6 Chapter 6: Cutting The Stone

After I find the stone that I want, I ask Xia Lan, what am I gonna do now that I have the stone.

"Xia Lan, what now?" I ask. I am really clueless about stone gambling, without Xia Lan I would have probably living in the streets right now.

I mean I can use what I've learn in my past life but that would make me suspicious, right?

"You go back to the store and ask the old woman to open it for you" Xia Lan. But, what she didn't know was that even Xia Lan is also clueless about Jade Gambling.

"Okay! let's go back" I hurriedly go back to the store where I bought the stone and ask the woman to cut it.

"Are you new to stone gambling, Young lady?" The old woman asked.

"Yes...! I just want to try my luck in stone gambling and maybe earn some money" I answered.

Well, it's the truth that I want to earn money but winning using my luck it's impossible.

Xia Lan, is really a big help to me, but I can't always rely on Xia Lan in everything that I do. I need to work hard!

The old woman laughed "You're quite honest, Young lady".

The old woman's laughter resounded in the whole store. She took out her equipment's and she begin cutting the stone.

Cutting the stone really took a long time, It's been 10 minutes since the old woman started cutting the stone and I can't help but to complain.

'Sigh.. cutting stones really took a long time'.

20 minutes passed and finally the stone started to show green inside. It indicates that there's a possibilities that there's a jade inside.

And it's not that I don't trust Xia Lan, but for a 'regular' person there's a possibilities.

"Wow! Young lady you're quite lucky" The old woman exclaimed.

Even, I, Who has no experience in stone gambling is excited when I saw that there's green inside.

Minutes have passed and the atmosphere is so tense. I mean it's my first time in stone gambling.

In my past life, I mostly spend my time inside my office doing my work. Now, that I can do whatever I want, why not enjoy it?

Finally the part I've been anticipating, the stone is opened and the jade is out. It's an Glass Type Jade, and if I am not mistaken this jade should be King's Green, right?

"Wow! Young lady, you're luck is really admirable" The old woman exclaimed.

"It's King's Green" I muttered.

I still can't believed that I got the King's Green. I am gonna be rich!

"It's Kings Green, Young lady, you're gonna be rich! I've heard that It's worth 10 million yuan". The old woman said and continued " If you're willing to sell it to me at that price I'll bought it, do you want to sell it, Young lady?" The old woman asked.

"Deal! I'll sell it for 10 million" I said

"Would you like me to transfer it in to your bank account or should I just write you a cheque" The old woman asked

"I prefer to just it in a cheque" I said.

The old woman takes her time to wrote the cheque and checks it before handling it to me.

We thanked each other before parting ways.
