13 Chapter 11 Awakening

As the sun rises, roughly a month has now passed since the heavens had given rebirth to a certain youth. The youth, our protagonist, has been diligently mastering his skills and new techniques, learning as soon as he could. Currently, he decided to take a break as even an the most enlighten individual cannot keep his barrels together for such a long time much less the youth who came from a technological world.

Basking all the glory in the sun, a glorious ship ate the blissful river whole, grasping all the attention of the heavens as they watch over it. Inside of this seemingly strange vessel, a young man, whose being shone with brilliance, was still as a mountain. His youthful face reminded the olden, of their younger days in their childhood. Neat Lucius black hair that blew gently alongside the wind that travels towards the east. His small yet explosive frame commanded the attention of the even the goddesses themselves. This youngster dressed in blue and white martial overalls, sat firmly on a red rug, in large yet dull room which only decoration was apart from the previously mention, a white large bed and a wooden table and chair that screamed loneliness, as he hadn't used them in a while.

"I have finally mastered Lighting steps" The youngster muttered under his breath, opening his eyes to the world.  His crimson eyes glazed onto the wall before his body disappear and appeared at the tip of the wall stopping before even touching it withing one breath of time.

"My control of my inner qi, is decent I think, or maybe not?" He wondered, ever since the completion of the building of the vessel he was abound 'Queen's Revenge' Shui fang focused on trying to cultivate inner qi, it was a requirement needed to practice his movement technique lighting steps and his sword technique flower sword.

When it came to his inner cultivation he was lost, he understood the concepts of course as he had read many manhwas before, however he was blindly cultivating based off his knowledge that he had from his past. He made sure to limit his cultivation to just the point he could practice his techniques, as it was better to have a proper inner cultivation technique than it was to rely on vague knowledge. The problem was, however there wasn't any inner qi cultivation techniques in the system shop, so all he could do was wait to level up the system.

Speaking of level, his experience needed to reach lvl1 was 20% percent of the way there, thanks to the S Grade Graphics Card he got back then. Why hasn't he bought another? Simple the motherboard, he had could only support two graphics card a S grade and a D grade. His plans are to replace the D grade with another S grade which costed 1000SP out of his range of System points he had now.

Going back to the previous topic, lighting steps, it was a movement technique. It consisted of two movements advance and retreat, advance allowed the user to move at a fast-unpredictable speed towards his opponents, while retreat goes beyond the limit of the user to fall back as fast as possible, to escape battles or conflicts.

Flower Sword Technique, is a rather basics technique that focuses on breathing and foot work. To the outside eye, the technique would make the user appear as if they are dancing, with each of their strikes. It was an elegant technique, made for beginner in the way of the sword.  Shui fang studied both of these diligently, mastering both, finding ways to use them together along with his karate. What was left now was for him was to gather experience which would be when he leaves

"Good, what's left now is my external cultivation, the progress wasn't been fast like the martial arts techniques." He did pushup, sit ups, pull ups, weighting weights and runs per day to progress this technique, but no matter how much he increased the amount he did he couldn't speed up his progress.

'Would I have to inflict self-harm?' He had this same thought for a while, but didn't want to do so, as he was concerned of becoming machoistic who loved every second of pain rather it would be pleasure.

"I will erase that thought for now. I have accomplished all that I needed for a solid foundation, it's time to awaken my martial soul" He walked out of the room, waltzing towards the outer deck.

It was time to awaken his martial soul, Shui fang would have been lying if he said he wasn't excited, he was very, it would be his official start of the path of the spirit masters. He was anticipating what spirits he will get since he was guaranteed twin spirits, whether they were trash he had innate spirit energy so he could mutate them along the way if that were the case.

"System buy the awakening stones and Crystal Essence Orb"

{Purchasing...consuming 5SP}

{Received 6xAwakening Stones}

{Received Manual}

{Received Crystal Essence Orb}

Receiving the stones and orb he place them on the deck, as he skims through the instructions. He arranged the Awakening Stones in a circle as the manual instructed and placed the orb of a nearby stool for ease of use.

"It's finally time, let's do this!"

Stepping into the circle of awakening stones, he closed his eyes as he muttered "Feel the soul" after saying so the stone's light up in a golden hue, as he extended his arms out, however what nothing happened

"What's going on?" He said confused as nothing happened, "Wha-"He felt something burning inside of him, it was his soul, it wasn't burning it was melting, he felt as if he was submerged into magma, as the heavens rained, lighting as a provocation challenging him.

"BLARGHH!!" He vomited a mouthful of blood as he dropped to his knees, as he held on to his chest in agony, he gripped as tightly as he could as he felt pain, he never experiences in his life time of being alive.

"Wha-t is go-ing on!" He struggled to talk, much less breathe it felt like he was dying, as he began to lose mind

"A-m..i.. go-ing. .to ..di-e like this" He dropped on the floor and lost consciousness, as the last thing he was darkness.
