10 Chapter 9 Doing the Mission (1/2)
Shui fang stared deadpanned at the interface, he couldn't help but wonder who made this system, was it the heavens or was it his inner demons
"Although these are good missions, the end reward doesn't make any sense. I am building a ship so my profession unlock should have been a ship builder and carpenter" He muttered a few breaths
"But, Blacksmith is more worth it than those professions" He nodded at his words, skipping over the system sly words he read all the objectives for the mission. The set of four missions seemed rather simple to the common eye, but Shui fang wasn't any ordinary person who couldn't see the underlining benefits.
'The rest of the mission is unnecessary compared to the end objective. The goal is the build a treasure not just a simple ship, so I will be needing much more materials and considering I wasn't given any tools; I have to do it by hand rather than spending my points' he thought, as he knew what he would build, for this.
Taking his time, he did a series of jump's arriving to the top of the tallest tree that was nearby.
"I will need to a lot of oak and possibly cedar" Shui fang oversee the area, although his knowledge in carpeting and ship building was limited, he didn't lack creativity and the tenacity to do a variety of task
Spotting where the majority are, he, jumped from tree to tree, just like in the wuxia novels, until he made it to his first target. It was a fairly large oak tree that would require multiple lumber jacks to cut, or a machine but he didn't have any of those
Crunch!
With his hand form like that of a blade he cleaved through a large chunk of the bark, this was an extraordinary foot to behold. A 6-year boy using his bare hands to do such a thing, the adults who awakened trash spirits would be put to shame in this world.
"That was pretty easy, it felt like cutting through butter" He smiled in surprise, that was the perfect analogy to describe this new found experience. It seemed his training was paying off, as he wasn't the same as he was a week ago.
"This is what they meant by controlled and efficient strikes." He was very trilled as this meant he could defeat `100-year-old spirit beast easily before awakening and possibly 1000-year-old if he fought with his all.
Crunch, Tumble!
One tree was down, as he continued moving to the next, before cutting as many as he thought he needed for surpassing the threshold for the mission
Sometime later
Shui fang could be seen transporting, large pieces of lumber towards the river, it took him over an hour to not only chop down the trees, but also processing it down to manageable size logs, that weight over 400kg per log he carried and it was done easily.
"136! phew! this was pretty tiring." He exclaimed as he dropped his final piece of log or lumber, at the bank of the river. Cupping his hand, he took some of the fresh water from the river and drench his being, before laying at there at it's bank.
"System, lets see the reward. I hope I get something good" He said as he didn't forget to pray to the goddess of luck.

He eventually calms down, as he took a peek at the other rewards "Weapons, this would have made logging work much easier but I won't complain, as they will be useful for the other parts" He grin knowingly.

"Hahahahahah! What a joke! I have luck that would make the heavens jealous" Shui fang was very pleased, unlike his rocky start, his future was looking great.

<Yes, the mc will be op, doesn't make any sense for a person with cheats to progress the same as everyone else and furthermore, novels with weak mc's are heavily protected by the plot armor preventing the mc from being killed and other stuff like having talent to learn hundreds of clans different long passed down techniques in a year or two, so I don't like seeing the fake struggles of mc's. Also, I have written down some ideas for the mc martial spirit, but I want to ask if anyone has any suggestions and ideas they want to have realize. Thanks for reading and don't forget to vote
