THE BEGINNING OF BLUE LOCK

After the match against Matsukaze Kokuo Elementary School, Kiyomizu Seiryu Elementary School continued to win against all teams they faced without even giving their opponents a chance, having Ichinose Arata as their main player, top scorer in goals and assists, attracting attention from all scouts and people watching the games to see a child two years younger managing to be levels ahead of the other children. The preliminaries for the nationals ended with the team still undefeated in the championship.

In the nationals, the story wasn't much different. In the first match, they faced Hikari Fūdo Elementary School, which ended with a score of 8-0 for Kiyomizu Seiryu. In the second round, they faced Niji no Hashi Elementary School, which ended with a score of 6-0. In the quarter-finals, they faced Midori no Mori Elementary School, ending in a score of 6-1. In the semi-finals of the championship, they played against Taiyou no Ko Elementary School, which was a more challenging game for the team, but Arata made a big difference, and the game ended 4-2.

Now in the grand final, there was a big surprise as they ended up playing against Akudo Elementary School, among whose players was one Arata knew from the canon, none other than the "KING" Shoei Barou. (Note: from here on, I will refer to him as Barou, I have seen some places calling him just Baro, but I prefer Barou).

The match went as anticipated with the team centered around Barou, with him refusing to pass the ball, and the match ended in a score of 3-1, with two goals from Arata who during the game gave some smirks and taunting words to Barou to irritate him a bit.

But in the end, Kiyomizu Seiryu Elementary School was the champion of the National Championship, with Arata as their MVP. All the teammates congratulated him after the trophy lift, and after that, there was a small party at Coach Nakamura's house.

Then, 7 years passed, and a 15-year-old boy could be seen practicing some football fundamentals in a park.

"That boy is here again," said an elderly lady passing by.

"Yes, I've seen him there since he was just a brat," replied an elderly man who appeared to be her husband.

And now, I've just entered high school. I would have liked to compare myself earlier with world-class players like the Kaiser from Bastard München, but the best player I've faced so far was Barou in two finals, and Kira, but for some reason, I never saw any of the main players from Blue Lock. Seishiro Nagi is understandable since he wasn't much into football until Blue Lock, but what about the rest? Well, at some point, I'll meet them. Currently, I believe my skills are enough to surpass anyone from the NeoEgoist League, so, what remains is to wait for the Canon to start, which I imagine won't be long, as the final of the preliminaries will take place in two weeks against Matsukaze Kokuo High School.

In recent years, I've trained to become the most complete player in the world, in such a way that even my height increased to 1.80 meters, making it easier for me to improve my aerial game. After all, another goal I set in my mind is to become a joker player who can play in any position on the field. Therefore, a good aerial game is extremely important if I need to play as a forward. However, my primary goal hasn't changed, which is to show everyone that the greatest and best position in football is that of the "attacking midfielder". Moreover, despite my height increase, I continue to have the same messy black hair and blue eyes.

After finishing training, I return to my home... "I'm home." "Good morning, son," said his father. "By the way, Arata-kun, a letter from the Japanese Football Association just arrived!" said his father.

Opening the letter, it was exactly what he had thought: the call-up letter for Blue Lock. "Finally, it's about to begin," thought Arata, with an excited expression.

Arriving at the meeting place, which was a huge building of the Japanese Association, various high school-aged boys could be seen, most of them very anxious; after all, it's not every day you're summoned to a meeting by the Japanese Association.

"Good afternoon, Arata-kun," said Kira.

Turning around, Arata noticed Kira standing next to Isagi. Arata always found it funny how Kira was a completely different person on and off the field.

"Good afternoon, Kira-kun, how are you?"

"I'm great, and this is Yoichi Isagi. I played against him in the preliminaries."

Then, Jinpachi Ego appeared and began explaining the Blue Lock project to the participants and naturally made his whole speech about how Japanese football is terrible and that camaraderie doesn't matter and how only with a Egoist Striker can this change, and all that nonsense. And as in the Canon, Kira disagreed with Ego, but the result was the same; after his speech, all the participants ran to the bus, and thus began: BLUE LOCK!!!
