11 STILL ALIVE

GENERAL NING was still there acting like a doting father. He had stayed there already for an hour and Shufen was getting impatient. She wanted to open her eyes already but General Ning will see that the poison was already gone. Her eye color became bloody red when she was poisoned and now that she was cured. Her Natural eye color returned. And her eye itself was mystery.

Every night her eye color will change, from a galaxy like eye it will change into blue and green. It was mismatched.

"Father, Mother had come" Yaling announced and opened the door wide to let Madam Ning enter.

"That girl is still alive heh" Madam Ning said it like Shufen is not a human but a pest. Her voice was full of disgust. She only had two child and it will be Ning Yaling and Ning DaChao. She will never had a daughter named Shufen. Never in her life.

"Can this useless kid just die already" Madam Ning walked gracefully, her dress was swaying together with her brown hair. She looks stunning but she has too many flaws. Yaling was about to yell at Madam Ning but she stopped herself. She will get caught that she was helping Shufen and she will be punished again.

"Mother the poison has already reached her heart" Yaling said it coldly. Shufen wanted to laugh, Yaling really can act well. Madam Ning was satisfied at Yaling's response. General Ning cough, this made Madam Ning looked at him.

"What?" Madam Ning was annoyed at her husband. She wanted this kid to die but General Ning refused, saying that they can still make a use of Shufen. Madam Ning had no choice but to agree.

General Ning glared at Madam Ning and look at Shufen for a second. The Madam looked down immediately, she was scared. Although they're married for a long time. The General was still scary when mad, like now.

"It seems that Madam Ning forgot that we are talking here" General Ning's voice was cold, His eyes are sharp.

"Follow me!" His voice wasn't loud but it was enough to scare Madam Ning. She followed General Ning and went outside together.

Yaling waited before closing the doors. She was enlightened that her Mother was scolded by General Ning. She was not happy because Madam Ning is still her birth Mother. Yaling just wanted Madam Ning to know that Shufen is still her daughter. How could she talk about the death of her own daughter. It was as if Shufen wasn't her daughter.

Shufen's eyes was already open when Yaling looked at her. It was awkward for Yaling. Did she heard it? I hope not. Yaling went to her side and made her drink water.

"Feeling okay now?" Shufen remembered what hell she experienced because of the medicine. She shuddered, I will never let myself be poisoned again.

"Yeah", Shufen's voice was so weak.

Shufen thought about all the hardship that she experienced in her past life. She was strong but not strong enough to deal with those people. So many important person died because of her. Now that she had been reborn, she will do everything she can to protect them.

Yaling was deep in thought that she didn't notice Shufen was staring at her. Observing her every emotions and movements. Yaling really can't think why would her mother talk like that. It was too ruthless, too heartless. It was bad enough that she wanted to kill someone. Must it be her own daughter?

But Am I really her daughter? The way she treats me was worst that a pig.
