7 CHAPTER 6 Start of training

Taking the little time he had left for the day Shui fang went ahead and explored this strange environment, he wasn't sure where he was, nor what dangers lied in his path, but he wanted to make sure this area was relatively safe and gathered branches and wood to build a campfire to roast the fishes he spotted in the river.

Gathering what he found, he headed back to what would be his camp, but he wasn't planning on sleeping there. He was going to sleep in his CC-storage, as the warehouse would be much more comfortable than sleeping outside.

The sound of fire wood burning, granted a smile on Shui fang face, it was on his first attempt did he lit such a brilliant flame

What did this mean? Well, there is a theory he read where the age of the spirit ring one absorbs was based on how strong and built their body was and also their mental capacity. For humans this wasn't significant as their body couldn't go far without changing into a hybrid creature of some sorts and the mental capacity of a non-reincarnated child was little to none.

What are spirit rings? Spirit Rings are the soul cores released by Spirit Beasts following their death, sacrifice, or contract with humans. The Spirit Ring can only be absorbed by the person who delivers the final blow and kills it and should be at a Rank (Rank 10, 20, 30, etc.) to be able to absorb it. Spirit rings are used to enhance to martial soul or spirit than one awakens and are also capable of providing techniques and enhancing spirit bones one has. A martial soul is limited to 9 rings, meaning those with twin spirits have 18; 9 per ring. The first 6 are important to nourish spirit bones, the 7th is the deciding factor whether you become a titled douluo, however because of the optimal configuration for humans the majority who reach titled douluo will never reach god hood.

The optimal configuration is

1st Spirit Ring: Less than 423 years old Spirit Beast

2nd Spirit Ring: Less than 764 years old Spirit Beast

3rd Spirit Ring: Less than 1,300 - 1,800 years old Spirit Beast

4th Spirit Ring: Less than 3,000 - 5,000 years old Spirit Beast

5th Spirit Ring: Around 12,000 years old Spirit Beast

6th Spirit Ring: Around 28,756 years old Spirit Beast

7th Spirit Ring: Between 30,000 ~ 50,000 years old Spirit Beast

8th Spirit Ring: Between 50,000 ~ 100,000 years old Spirit Beast

9th Spirit Ring: More than 100,000 years old Spirit Beast

Spirit Rings are usually divided into categories based on their age.

White: 10 Year Spirit Ring

Yellow: 100 Year Spirit Ring

Purple: 1,000 Year Spirit Ring

Black: 10,000 Year Spirit Ring

Red: 100,000 Year Spirit Ring

Gold: 1,000,000 Year Spirit Ring

None of this really matter to Shui fang, that much as he was sure he could easily absorb a 10,000 Year Spirit Ring as his first ring in due time. What he was more concerned about was finding rings that was that old and older as spirit beast at that level was extremely scarce, which was the reason in the later editions they were basically extinct.

He around ran 120 kmph in 2 seconds faster than a cheetah, but he would have even been faster if he continued to test his speed.

"This is going to be a long week, lets make as much use as I can before leaving" He said as he went ahead with his testing
