49 Peak Rank 2 Magical Beast

Hao Shen and Xiao Hei started to climb the mountain while he spread his soul around them to detect any hidden treat.

After walking for some time the two of them had traveled mid-way to the mountain peak, they stood before a small forest.

"Sigh, I knew it, we'll have to pass through this forest if we want to reach the peak of the mountain, the problem is that I feel some Rank 3 Magical Beast inside of it." Hao Shen said as he furrowed his eyes, he began to think seriously about the possibility he had but there was nothing he could do beside traversing the forest, his only other option was to climb by the other side but it was impossible to do so while avoiding the Flying Magical Beasts present in the strange mountain region.

"Xiao Hei, we have to be careful once we're inside so don't make any noise." Hao Shen warned Xiao Hei who nodded his head in understanding while his eyes became more focused on the actual situation.

Hao Shen and Xiao Hei began to enter the forest while looking around carefully after they had walked approximatively mid-way inside the forest they were still undetected by any of the Rank 3 Magical Beast, but just as they were about to continue forward, an agile shadow rushed towards them from the tree top.

Hao Shen jumped to the side, his face ashen. He had never thought that a Magical Beast would appear here without him sensing it with his soul power. The shadow that had rushed towards them had the appearance of a panther and looked at Hao Shen with an evil glint in its eyes.

This Magical Beast was a Peak Rank 2 Wind Riding Panther, they were Magical Beasts well know for there speed, it was said that the Wind Riding Panther possessed a little bit of the bloodline of the Sky Devouring Panther who was a Rank 7 Magical Beast but this fact was never proved to be true.

The Wind Riding Panther rushed towards Hao Shen once more.

Hao Shen quickly dodged, but the Wind Riding Panther did not stop flying at him. The Wind Riding Panther was very fast, and he could only barely avoid it's strike while using the Thousand Step Whirlwind.

Only after Hao Shen flew into the sky again was he able to avoid the continuous assault but he wouldn't be able to stay in the sky for a long time.

The Wind Riding Panther continued to coldly stare at Hao Shen and did not move as countless traces of Wind Dou Qi gathered, forming ten or so Wind Dou Qi balls.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh…

The Wind Riding Panther shot three Wind Dou Qi balls towards Hao Shen

Hao Shen used the Thousand Step Whirlwind to dodge and the Flash Slash to continuously slash out with his sword, destroying the incoming Wind Dou Qi balls.

Right after dealing with that wave of attacks, in the next second, the Wind Riding Panther once again condensed Wind Dou Qi balls and sent them shooting towards Hao Shen. Right now, let alone attack, Hao Shen could not even get close, making him feel quite frustrated.

The Wind Riding Panther was a Wind-Type Magical Beast and since it had control over the surrounding Wind Dou Qi it could attack without stopping. As Hao Shen dodged its attacks, he considered how to deal with it.

Suddenly, a black blur rushed toward the sky. Xiao Hei had also started to fight, he condensed Grey and Purple Fire Dou Qi around itself and launched them towards the Wind Riding Panther.

The Wind Riding Panther quite startled and hurriedly threw himself to the side, narrowly avoiding this attack. Xiao Hei grasped this opportunity to shoot out a powerful Fire Ball, making the Wind Riding Panther crash on a tree behind it.

Hao Shen decided that he had to attack the Wind Riding Panther now since it had been it by Xiao Hei's Fire Ball; he could not waste the opportunity that Xiao Hei had presented to him.

Hao Shen turned into a ray of light and rushed at the Wind Riding Panther. Seeing Hao Shen approach, the Wind Riding Panther once again gathered countless Wind Dou Qi balls and shot them toward Hao Shen.

Hao Shen continuously dodged as he charged forward, and if he couldn't avoid them, he would slash out sword lights to destroy the Wind Dou Qi balls.

As the distance between them shrank, a trace of panic appeared in the Wind Riding Panther's eyes, and it continued to gather Wind Dou Qi.

"Roarr!" the Wind Riding Panther condensed a gigantic Wind Dou Qi ball, it had used all the already created one and fused them together to create it and launched it towards Hao Shen the fastest it could.

Hao Shen coldly harrumphed and sent his power into his Sword slashed out. A big wave of Fire Dou Qi slashed out towards the Wind Riding Panther, Hao Shen had just used his current most powerful move, the Cloud Separating Wave from the Tyrannical Cloud Splitting Wave.

Bang!!

The two attacks collided, giving off a gigantic explosion, and a massive amount of dust was sent flying around them.

By now, Hao Shen had already reached the Wind Riding Panther, and his sword gave off a terrifying sword light as he slashed at it.

The Wind Riding Panther immediately jumped away and evaded the sword light.

This made Hao Shen feel quite furious. Just as he was about to continue attacking it, the Wind Riding Panther used an attack it had never used till now, a Wind Dou Qi Pillar rose from under Hao Shen.

Bang!!

The Wind Dou Qi Pillar sent Hao Shen flying – The Wind Riding Panther had grasped this opportunity to once again attack.

After crashing to the ground, Hao Shen coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Bang! Bang! Bang…

The Wind Riding Panther continued to condense Wind Dou Qi balls and send them flying towards Hao Shen, but Xiao Hei blocked them using his own Fire Ball.

Hao Shen stood up from the ground, feeling extremely frustrated, it was the first time he was hit like this. Suddenly, Hao Shen had an idea, and his mind quickly worked out a plan.

The Wind Riding Panther gave a loud roar and opened its bloody mouth, it sent out a Wind Dou Qi Wave toward Hao Shen.

Hao Shen coldly harrumphed, and his sword brought with it an immense might, once again slashing at the Wind Riding Panther and sending it flying. After its body crashed to the ground, the ground trembled, and leaves fell off trees like rain.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh…

The Wind Riding Panther stood up and continued to condense countless Wind Dou Qi balls and sent them flying towards Hao Shen, while Hao Shen dodged to the side while sending wave after wave of Sword Light toward the Wind Riding Panther.

He took his Sword and raised it once again using the Cloud Separating Wave.

"Roar!!!" The Wind Riding Panther wasn't able to dodge it this time and was sent flying towards the Trees behind it, However, the Wind Riding Panther still stood up, this time it was injured quite heavily but it didn't seem to want to flee.

Suddenly, a ray of light shot towards the Wind Riding Panther incredibly quickly, giving it a big fright. It immediately tried to dodge

Hao Shen had thrown out the Sword Light toward the Wind Riding Panther, and it wasn't able to react on time. The Wind Riding Panther was once more injured, it was furious, it was a Peak Rank 2 Magical Beast which was comparable to a Peak Dou Shi realm practitioner but it was currently losing to a Peak Dou Zhe realm practitioner.

Hao Shen coldly laughed, and his Sword once more sent out Sword Light. An immense wave of power flowed out from his Sword which gave off a resplendent sword light.

The ground started to shake, and the Wind Riding Panther sensed something and was greatly startled. It immediately tried to move away, but it was already too late.

Boom!!

A 20-meter wide Sword Light suddenly rushed out toward it and blasted the Wind Riding Panther twenty or so meters up into the air. As it crashed back down to the ground, the impact caused the surrounding grounds to crack.

The Wind Riding Panther created a crater that was more than 10 meters wide, and All the trees and rocks nearby were sent flying.

The Wind Riding Panther looked incredibly wretched – blood continuously flowed out of its mouth, and it looked heavily injured.

Hao Shen wiped away the blood at his own lips. The Dou Qi Skill he had just used, the Tyrannical Cloud Splitting, had used up too much of his power, making him feel quite weak.

Before, Hao Shen had always limited himself to use the Cloud Separating Wave, but this time, he had used the much more powerful Tyrannical Cloud Splitting.

Moreover, since it was much more powerful, it also costs much more Dou Qi and since Hao Shen was currently only at the peak of the Dou Zhe realm, it cost him almost all of his Dou Qi.

Hao Shen did not hesitate to rush towards the Wind Riding Panther. When he arrived near it, it tried to defend but didn't have the required strength to even move so Hao Shen directly beheaded it, killing the strongest beast he had killed so far.
