5 Fainted

Now the new couple sat side by side while holding hands. The two of them couldn't stop smiling and looking at each other.

They didn't even care when the waiter came into the room to deliver their orders. As if other people and delicious food already neatly on the table didn't matter for both of them.

Evan gripped Rose's tiny and delicate palm tightly, sending his warm feeling to his new girlfriend. He still couldn't believe what had just happened now. Rose Wilson is his girlfriend! He really wanted to scream aloud to make other people know about their relationship.

"Rose…" His charming voice makes Rose glance at him. When their smiling eyes meet, Evan continues his words, "So tonight is our first day as a couple, right?" His silly question makes Rose almost choke.

"Y-You can say so, Evan…." She blushed, looking at Evan's face so close to her.

"Wait… I have to capture this moment. This time and date will be our first memories. I don't want to forget it…." Evan let go of his hand and took his cellphone from his suit pocket. Quickly he typed a note on his cellphone; today was their first day as a couple.

Rose was speechless, looking at Evan. She smiled, but her heart ached at the situation. Likewise, it feels like everything is changing so fast with her mind. After experiencing a tragic incident in her past life, she was faced with a choice. Choose Dustin and go back to her previous life, or choose Evan and start a new life with him.

Her sanity tells her to choose Evan, and now she becomes Evan's girlfriend.

A few hours ago, she was still Dustin's wife. And on the same day, she accepted another man as her lover. Rose's head is spinning just thinking about all this. She wanted to be honest with Evan, but seeing how happy he was, made her stop saying any words. She would wait until the time was right for her to tell him how she really felt; right now, there is no love in her heart, but she is trying to like him, and maybe one day her heart will gradually love him.

"Rose! You got to eat… you look so pale and skinny lately!" Evan, who started to eat dinner, looked nervously at Rose, who had been unenthusiastic about eating the dish. He became suspicious that the food on the table was not delicious, and she didn't like it.

"I'm fine, Evan..." A faint smile frames Rose's pale face. She quickly devoured her dinner. But her mind did not stop remembering the extraordinary events that happened to her today.

Then suddenly, the vague image of her son appeared in her mind. She had forgotten entirely about her only son.

How could she do that?

Only her son made her strong to maintain her marriage in her past life when Dustin began to change.

Instantly Rose's chest felt tight. So tight, as if there was a heavy object placed on her chest when the image of her son gradually faded and her memories about her son also disappeared.

She was panicking!

Rose couldn't find answers to all the questions flashing through her mind. She held her chest, which was unbearable pain, and her breathing was getting heavier as if there was no oxygen around her.

Her body trembled, and a few moments later, her eyes felt heavy. She can feel her body limp.

"Rose! What happened?" Rose heard Evan's voice, but his panicked voice gradually drifted away, and suddenly her surroundings became dark. She fainted!

Evan couldn't take his eyes anywhere else. His eyes focused on Rose, lying motionless on the hospital bed. Her beautiful tiny face looked pale, and her cherry red lips slightly bluish.

His mind had been restless since Rose suddenly passed out while they had dinner. He quickly took her to Forest East Hospital, the closest hospital to the restaurant.

The way from the restaurant to the hospital, which is only 15 minutes away, feels like an eternity for him. He was so worried that something terrible might happen to Rose. Fortunately, after a medical check-up, there was no indication that she had any illness or injury.

The doctor said it was possible that she was fatigued and stressed, which made her unconscious. It could be said that now she was in a deep sleep state.

Evan can feel a little bit relieved after getting confirmation from the doctor about Rose's condition. Then, he makes arrangements to admit Rose to the VIP room so that Rose can sleep peacefully without being disturbed by other patients.

But two hours had passed, and Rose had yet woken up from her deep sleep. Made his heart start to get restless.

"Rose… please wake up. Don't make me worry, huh!?" He whispers while holding her cold hand gently.

It wasn't long before Evan heard someone knocking on the door. He immediately stood from his chair and walked to the door. When he opened the door, he saw a middle-aged woman with an A-line haircut standing right in front of him.

Instantly Evan's heart beat faster when he realized the middle-aged woman in front of him was Rose's mother, his future mother-in-law.
