Chapter 31

A delicious fragrance wafted to Qin Yu's nose as soon as she reached the dining room. Several dishes had already been served on the table. She glanced over them and couldn't help but gulp. 

Ling Luo had proven herself to be a versatile cook; the lunch this time was a diverse selection of Chinese cuisine, a far cry from the Western fare she had prepared for breakfast earlier. 

A crispy looking braised pork with a barbeque sauce on top of it, a plate of vegetable stir-fry, several kinds of vegetable soup, and ultimately rice displayed on the table made Qin Yu's stomach growl involuntarily. 

She felt a pang of hunger after her rebirth, but it didn't make her feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, she felt so much more alive than when she was still a zombie. 

Still, letting that kind of sound out in front of other people was quite embarrassing. Qin Yu couldn't help but feel her cheek burning from shame.
