"Little Master even though you are in disguise. Don't forget that you are a girl!", Cheng was so surprised at what Shufen said to him. Even Shufen was confused why she said it but she will not take her words back.

"He's injured. I'll take care of him. And you take care of that guy over there. His name is Guo, let him take a rest don't bother him" Cheng couldn't refute as Shufen's words reached his ears. He can only nod and scratched his neck.

"And also" Cheng stopped. Shufen's eyebrow raised. "Rest. Tomorrow will be a long day", Shufen waved her hands and Cheng smiled a little before nodding.

"You. Follow" Shufen heard Cheng's annoyed voice. Raising an eyebrow, It seems that Cheng will only listen to her without being annoyed.

Guo was stared at her before following Cheng. She didn't even had to tell him what to do. She locked the door before sighing. Her back ached, This bloody man is too heavy for her thin body.

Shufen went to grab the set of clothes that she brought. It was the most comfortable clothing that she brought from the Ning Manor. She walked towards the bathroom and washed herself.

The man who was pretending to be asleep opened his eyes. So black and then it turns to gray. It was an interesting sight to see but the man's face was so cold that it could make someone freeze to death. Exaggerating words you could say but his face is too cold.

He didn't move an inch, he only stared at the unfamiliar ceiling. He could hear her voice through the bathroom. It was soft, it sounds like she was humming a lonely melody. And it made his heart ache so much.

He closed his eyes, trying to comfort himself. He was usually a calm person but when it comes to this little girl, he will turn into a madman. He vowed to protect her until his very last breathe, although he couldn't do it at the past. He will make sure to do it this time.

Shufen walked out from the Bathroom and saw that the man was frowning in his sleep. He looks like he was bothered by what his dreaming. She didn't know but she came to his side and caressed his hands. She wanted to comfort him. It was unusual for her because she didn't like touching people other than Yaling and Master Mu.

She waited for the uncomfortable feeling to come but it didn't. Her mouth formed into a smile. She didn't feel uncomfortable.

Chang's frowned was gone. His face was calm and it made Shufen touch his face directly without any thoughts into it. After realizing it was a bad thing to do for a lady like herself, she froze for a second and immediately retract her hands. But unable to do it as Chang was holding into her hands tightly.

Her face flushed. She now looks like a tomato. Shufen glanced at him but she saw that he was still unconscious. She breathed out. Thanked god he wasn't awake. She tried to move her hands away again but she just couldn't move even a little.

"I have to rest to. And what will he say if he sees me like this. Will he kill me?" Shufen's thoughts was full of questions. And suddenly she felt light. Her eyelids were heavy for her. The tiredness of the journey hit her. Closing her eyes, she let herself sleep at the man's chest.

It was after a few minutes before the man opened his eyes. Chang's cold eyes was nowhere to be seen instead it was full of love and worry. Love for the girl in his chest and worry because his power is too much for her.

He slowly let go of her hands and move her head to the pillow. He got up and put her to his bed. He wanted to feel her warmth again. It has been so long. It was so long. How many years has it been? He can't count it anymore. He waited for years so he could see her and his years of waiting wasn't in vain.

His wounds bled again as he used his strength. He flinched a little but his face didn't move even a little. He was used to the pain but it doesn't mean he can't feel pain.

He went to the other side of the bed and laid. He didn't hug nor touch her. He just wanted Shufen to be at his side even just for this time. He longed for this for so many years. Chang wanted to be selfish just this once.

The pain was now slowly suffocating him and Shufen was the only one who can erase it. He stared at her face. He looks weird but it does not bother him. He just wanted Shufen to have a good sleep without any problems.
