114 Hell King

The hell king looked down at the human in front of him and saw no reaction whatsoever. Seeing this he asked,

"Umm… I just gave a big revelation, aren't you supposed to be more surprised?"

"Ok"

"…?"

"…"

The hell king just sighed as he didn't know how to carry on, all the while Itsuki was in his own thoughts,

'So, he was just leg locked by the soul king's legs essentially …'

"Well, it seems my time is nearing and so is the soul kings… So… young soul… would you take over my position?"

"No."

"… you will have con-… eh?!"

Itsuki didn't say anything further as he knew that the being had heard him the first time. Feeling a little responsible, Itsuki decided to tilt the balance,

"I have no thoughts of being chained to a place."

'I don't want to be leg locked by the soul king…'

"I would love to hear your opinion, but when I said I was nearing my end, I am literally at my end now."

Itsuki frowned while the hell king continued,

"Similar to how the soul king's existence keeps the three stables, my sole existence keeps the hell realm stable."

The hell king seemed to look deep into Itsuki's eyes as he released his pressure. His limbs creaked as he moved them bringing tension to the chains. As the chain were pulled to the max, with a grunt the being ripped them off as he stepped towards Itsuki.

With that step, the hell king started dissipating into particles and those particles instantly merged with Itsuki.

Itsuki wasn't able to react as he felt a calling within him and watched as the particles entered his body and head for his 'sun'. Once the being had dissipated, the chains found a new target but with instinct alone, Itsuki was able to slash through their lines of death, making them turn into dust.

'Wait… Did I just kill the Soul King?'

Itsuki didn't have time to think as his vision started getting cloudy and cracks started appearing everywhere for him. As he felt his energy rising, he suddenly felt sleepy and laid down. He started hyperventilating and he felt a weightless in his right arm. Looking at his right hand, he felt it dissolve into particles, yet he felt no danger. A sudden thought crossed his mind before he blacked out,

'I don't want to turn red!'

Within the hall, all that was left was an azure cocoon surrounded by a pinkish hue and with the occasional flash that contained myriads of colours. With a slow beat, the hall retained its peace.

As for the group outside, they were waiting for Itsuki when a Kushanada nonchalantly passed them. Scaring their wits, knowing that one touch will make them permanent residents here, the group huddled together but realised that the Kushanada couldn't see them. They at first looked at Ichinose Maki yet he shook his head, he didn't have the ability to pull that off. They then looked towards the only elephant in the room who just had an indescribable smirk.

Aizen had suddenly lost Itsuki's presence.

- Hueco Mundo -

A rift appeared and out walked out Urahara Kisuke as he held a radar device. As he moved around the beeping intensified as he walked through a forest and appear at a village.

- Soul Society -

Ukitake suddenly felt a tug in his heartstrings as felt lonesome, as if losing a close friend. Giving out a sigh he looked into the sky, remembering his junior brother.
