoulders.

When he saw his son was screaming with pain on the ground, he steeled his heart and look at his son with intimidating look.

"Now that you're defeated, I guess you have to give up and separate with Sylphy." Paul said.

"Who says that I already lose?"

Paul was shocked and immediately look behind him and saw Rudy, standing without any injury in shoulders. He still his demon eyes on and steel short sword, probably made out of iron magic.

He then look at the child on the ground who still clutching his shoulder, Paul was trying to comprehend something that's unimaginable, wherein this previous Rudy, who was been hit in the right shoulder, was disintegrating with black crows.

"So you think your cheap magic will make you win? Then think again." Paul become more serious and didn't underestimate his son.

He applied his thick touki in his wooden sword and approach Rudy with only one step.

But before Paul could apply his thick touki in his wooden sword, he didn't wait any longer and step up the game.

[First Gate: Gate of Opening, open!]

His mana was suddenly increased and applied his mana with his iron short sword and also with armament haki. But the thing is, he let his Dad approach him to wait for his strike.

'We'll see who will win, your touki or my haki?' He didn't let his thoughts escape while still grinning at his first battle.

This is the debut of his five inheritances, in the original story, Rudeus suffered defeat in his father. Since his Dad are being serious on trying to incapacitate Rudy, he use this chance to show him what he's capable of.

Paul was now in front of Rudy and slash horizontally, but when the wooden sword connect to his son, it suddenly permeates in his body, like an afterimage.

Using shunpo with Ichigo's afterimage, he was now far away from his father.

Before Paul could react, Rudy immediately gather a lot of mana in his left hand and produce a Rasengan. But he didn't stop there and apply it with lightning magic.

When Paul's instinct tells him that there's danger coming from behind, he tried to dodge it and look behind. He was confused that all that he can see was Rudy's long distance.

'Something's off, what might it...' Paul's thoughts suddenly cuts off.

"Arrgghh!" Paul look at his left hand, and was fully injured when hit by a strange blue ball.

He grit his teeth and apply some touki in his damaged left arm, it somehow slowly healing.

'Hmmm... I'm not aware that touki also capable of healing... Oh right, if I use the logic about using chakra to heal a ninja like what Tsunade and Sakura do, then it's not strange.' Though he still couldn't believe how remarkable his dad was.

His touki was great and Paul controls it with finesse. His instinct was not bad, to think he reacted to the Vanishing Rasengan. But in the end, Rudy was convinced that he has the upper hand in this battle.

When Paul was trying to recover his left hand, he didn't took his eyes off on Rudy, who was still standing. Then he suddenly feel that his strength increased once more. He finally remembered when he make Rudy do some exercise before, this is the same thing.

[Second gate: Gate of Healing, open!]

Rudy feels power coursing through his veins. If he wants to defeat his father, then he have to do this seriously.

Paul suddenly noticed that the changes of his son are not entirely on mana. He look carefully, and his son's demon eyes are slightly changing, making his two tomoe, becomes three tomoe.

His son suddenly walk towards him without a care in the world. When he saw that, his body instinctively do defensive position, being wary on what Rudy might do.

When Paul's eyes suddenly blink, Rudy was now gone in front of him, then he instinctively look behind him while striking. His instinct is correct, he saw his son also trying to strike him upward diagonally. If he delayed it a few seconds, he might not move due to being hit in his spinal column.

Paul's wooden sword with thick touki and Rudy's iron short sword with mana and armament haki are have met. Paul's eyes become widen because his sword was cut like butter and trying to hit him.

He bend really lower and do many back-flips so he can get away with Rudy. While he was doing back-flip, he throw his broken wooden sword at him with accuracy, aiming on his face.

He use minimal effort to dodge the desperate attack of his Dad and approach him.

While he was done in back-flipping, he pull a sword in his waist to substitute his wooden sword.

'To think I'm gonna use my treasured magic weapon in my son. He's really grown.' Deep inside, he still was a father who expects that his son will become great someday, so of course, he was proud that even though his sword style was still intermediate, he can still fight toe to toe with his Dad.

The two finally clashed once again, and there two swords finally meet. But this time, Rudy's iron short sword with mana and armament haki was cut in half and the blade was going through his waist. Of course, the blade was permeated in this afterimage body. Rudy was now in a distance once again.

"Wow! Dad, what kind of sword is that?" He has a clue but he wants to make sure.

"Your Dad buy this magic sword in an adventurer's shop when I was still an adventurer. What do you think?" Paul smirks at his son because his son always surprises him with his unique magic, now it was his turn to surprise him with his magic sword.

'As far as I know, he only obtained that sword when he's trying to find Mom.' Rudy was confused because he knows that Paul only found that sword in a vendor wherein he misunderstand this magic sword and sells it with low price.

This sword is powerful, the higher the defense of the target, the more this sword will become sharper, making it cut everything. But this sword didn't have an ability to cut a paper or a raw meat.

To think that this sword was capable to cut even the armament haki, he really underestimate this world.

Rudy didn't care if his Dad possess this magic sword now, all he cares now is to defeat him.

"Dad! Thank you, for giving me battle experience today. I really appreciate it." Paul didn't said anything and he was still wary. He won't let be distracted by his son's antics.

"Since you're going to use everything you have to defeat me. I too will also use my everything since I respect you, Dad." Rudy inhaled deeply and exhaled smoothly.

"Just don't hate me if you eat the dust now." Rudy become more serious and throw his broken iron short sword away.

His whole body was now covered in red, due to the accumulation of blood, a dense mana now circulate in his whole body, making him stronger once more.

Paul seeing this was now beading in sweat. He thicken his touki and try to intercept what Rudy might planning to do. But he was stunned on what he was seeing, due to his son's speed, he created an afterimage of him, still standing far away, and in front of Paul, which are below him.

He tried to block his son's upper kick but the impact was to strong so he was in mid-air now.

Due to him being covered in touki, Paul's eyes also being doused with touki, suddenly saw his son also in mid-air and produce a silver chain in his right hand.

The chains suddenly wrapped Paul tightly and Rudy embraced him in his back. While the two was still in mid-air, his son suddenly makes his body rotate, and the two was now spinning madly and Paul's upper body was hit the ground.

The ground couldn't handle the impact and a big dent was now produced, making his dad lose his consciousness.

He jumped far away and retracted his Dowsing Chain. Rudy used his chain as a substitute for Rock Lee's white bandages. He looks at his father, still unconsciousness.

"Weew... At least, we didn't damage any flowers in the courtyard. I don't want my mom to awaken her ire." Rudy was sighing in relief because he win his first battle with only damage in the ground.

His observation haki picks something up and saw a woman with cat ears and hetero-chromatic eyes. She must be observing the fight with her demon eye so she can saw everything that's happening.

'So here is my escort, huh? I guess I will let myself be abducted for now.' Rudy deactivate his third gate and suddenly, fatigue was all over in his body and falls in the ground.

His consciousness was slowly losing while he saw Zenith approach him then said something. Due to his condition, he can't hear what his mother said, then she approach Paul and started to heal him.

Rudy also saw the woman with cat ears and pick his tired body and put him in her left shoulder. The only thing that he can remember is the softness of her left breast that constantly bumps in his thighs.
