3 Douluo Continent

"Xiao Zi...

Xiao Zi...."

"I am here grandpa"

"where have you been Xiao Zi? I have been looking for you for some time"

"what is it grandpa? Why were you looking for me? I have been lying beside the pond"

"I am going to the town to buy some things, so I want you to look after the house"

"Ok grandpa, have a safe trip"

"Enn... well them I will get going"

Yu Zi's grandpa Chu Hi is an elderly man who looked to be in his 70s. He had a head full of slightly long white hair which has been meticulously combed out and a long white beard which reaches till his chest, he looked like a ordinary old man you could find anywhere. Even so his looks really spirited and healthy, contrary to his age and appearance. Infact with his experience's of two life, Yu Zi could tell that his grandpa is were strong.

Yu Zi thought that his grandpa must be one of those spirit masters he read in those books.

His grandpa is always a cheerful man. He teaches the children of this small village about many things as he is very knowledgeable of the world out side of this small village. Because of these reasons their small house is full of books and thanks to that he was able to understand this world more, as his grandpa thought him how read pretty early.

After seeing off his grandpa at the entrance , Yu Zi went back in and started to read a book as to know more about this world.

This world was called Douluo Dalu and this continent held two great empires, which could perhaps also be spoken of as coalitions. Because within the two empires, a great deal of territory was conferred on feudal vassals, and the number of nobles with armed forces couldn't be counted.

Of these two empires, the one which Yu Zi was in was the Balak Kingdom of Heaven Dou Empire. The other empire was the Star Luo Empire.

The Balak kingdom was located on the south of the Heaven Dou Empire, bordered directly with Star Luo Empire. Among the 4 kingdoms of the empire the Balak Kingdom possess the strongest military strength.

Yu Zi's village, which was known as Holy Star village, was on the southeast side of the Balak Kingdom. 300km's from the south of the village is the Star Dou Forest, one of the Douluo Continent's most famous great spirit beast habitats. 500km's to the northeast of the village is one of the two major cities of the Balak Kingdom. It has the richest granary within the Balak Kingdom and has a massive garrison.

Yu Zi from the book was able to learn that within the Douluo continent, his world's martial arts and magic didn't exist, but there was a kind of thing called Spirits. It was said that everyone had their own spirit, and among them, very few people's spirit could undergo cultivation, taking up an occupation called Spirit Master. And Spirit Master was the noblest vocation on the whole continent. Among Douluo continent's people, the spirit was awakened at the age of six in an awakening ceremony.

Spirits were subdivided into two main categories, one category was tool spirits, and the other was beast spirits. As the names suggest, when a spirit was a utensil it was called a tool spirit, and with an animal as spirit it was called a beast spirit. Comparatively speaking, tool spirits included a wider range, and the vast majority of people all had tool spirits, and the ratio of tool spirits unable to cultivate was much bigger than for beast spirits.

Yu Zi also understands that since he was reborn in this world, if he wants to become as strong as his past self and surpass himself, he will have to cultivate by this world's laws and that is by becoming a Spirit Master.

As Yu Zi was spending his time by reading books to fill in the knowledge, it became night but he didn't notice it as he was completely focused on hi books.

Suddenly he heard the sound of door unlocking. Yu Zi stopped reading and put down the book on table and started walking towards the entrance. He saw his grandpa and started welcoming him.

"Welcome back grandpa"

"Yes, I am back little Zi"

On seeing Yu Zi coming to welcome him, a smile appeared on Chu Hi's old face.

"Did you look after the house little Zi?"

"Yes I did grandpa"

In his past two lifes Yu Zi didn't have a father or mother. In his first life the one the one he saw as his father figure was his master.

In his second life his father and grandparents died in a war against a another clan, his mother was a human who had a weak body and so she also died while giving birth to him.The only reason he was able to stay in clan because he inherited the clans bloodline.

Even in this life he lost his mother when she give birth to him. He doesn't know who his father is, as his grandpa isn't willing to tell him, so he treasures his grandpa very much and try to act as any 3year child would to their grandpa as much as possible.

"Grandpa, why did you go to the town?"

"A friend of mine was un the town, so I went to greet him"

"Who is your friend grandpa? Why didn't you take me with you? "

"He is a teacher like me, infact is the headmaster of academy and he will be here to celebrate your birthday, at that time I will introduce you both"

*growl*

This was the sound of Yu Zi's stomach, as didn't eat anything and too focused on books.

"Little Zi, you haven't eaten anything yet!?"

"I was reading grandpa, so I didn't get hungry"

"Haaa... you really like reading don't you. Children of your age should eat other wise you grow up to be a strong man. Come then, I will prepare some thing to eat.

Both Chu Hi and Yu Zi, one old and one young walk towards the kitchen.
