"IM HOME!" I say while quickly taking off my shoes and trying to restabilized my breaths. Today was a long day as I had to wait in a game line for almost 16 hours as of how packed it was, but in the end, it was worth it. I look next to the table where I put the shining plastic case that says REBIRTH: ONLINE at, with at the top Right of the case says FOR THE VR REBIRTH HEADSET.
I didn't come to my home with just a case but with an entirely new headset as well. It was right on the chair next to the game at the price of $69:99 for altogether. Anyways, I saw the trailer which looked amazing as it was a fully immersive fantasy world that had numerous things to do like many skills and achievements to earn, many numerous branches to form your class with (Like if you chose warrior you can earn magical skills and form a branch of a magical warrior) also, everyone will be on one server and NO LAG!
I Don't know how it won't lag if everyone is one server, but beats me. it's only 2020 but someone that already released this type of game is crazy. They even showed us a gameplay video which lasted 2 hours of it and it was amazing. The graphics looked exactly like real life and even uTobe wasn't able to catch such incredible detail. So I woke up massively early and ran to the game shop that supported only this game and saw people with tents, whom look liked they spent days here, they were of course ahead of me, plus a few hundred so I ended up waiting for the game almost the whole day. I was so happy that I brought my portable charger that came with batteries, and I was also glad that I brought a pair in my pocket. Once I got the game, I ran back home to play it instantly and here I was.
"Hey honey how was the line." my mother said as she gave me a peak on my cheek. "it was a very long line, as you can see I ran back home, I'll be in my room to play my game." "Okay honey, be safe with the headset." I nodded my head and went to grab my game and my headset, then I went back to my room. I closed the door so fast to hook up my VR headset. I open the front area which looked like goggles and pulled and what showed me was a game cord and an outline of a game disk. " I guess I put the game here then." I mumble while putting my headset on my bed next to an outlet. I connect the cord to the outlet and then the headset, which then I laid down putting it on headset. "All right Lennon are you ready to have the best experience in your life. Heck yeah, I'm gonna have the best time EVER!" I said trying to make it seem like I'm talking to somebody. "oh wait, I forgot to put the game cd in." I said boinking my head like an anime character.
It took me a while to take off the plastic but after some time, I finally got it off. I open the case but unexpectedly got greeted by a smell that smelled like your opening something new. "Ahhhh." I said in a relaxed voice. I take out the game, then I take off my headset to insert the game. After I put it in I heard a little click then a locking sound. Not minding it I put on my headset while adjusting the head strap at the same time. I press the on button and say a reference I always wanted to say right before I go to virtual reality. "LINK START!" After that, I hear a pop and I lose consciousness.

*POP*
"Honey are you okay?" I asked my son. Now that I think about it he shouldn't be able to hear me so I walked to his door that had a light brown color with other colors at the bottom. We lived in the house ever since he was born. When he was 5 years old my husband and his father died which affected him a lot as he loved his father so much. He got over his depression a few years later and went back to school. I shake the thoughts and open the door....... "AHHHH NOOOO MY BABY." I screamed and started crying as my knees which were feeling weak made me fall down. As what was in front of me was brain splatters. The VR headset was on the bed near my son's legs and his head was open like a pumpkin. It felt like time stop when I saw him and when it resumed I cried and cried until I called the police.
A couple of days later I found out that everyone who used those headsets died as their heads exploded. They tried to find the developers of the headset but it was liked they were ghost as everything was gone, not even the buildings were there. I was then, after suffering like this, put into a mental hospital trying to cope with what happened to my sweet sweet baby.

"owe did something happen with the headset because I think something went wrong." I said clutching my head. `It might be nothing, anyway, let's go and customize my character and become the greatest.` I thought while stop clutching my head and look around. I see a full-body mirror of me naked and a closet next to it. My bodyweight was 276 pounds as I also had pimples everywhere. My hair reached to the end of my neck while looking curly with the color dark brown, which were the same as my eyes. I press the mirror to see if that's how you customize your character and it works, I see a preset of characters disappear than new ones appear. It seemed endless as there were many presets of characters to see. I saw an icon that shows a paint bucket next to a person, which I clicked. Then it showed me a list of options.
"I think I can have lots of fun as a healer, so I should probably choose healer." I say out loud. Then, a little icon on the top appears with a med sign. I look around and decide to change things a bit. I always go female as I like playing female characters since who doesn't want to at least try out being in a girl's body. But a girl doesn't appear in the mirror, weird. What's weirder is the fact that you can only change a couple of stuff. I keep my race human and change my hair to aqua blue while my eyes glimmer like Emerald's, with my skin being as white as snow. I put my max height to 5'4 and put my breast size to C-cup. Nothing too big since it won't fit my cute character I'm imagining at all. I was also able to change my voice's pitch but it says it becomes that in the future, I don't get it? Anyway, I change my voice into those innocent cute girls since it was giving me a sample version. After that, I take a quick look at the features and press yes.
My character still doesn't change. I still see the same me. I open the closet next to the mirror to see clothes, but instead, I saw skills for my character. Apparently, my character had no skills except 1 that said /magic talent/ so, I clicked on a shop Icon that, when opened showed a number in the top right corner, presumably my points for skills. It stated that I have 200 points, so I started scrolling around for skills. After some time I chose a skill called /appraisal/ since that's a must and another skill called /healing magic/ because apparently, I need that to cast healing magic which you Don't get at the start at the game. I also chose another skill since I got that half-off called /mp regeneration/ which gives me mp slowly. /Appraisal/ was 100 p and the other two were 50 p, giving me 200. After doing that, I click yes at the bottom of the screen and then it tells me to close the door of the closet.
I look around to see and find out there is nothing else to do since it was a white room beside a door that I walk to. I open it slightly but then, a screen pops up showing me the continents of the map while telling me to choose a place to start. I choose a forest near the human continent and click yes. 'I need some exp.' I thought. I go through the door but then had another blackout.
I open my eyes slowly as it felt like I just woke up which then I start moving my head to look around. My neck moves slowly for some odd reason. I see trees that are as high as the sky and a wooden borderline right next to me. 'Wait a minute isn't this one of those baby baskets we're you put them in front an orphanage.' I slowly pick up my two hands as It takes a lot of effort and then finally, I see my soft baby hands. 'IM A BABYYYY!' I screamed in my mind.
And that was the beginning of my rebirth in a game?
